Tre pietre d’inciampo. Così vengono
chiamate delle mattonelle in ottone
che si incontrano davanti all’ultima
residenza nota dei deportati.
Nella pavimentazione del Ghetto
sono incise memorie dei terribili destini
delle persone che rastrellate dai nazisti
nella Seconda guerra mondiale conclusero
la loro tragica vita nei forni del campo
di sterminio di Auschwitz /
Three stolpersteins or “stumbling stones.”
This is the name given to the brass plates
located in front of the lastknown residence
of deportees. Set in the paving of the
Ghetto, they commemorate the terrible
fate met by the people who were rounded
up by the Nazis during the Second World
War and who ended their tragic lives
in the gas chambers of the Auschwitz
death camp
