1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die USB-AUDIOBOX ist als Audio-Schnittstelle
zwischen Tonquellen, Aufnahmegeräten und
einem Computer mit USB 1.1- oder USB 2.0-Anschluss konzipiert. Dadurch können z. B. analoge Audiosignale auf einen PC übertragen, dort
bearbeitet und auf CD gebrannt werden (wenn
der Computer über entsprechende Hard- und
Software verfügt) oder auf dem PC gespeicherte
Audio-Aufzeichnungen ausgegeben werden.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Kopfhörerausgang zur
Kontrolle der Eingangssignale und der vom
Computer kommenden Audiosignale ausgestattet. Die Stromversorgung des Geräts erfolgt über
die USB-Schnittstelle.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der EU und ist deshalb mit
gekennzeichnet.
G Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
G Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
G Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlossen, nicht richtig bedient oder nicht
fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät
übernommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben
Sie es zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

3 Anschluss
1) Eine Signalquelle mit Line-Ausgangspegel
(z. B. CD-Spieler oder Mischpult) an die
Buchsen LINE IN (2) anschließen (L = linker
Kanal, R = rechter Kanal). Für den Anschluss
eines Mikrofons oder einer Gitarre wird ein
entsprechender Vorverstärker benötigt.
2) Für die Verstärkung oder Aufnahme eines
vom Computer kommenden Audiosignals den
Line-Eingang z. B. eines Aufnahmegeräts,
Verstärkers oder Mischpultes an die Buchsen
LINE OUT (1) anschließen.
3) Die Buchse USB
(3) mit dem USB-Anschluss eines Computers verbinden. Bei eingeschaltetem Computer leuchtet jetzt die
LED POWER ON (4).
4) Zum Abhören des Eingangssignals und des
Signals vom Computer einen Stereokopfhörer (empfohlene Impedanz ≥ 32 Ω) mit
3,5-mm-Klinkenstecker an die Buchse MONITOR
(5) anschließen.

1) Sobald das Audio-Interface mit dem laufenden Computer verbunden ist, werden seine
Audio-Anschlüsse vom Betriebssystem des
angeschlossenen Computers als zwei USBAudiogeräte (Toneingabe und -ausgabe) erkannt.
Bei Bedarf die vom Betriebssystem geforderten Gerätetreiber nachinstallieren und den
Computer neu starten.
2) Mit dem Schalter SOURCE (6) die gewünschte Signalquelle für den Kopfhörer einstellen:

das Signal des Eingangs LINE IN (2)
USB
das vom Computer kommende Audiosignal;
je nach Einstellung des Computers bzw. der
verwendeten Programme kann dieses Signal
auch die (u. U. mit Verzögerung zu hörenden)
Eingangssignale enthalten
3) Mit dem Regler MONITOR LEVEL (7) die gewünschte Kopfhörerlautstärke einstellen.
VORSICHT Achten Sie auf eine angemessene Kopfhörerlautstärke.
Hohe Lautstärken können auf
Dauer das Gehör schädigen.

4 Operation

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to operation and keep them for later
reference.
1 Applications
The USB-AUDIOBOX is designed as an audio
interface between audio sources, recorders and
a computer with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port. It allows e. g. to transfer analog audio signals to a
PC, to process them there and to burn them on
CD (provided that the computer is equipped with
the corresponding hardware and software) or to
reproduce audio recordings stored on the PC.
The unit is provided with a headphone output to
monitor the input signals and the audio signals
coming from the computer. It is supplied with
power via the USB interface.
2 Important Notes
This unit corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .
G The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
G For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals.
G No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the unit is
used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly connected or operated, or if it is not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which will not be

3 Connection
1) Connect a signal source with line output level
(e. g. CD player or mixer) to the jacks LINE IN
(2) [L = left channel, R = right channel]. For
connecting a microphone or a guitar, a corresponding preamplifier will be required.
2) For amplification or for recording an audio signal coming from the computer, connect the
line input e. g. of a recorder, amplifier or mixer
to the jacks LINE OUT (1).
3) Connect the jack USB
(3) to the USB
port of a computer. With the computer
switched on, the LED POWER ON (4) will
light up.
4) To monitor the input signal and the signal
from the computer, connect stereo headphones (recommended impedance ≥ 32 Ω)
with 3.5 mm plug to the jack MONITOR
(5).

