AMMORTIZZATORI - SHOCKS ABSORBER
Coppia di ammortizzatori anteriori e posteriori FSM, sviluppati dalla Polini Motori,
di elevate prestazioni specifici per scooter Piaggio ZIP. Particolari ricavati dal pieno
in Ergal. Serbatoio di grande diametro e bassa pressione con azoto per massima
sensibilità e grande controllo di guida. Regolazione idraulica in compressione su
28 regolazioni. Regolazione idraulica in estensione su 38 regolazioni.
Regolazione interasse (posteriore) con 5 spessori 0,+ 40 mm. Attacchi con snodi
sferici (e non in gomma come sullo scooter originale) per migliorare la sensibilità.

PNEUMATICI - TIRES
Rispetto al classico pneumatico a tele incrociate il radiale Polini by PMT, sviluppato nelle
gare della Polini Italian Cup, presenta numerosi vantaggi; leggerezza complessiva, spalla
più flessibile. Adeguato il set up della ciclistica scegliendo una taratura degli ammortizzatori più rigida per fare lavorare il pneumatico a livello di carcassa, il pilota riesce a
sfruttare la stessa elasticità del fianco per scendere e per risalire dalla piega più rapidamente. Questa particolarità si traduce nella possibilità di realizzare traiettorie più secche
e percorrere così meno strada. Meno spazio percorso, ovviamente, si traduce in un tempo
più volece sul giro. Altro punto di vantaggio è il risparmio di peso del pneumatico Polini
by PMT; più leggero di circa 500 grammi rispetto ad uno convenzionale a tele incrociate. Questo vantaggio di riduzione della massa inerziale è evidente in accelerazione, in
frenata e nella diminuzione dell’effetto giroscopico. La mescola consente di raggiungere
le migliori performances e combinazioni tra anteriore e posteriore a seconda del set
up, delle esigenze del pilota, delle condizioni climatiche e dell’asfalto. Per la pioggia è
disponibile una gomma rain intagliata in grado di assicurare un grip incredibile: in questo
caso la mescola è pari a circa 40° shore.

Compared to the classic cross-biased tires, the Polini By PMT radial, developed during
the Polini Italian Cup races, presents several advantages; whole lightness, more flexible
shoulder. The cycling set up is specific with a more stiff calibration of the shocks to make
the tire work at the casing level; in this way the rider can exploit the elasticity of the side
in order to go up and down from the turn more rapidly. It also lets the rider make flatter
trajectories and cover less way. So, less way means also faster lap times on the stop watch.
Another point of advantage is the saving in the weight of the Polini Tire by PMT; lighter
of 500 gr compared to the standard cross-biased tires. The advantage coming from the
reduction of the inertial mass is evident when accelerating, when braking and in the
reduction of the gyroscopic effect. The mixture lets you achieve the best performance and
set up between front and rear tires according to the set up of the riders needs and to the
weather and asphalt conditions. A rain-tire is available for the rainy conditions that grants
an incredible grip: in this case the mixture is 40° shore.

Il nuovo supporto motore permette di montare collettore e carburatore diritto
aumentando le prestazioni. Grazie al supporto motore l’asse della ruota si sposta di 10 mm., migliorando così la stabilità in curva e dando allo scooter un set
up racing!
The new Polini engine subframe gives the possibility to fit the manifold and the
straight carburetor thus increasing the performance. Thanks to the engine subframe the wheel axle moves of 10mm, improving the stability when bending
and giving the scooter a racing set-up.

Sviluppate con specifiche soluzioni tecniche di ergonomia finalizzate alla sicurezza di guida
sono prodotte con elastomeri e tecnopolimeri selezionati di derivazione aerospaziale.
La superficie esterna è antiscivolo con due differenti basi d’appoggio: una più liscia specifica
per il palmo, l’altra più adatta alle dita.
Le due basi d’appoggio offrono così una migliore presa e garantiscono maggiore comfort di
guida. La flangia paramano con nervature a cedimento controllato impedisce alla mano di
scivolare ed elimina le vibrazioni.

Developed using a specific ergonomic technical solution finalized to the safety driving, they
are produced with selected elastomers and technopolymers coming from the aerospace
origin.
The outside surface is anti-slipping with two different support bases: one smoother specific
for the palm, the other right for the fingers.
Both the support bases offer a better grip and grant more comfort during the drive. The
hand cover flange with ribs prevent the hand from slipping and neutralizes the vibrations.
