Was ist Fortevital und wann wird es angewendet?
Fortevital ist ein allgemeines Stärkungsmittel auf Basis von
Vitaminen, Mineralstoffen, Spurenelementen, Ginsengextrakt
und Ginkgo Biloba (Japanischer Tempelbaum). Ginseng verbessert die herabgesetzte geistige und körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit. Ginkgo wird im Zusammenhang mit Vergesslichkeit,
Konzentrationsschwäche empfohlen. Fortevital eignet sich deshalb bei Antriebsarmut, Leistungsminderung sowohl körperlicher wie auch geistiger Art und bei Konzentrationsschwäche.
Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?
Hinweis für Diabetikerinnen und Diabetiker:
1 Kapsel enthält ca. 0,01 BW
Aus Stabilitätsgründen enthalten die beiden Darreichungsformen unterschiedliche Vitamine zugesetzt.
Wann darf Fortevital nicht angewendet werden?
Fortevital darf nicht eingenommen werden bei bekannter
Überempfindlichkeit auf einen der Inhaltsstoffe gemäss Zusammensetzung. Die Kapseln dürfen nicht angewendet werden bei gleichzeitiger Behandlung mit anderen Vitamin Ahaltigen Präparaten oder mit Retinoiden (z.B. gegen Akne)
oder wenn eine Überversorgung mit Vitamin A (=Hypervitaminose A) besteht. Das Tonikum darf nicht eingenommen
werden bei gleichzeitiger Behandlung mit anderen Vitamin Dhaltigen Präparaten oder wenn eine Überversorgung mit Vitamin D (=Hypervitaminose D) besteht. Zur Anwendung von
Fortevital bei Kindern liegen keine Untersuchungen vor. Es sollte
deshalb bei Kindern unter 12 Jahren nicht angewendet werden.
Wann ist bei der Einnahme von Fortevital Vorsicht geboten?
Nicht während längerer Zeit in einer höheren als der empfohlenen Dosierung einnehmen. Fortevital enthält Ginkgo Biloba,
welches bei Beschwerden infolge Arteriosklerose eingesetzt
wird, das Tonikum enthält zudem 15 Vol. % Alkohol. Fortevital
Tonikum ist daher für Kinder und Jugendliche unter 18 Jahren
nicht geeignet. Bei Beachtung der empfohlenen Dosierung
werden bei jeder Einnahme des Tonikums bis zu 2,35 g Alkohol zugeführt. Ein gesundheitliches Risiko besteht u.a. für Leberkranke, Alkoholkranke, Epileptiker, Hirngeschädigte,
Schwangere und Stillende. Die Wirkung anderer Arzneimittel kann verstärkt oder beeinträchtigt werden.
Hinweis für Diabetikerinnen und Diabetiker: Ginseng kann
den Blutzucker-Spiegel senken. Aufgrund der in Fortevital
enthaltenen Ginkgo- und Ginseng-Extrakte kann eine Wechselwirkung mit Arzneimitteln, welche die Blutgerinnung
hemmen (Antikoagulantien wie Cumarine), aber auch viele
Schmerz- und Rheumamittel, nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
Bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung von blutgerinnungshemmenden Mitteln sowie bei Patienten und Patientinnen mit erhöhter Blutungsneigung kann das Blutungsrisiko erhöht sein.
Deshalb sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Ihre Ärztin über die Einnahme
von Fortevital informieren. Es ist ratsam, auf die Einnahme
von Fortevital mindestens 2 Wochen vor jeder Operation zu
verzichten. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie
- an anderen Krankheiten leiden,
- Allergien haben oder
- andere Arzneimittel (auch Selbstgekaufte!) einnehmen
oder äusserlich anwenden.
Darf Fortevital während einer Schwangerschaft oder in Stillzeit eingenommen werden?