1) Once the audio interface has been connected
to the computer in operation, the operating
system of the computer connected will recognize its audio connections as two USB
audio units (audio input and audio output).
If necessary, install the drivers required by
the operating system and restart the computer.
2) Select the desired signal source for the headphones with the switch SOURCE (6):

the signal of the input LINE IN (2)
USB
the audio signal coming from the computer;
according to the setting of the computer or the
programs used, this signal may also contain
the input signals (possibly to be heard with
delay).
3) Adjust the desired headphone volume with
the control MONITOR LEVEL (7).
CAUTION
Always adjust the headphones
to a reasonable volume.
Permanent high volumes may
damage your hearing.

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention

pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Le USB-AUDIOBOX est conçu comme interface
audio entre sources audio, enregistreurs et un
ordinateur avec port USB 1.1 ou USB 2.0. On
peut ainsi transmettre par exemple des signaux
audio analogiques sur un PC, les travailler et les
graver sur un CD (si lʼordinateur dispose du matériel et du logiciel correspondants) ou bien restituer des enregistrements audio mémorisés sur
le PC. Lʼappareil est doté dʼune sortie casque
pour contrôler les signaux dʼentrée et les signaux
audio venant de lʼordinateur. Lʼalimentation de
lʼappareil sʼeffectue via lʼinterface USB.
2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation
Lʼappareil répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc le
symbole .
G Lʼappareil nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation
en intérieur. Protégez-le de tout type de projections dʼeau, des éclaboussures, dʼune humidité de lʼair élevée et de la chaleur (plage
de température de fonctionnement autorisée :
0 – 40 °C).
G Pour le nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec et
doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou
dʼeau.
G Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants
si lʼappareil est utilisé dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel il a été conçu, sʼil nʼest pas
correctement branché ou utilisé ou sʼil nʼest
pas réparé par un technicien qualifié ; en
outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque lʼappareil est définitivement retiré
du service, vous devez le déposer dans
une usine de recyclage adaptée pour
contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

3 Branchement
1) Reliez une source de signal avec niveau de
sortie ligne (par exemple lecteur CD ou table
de mixage) aux prises LINE IN (2) [L = canal
gauche, R = canal droit]. Pour brancher un
microphone ou une guitare, un préamplificateur idoine est nécessaire.
2) Pour lʼamplification ou lʼenregistrement dʼun
signal audio venant de lʼordinateur, reliez lʼentrée ligne par exemple dʼun enregistreur, amplificateur ou table de mixage aux prises LINE
OUT (1).
3) Reliez la prise USB
(3) au port USB dʼun
ordinateur. Lorsque lʼordinateur est allumé, la
LED POWER ON (4) brille.
4) Pour écouter le signal dʼentrée et le signal de
lʼordinateur, reliez un casque stéréo (impédance recommandée ≥ 32 Ω) avec fiche jack
3,5 à la prise MONITOR
(5).

1) Dès que lʼinterface audio est relié à lʼordinateur en fonctionnement, ses branchements
audio sont reconnus par le système dʼexploitation de lʼordinateur relié comme deux appareils audio USB (entrée audio et sortie
audio).
Si besoin, réinstallez les drivers nécessités par le système dʼexploitation et redémarrez lʼordinateur.
2) Avec lʼinterrupteur SOURCE (6), réglez la
source de signal voulue pour le casque :
LINE : signal de lʼentrée LINE IN (2)
USB : signal audio venant de lʼordinateur ;
selon le réglage de lʼordinateur ou selon les
programmes utilisés, ce signal peut également contenir les signaux dʼentrée (selon les
cas avec temporisation audible)
3) Avec le réglage MONITOR LEVEL (7), réglez
le volume souhaité du casque.
ATTENTION Ne réglez jamais le volume du
casque trop fort. Des volumes
extrêmement élevés peuvent,
à long terme, endommager
lʼouïe.