Fortevital Tonikum enthält 15 % Vol. Alkohol. Während der
Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit sollte Fortevital Tonikum
daher nicht eingenommen werden. Anstelle des Tonikums
stehen die alkoholfreien Kapseln zur Verfügung. Die Fortevital
Kapseln enthalten unter anderem Vitamin A. Wenn Sie
schwanger sind oder es werden möchten, dürfen Sie Fortevital Kapseln nur mit Absprache mit Ihrem Arzt oder Ihrer
Ärztin einnehmen. Die vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene
Dosis darf nicht überschritten werden, da ein Zuviel an Vitamin A, insbesondere in der Frühschwangerschaft, auf das
werdende Kind schädigend wirken könnte. Beim Verzehr von
grossen Mengen Vitamin A-haltiger Lebensmittel soll das
gleichzeitige Einnehmen der Fortevital Kapseln vermieden
werden. Beim Verzehr von Leber darf Fortevital nicht eingenommen werden. Wenden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall an Ihren
Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. an Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Wie verwenden Sie Fortevital?
Erwachsene nehmen 2 Kapseln täglich unzerkaut, jeweils
mit etwas Flüssigkeit oder 3 x täglich 20 ml Tonikum mittels
beigefügtem Messbecher. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel
wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem
Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. mit Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Fortevital haben?
Bei der Einnahme von Fortevital können sehr selten leichte
Magen-Darm-Beschwerden, Kopfschmerzen oder allergische Reaktionen der Haut (Hautrötung, -schwellung, Juckreiz) auftreten. Dieses Arzneimittel kann die Blutgerinnung
beeinflussen (siehe "Wann ist bei der Einnahme von Fortevital
Vorsicht geboten?"). Wenn Sie Nebenwirkungen bemerken,
die hier nicht beschrieben sind, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin informieren.
Was ist ferner zu beachten?
Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. Bei Raumtemperatur (15–25°C) und vor Licht geschützt aufbewahren.
Das Arzneimittel darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter mit
«EXP» bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden. Weitere Auskünfte erteilt Ihnen ihr Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. Ihre
Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
Qu’est-ce que Fortevital et quand est-il utilisé ?
Fortevital est un fortifiant universel à base de vitamines, de sels
minéraux, d’oligo-éléments, d’extraits de ginseng et de ginkgo
biloba (arbre sacré de Chine). Le ginseng améliore les performances physiques et psychiques. Le ginkgo est recommandé pour lutter contre les défaillances de mémoire et le manque
de concentration. Fortevital convient donc en cas de manque de dynamisme, de baisse de performances aussi bien
physiques que psychiques et de problèmes de concentration.
De quoi faut-il tenir compte en dehors du traitement ?
Remarque pour diabétiques: 1 capsule contient environ 0,01
UP (équivalents farineux). Pour des raisons de stabilité, les
deux formes galéniques contiennent des vitamines différentes.
Quand Fortevital ne doit-il pas être utilisé ?
Fortevital ne doit pas être utilisé en cas d’hypersensibilité
connue à l’un des composants, conformément à la composition. Les capsules ne doivent pas être prises en cas de traitement simultané à base d’autres préparations contenant de la
vitamine A ou des rétinoïdes (p.ex. contre l’acné) ou en cas
d’hypervitaminose A, à savoir une ingestion excessive de vitamine A. Le tonique ne doit pas utilisé en cas de traitement
simultané à base d’autres préparations contenant de la vitamine D ou en cas d’hypervitaminose D, à savoir une ingestion
excessive de vitamine D. Aucune étude n’ayant été effectuée
quant à la prise de Fortevital par les enfants, ce médicament
ne devrait pas être administré à des enfants de moins de 12 ans.
Quelles sont les précautions à observer lors de la prise
de Fortevital ?
Fortevital ne doit pas être pris durant un laps de temps prolongé dans un dosage supérieur à celui recommandé. Le
tonique Fortevital contient du ginkgo biloba, indiqué en cas
de troubles provoqués par l’artériosclérose, et 15 vol. %
d’alcool. Fortevital est donc contre-indiqué pour les enfants
et les adolescents. En respectant la dose prescrite, chaque
prise représente jusqu’à 2,35 g d’alcool. Un risque pour la
santé existe, entre autres, pour les personnes souffrant
de troubles hépatiques ou cérébraux, les alcooliques, les
épileptiques, les femmes enceintes et celles qui allaitent.
L’action d’autres médicaments peut aussi être renforcée ou
amoindrie.
Remarque pour diabétiques : le ginseng peut baisser le taux
de glucose présent dans le sang.
En raison des extraits de ginkgo et de ginseng contenus
dans Fortevital, une interaction avec des médicaments entravant la coagulation sanguine (à savoir les anticoagulants
comme la coumarine), de même qu’avec bon nombre d’antalgiques et de remèdes antirhumatismaux qui ne sauraient
être exclus. En cas de prise simultanée d’anticoagulants ainsi
que chez les patients ayant une tendance accrue aux saignements, le risque d’hémorragie pourrait être augmenté. Aussi
devriez-vous informer votre médecin en cas de prise de
Fortevital. Il est par ailleurs conseillé de renoncer au moins 2
semaines avant toute intervention chirurgicale à la prise de
Fortevital. Veuillez informer votre médecin, votre pharmacien
ou votre droguiste si
- vous souffrez d’une autre maladie,
- vous êtes allergique,
- vous prenez déjà d’autres médicaments en usage interne
ou externe (même en automédication)!
Fortevital peut-il être pris pendant la grossesse ou
l’allaitement ?
Le tonique Fortevital contient 15 % vol. d’alcool. Durant la
grossesse et l’allaitement, le tonique Fortevital ne devrait de
ce fait pas être pris. A la place du tonique, le patient dispose
de capsules sans alcool. Les capsules Fortevital contiennent,
entre autres substances, de la vitamine A. Si vous êtes enceinte ou souhaitez l’être, la prise des capsules Fortevital ne
peut être décidée qu’après entente avec votre médecin. Le
dosage prescrit par celui-ci doit être respecté, une ingestion
excessive de vitamine A pouvant, surtout en début de grossesse, éventuellement nuire à l’embryon. En cas de consommation d’abondantes quantités d’aliments riches en vitamine A, évitez la prise simultanée des capsules Fortevital.
Celle-ci est proscrite en cas de consommation de foie. En
cas de doute, renseignez-vous auprès de votre médecin,
pharmacien ou droguiste.
Comment prendre Fortevital ?
La posologie journalière conseillée aux adultes est de 2 capsules à avaler sans mâcher avec un peu d’eau ou 3 fois 20 ml
de tonique à l’aide du gobelet gradué joint à l’emballage.
Veuillez vous conformer au dosage figurant sur la notice
d’emballage ou prescrit par votre médecin. Si vous estimez
que l’efficacité du médicament est trop faible ou au contraire
trop forte, veuillez vous adresser à votre médecin, à votre
pharmacien ou à votre droguiste.
Quels effets secondaires Fortevital peut-il provoquer ?
La prise de Fortevital peut provoquer dans des cas extrêmement rares les effets secondaires suivants: légers troubles
gastro-intestinaux, maux de tête ou réactions allergiques de
la peau (rougeurs, enflures, irritations). Ce médicament peut
influencer la coagulation sanguine (voir « Quelles sont les
précautions à observer lors de la prise de Fortevital? »). Si
vous remarquez des effets secondaires autres que ceux décrits dans cette notice, veuillez en informer votre médecin,
votre pharmacien ou votre droguiste.
A quoi faut-il encore faire attention ?
Conservez le médicament hors de portée des enfants et à
l’abri de la lumière à une température ambiante comprise
entre 15 et 25 °C. Le médicament ne doit pas être utilisé
au-delà de la date figurant après la mention « EXP » sur le
récipient. Pour de plus amples renseignements, consultez

Che cos’è Fortevital e quando lo si usa?
Fortevital è un corroborante generale a base di vitamine,
minerali, oligoelementi, estratto di Ginseng e Ginkgo Biloba
(detto l’Albero del Tempio nell’antica Cina). Il Ginseng migliora la capacità di prestazione psicofisica logorata. Il Ginkgo
viene consigliato in caso d’indebolimento della memoria e
di distrazione. Fortevital è perciò indicato in caso di mancanza d’energia, di diminuzione della capacità di prestazione
fisica e mentale e di calo della capacità di concentrazione.
Di che cosa occorre inoltre tener conto durante il
trattamento?
Indicazioni per le persone diabetiche: 1 capsula contiene
circa 0,01 equivalenti pane. Ai fini della stabilità del preparato, sia le capsule che il tonico contengono l’aggiunta di
diverse vitamine.
Quando non si può usare Fortevital?
Fortevital non deve essere usato in caso di ipersensibilità
accertata nei confronti di una o più delle sostanze contenute
e menzionate nella composizione. Le capsule non devono
essere inoltre somministrate contemporaneamente ad altri
preparati contenenti le vitamine A o retinoidi (p.e. contro l’acne), o in caso di eccessiva assunzione di vitamina A
(= ipervitaminosi A). Il tonico non deve essere assunto contemporaneamente ad altri preparati contenenti vitamina D o
in caso di eccessiva assunzione di vitamina D (= ipervitaminosi D). Finora non sono state eseguite indagini sistematiche
sull’uso di Fortevital per i bambini. Fortevital non dovrebbe pertanto essere somministrato ai bambini d’età inferiore ai 12 anni.
Quando è richiesta prudenza nell’uso di Fortevital?
Non somministrare per un periodo prolungato in dosi superiori a quelle raccomandate. Fortevital contiene Ginkgo Biloba,
impiegato nei disturbi correlati all’arteriosclerosi. il tonico
contiene inoltre il 15 vol. % d'alcol. Il tonico Fortevital non è
pertanto indicato per i bambini e per gli adolescenti di età
inferiore ai 18 anni. Attenendosi alla posologia consigliata, ad
ogni somministrazione del tonico si assumono fino a 2,35 g
di alcol. Sussiste un rischio per la salute, tra l’altro, per gli
ammalati di fegato, gli alcolisti, gli epilettici, i cerebrolesi, le
donne incinte e che allattano. L’azione di altri medicamenti
può essere potenziata o inibita. Indicazione per le persone
diabetiche:
il Ginseng può abbassare il tasso di zucchero nel sangue.
Considerato il contenuto di estratti di Ginkgo in Fortevital,
non sono escluse interazioni con medicamenti che contrastano la coagulazione del sangue (anticoagulanti, quali la cumarina). Non sono escluse interazioni nemmeno con molti
medicamenti antidolorifici e antireumatici. Con l’assunzione
contemporanea di anticoagulanti, nonché in pazienti con una
più elevata tendenza alle emorragie, il rischio emorragico
può risultare più alto. Si dovrebbe pertanto informare il proprio medico in merito all’assunzione di Fortevital. È opportuno rinunciare alla somministrazione di Fortevital almeno 2
settimane prima di un’operazione. Informi il Suo medico, il
Suo farmacista o il droghiere nel caso in cui:
– soffre di altre malattie
– soffre di allergie o
– assume o applica (medicamento per uso esterno) altri
medicamenti (anche se acquistati di sua iniziativa!).
Si può somministrare Fortevital durante la gravidanza o
l’allattamento?
Il tonico Fortevital contiene il 15% vol. d’alcol. Pertanto, durante la gravidanza e l’allattamento, il tonico Fortevital non
dovrebbe essere somministrato. Invece del tonico, in questi
casi si possono prendere le capsule Fortevital senza alcol.
Le capsule Fortevital contengono tra l’altro vitamina A. Se è
incinta o prevede una gravidanza, può assumere Fortevital
solo previa consultazione con il Suo medico. La dose prescritta dal medico non deve essere superata, perché un eccesso di vitamina A, in particolare nei primi mesi di gravidanza. può indurre danni al nascituro. Se si mangiano alimenti
ricchi di vitamina A, evitare la contemporanea assunzione
delle capsule Fortevital. Dopo aver mangiato del fegato, non
somministrare le capsule Fortevital. In caso di dubbio, rivolgersi al medico, al farmacista o al droghiere.
Come usare Fortevital?
Posologia per gli adulti: ingerire 2 capsule al giorno senza
masticarle, con un po’ di liquido, o 3 x al giorno 20 ml di
tonico. Si attenga alla posologia indicata nel foglietto illustrativo o prescritta dal medico. Se ritiene che l’azione del
medicamento sia troppo debole o troppo forte ne parli al
Suo medico, al Suo farmacista o al Suo droghiere.
Quali effetti collaterali può avere Fortevital?
Con l’assunzione di Fortevital possono manifestarsi molto
raramente leggeri disturbi gastrointestinali, mal di testa o
reazioni allergiche della pelle (arrossamenti, gonfiori, prurito).
Questo medicamento può influire sulla coagulazione del
sangue (v. "Quando è richiesta prudenza nell’uso di Fortevital?”) Se osserva effetti collaterali qui non descritti dovrebbe

What is Fortevital and when is it used?
Fortevital is a general tonic based on vitamins, minerals,
trace elements, ginseng extract and Ginkgo biloba (Japanese temple tree). Ginseng improves diminished mental and physical capabilities. Ginkgo is recommended in
cases of forgetfulness and poor concentration. Fortevital
is therefore suitable for the treatment of lack of drive,
decreased physical and mental performance as well as
poor concentration.
What else should be considered?
Indication for diabetics: 1 capsule contains approx. 0.01
BU. For stability reasons different vitamins have been
added to the two forms of administration.
When should Fortevital not be used?
Fortevital should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients stated in the composition. The capsules should not be used when other
preparations containing vitamin A or retinoids (typically
for acne) are being taken or when an excess of vitamin
A (hypervitaminosis A) is present. The tonic may not be
taken when other preparations containing vitamin D are
being taken or when an excess of vitamin D (hypervitaminosis D) is present. No studies on the administration
of Fortevital to children are available. Fortevital should
therefore not be administered to children under 12.
When should Fortevital only be taken with caution?
Do not take this medicine over a prolonged period in a
dosage higher than recommended. Fortevital contains
Ginkgo biloba which is used for the treatment of complaints due to arteriosclerosis. The tonic also contains
15 % vol % alcohol. Fortevital is therefore unsuitable for
children and adolescents under 18. When taken in the
recommended dosage, each dose contains up to 2.35 g
of alcohol. A health risk exists particularly for persons
suffering from liver diseases, alcohol dependency, epilepsy,
or cerebral lesions, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding
women. Fortevital may increase or interfere with the
effects of other medicines.
The risk of bleeding can increase in patients who are
simultaneously taking medicines to prevent bloodclotting or who have an increased tendency to bleeding
(anticoagulants, such as coumarins) as well as many
painkillers and remedies for rheumatism, cannot be excluded. For this reason you should inform your doctor if
you are taking Fortevital. It is recommended to stop
taking Fortevital at least 2 weeks before any operation.
Inform your doctor, your pharmacist or your druggist if you
- are suffering from other diseases,
- have any allergies or
- are using any other medicines internally or externally.
(even those not prescribed).
Can Fortevital be taken during pregnancy or while
breastfeeding?
Fortevital tonic contains 15% vol. alcohol. Fortevital
should therefore not be taken during pregnancy or
while breastfeeding. Instead of the tonic, alcohol-free
capsules are available. Fortevital capsules contain vitamin A. If you are pregnant or would like to become pregnant, you should ask your doctor for advice before
using Fortevital capsules. Do not exceed the dosage
prescribed by your doctor because a surplus of vitamin
A, especially in early pregnancy, could damage the foetus. If you consume large quantities of foods containing
vitamin A, you should avoid taking Fortevital capsules.
If liver is consumed, Fortevital should not be taken. In
case of doubt, consult your doctor, your pharmacist or
your druggist.
How should Fortevital be used?
Adults should take 2 capsules daily, swallowed whole
with a little liquid, or 20 ml of tonic 3 times a day, using
the measuring beaker provided. Keep to the dosage indicated in this leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you
have the impression that the effect of Fortevital is too
strong or too weak, talk to your doctor, your pharmacist
or your druggist.
What are the possible side effects of Fortevital?
While taking Fortevital, slight gastrointestinal disturbances, headaches or allergic skin reactions (reddening of the skin, inflammation, itching) may occur.
This medicine may affect the clotting of the blood (see:
"When should Fortevital only be taken with caution?").
If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet,
please inform your doctor, your pharmacist or your
druggist.
What other precautions are necessary?
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store
at room temperature (15-25°C), away from light.
Do not use after the expiry date "EXP" stated on the