4 Funzionamento
Interfaccia USB audio
Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni prima della messa in funzione e
di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità dʼimpiego
LʼUSB-AUDIOBOX è stata realizzata come interfaccia audio fra sorgenti audio, registratori e
un computer con porta USB 1.1 o USB 2.0. Così
è possibile trasferire su un PC per esempio segnali audio analogici per essere elaborati e masterizzati su un CD (se il computer dispone del
hardware e software necessario) oppure si possono riprodurre le registrazioni audio memorizzate sul computer. Lʼapparecchio è equipaggiato
con unʼuscita per cuffia per il controllo dei segnali
dʼingresso e dei segnali audio provenienti dal
computer. Lʼalimentazione avviene tramite la
porta USB.
2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso
Questʼapparecchio è conforme a tutte le direttive
richieste dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .
G Usare lʼapparecchio solo allʼinterno di locali e
proteggerlo dallʼacqua gocciolante e dagli
spruzzi dʼacqua, da alta umidità dellʼaria e dal
calore (temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra
0 e 40 °C).
G Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
G Nel caso dʼuso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati, dʼimpiego scorretto o di riparazione non
a regola dʼarte dellʼapparecchio, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali
danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e

Se si desidera eliminare lʼapparecchio
definitivamente, consegnarlo per lo
smaltimento ad unʼistituzione locale per

3 Collegamento
1) Collegare una sorgente di segnali con uscita
Line (p. es. lettore CD o mixer) con le prese
LINE IN (2) [L = canale sinistro, R = canale
destro]. Per il collegamento di un microfono o
di una chitarra è richiesto un preamplificatore
adeguato.
2) Per lʼamplificazione o la registrazione di un
segnale audio proveniente dal computer, collegare lʼingresso Line, p. es. di un registratore, amplificatore o mixer, con le prese LINE
OUT (1).
3) Collegare la presa USB
(3) con la porta
USB del computer. Con il computer acceso, si
accende il LED POWER ON (4).
4) Per ascoltare il segnale dʼingresso e il segnale proveniente dal computer, collegare
una cuffia stereo (impedenza consigliata
≥ 32 Ω) con jack 3,5 mm con la presa MONITOR
(5).

1) Quando lʼinterfaccia audio è collegata con il
computer acceso, i suoi contatti audio saranno riconosciuti dal sistema operativo del
computer come due dispositivi audio USB
(audio IN e OUT).
Se necessario installare i driver richiesti
dal sistema operativo e riavviare il computer.
2) Con il selettore SOURCE (6) impostare la
sorgente di segnali per la cuffia:

il segnale dellʼingresso LINE IN (2)
USB
il segnale audio proveniente dal computer; a
seconda dellʼimpostazione del computer o dei
programmi usati, questo segnale può contenere (eventualmente con un ritardo) anche i
segnali dʼingresso
3) Con il regolatore MONITOR LEVEL (7) impostare il volume per la cuffia.
ATTENZIONE Fare attenzione ad un volume
adeguato della cuffia. A lungo
andare, volumi alti possono
danneggiare lʼudito.

4 Funcionamiento
Interfaz de Audio USB
Lea atentamente las instrucciones de funcionamiento antes de utilizar el aparato y guárdelas
para usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
El USB-AUDIOBOX está diseñado como interfaz de audio entre fuentes de audio, grabadores
y un ordenador con puerto USB 1.1 o USB 2.0.
Permite, por ejemplo, transferir señales analógicas de audio a un PC, para procesarlas y copiarlas en un CD (siempre que el ordenador esté
equipado con el software y el hardware correspondiente) o para reproducir grabaciones de
audio almacenadas en el PC. El aparato está
provisto con una salida de auriculares para monitorizar las señales de entrada y las señales de
audio que provienen del ordenador. Se alimenta
mediante la interfaz USB.
2 Notas Importantes
Este aparato cumple con todas las directivas requeridas por la UE y por lo tanto está marcado
con el símbolo .
G El aparato está adecuado sólo para utilizarlo
en interiores. Proteja el aparato de goteos y
salpicaduras, elevada humedad del aire y
calor (temperatura ambiente admisible:
0 – 40 °C).
G Utilice sólo un paño suave y seco para la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni agua ni productos
químicos.
G No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad alguna por cualquier daño personal o material producido si se utiliza el aparato para
fines diferentes a los originalmente concebidos, si no se conecta o no se utiliza correctamente, o sino se repara por expertos.
Si va a poner el aparato fuera de servicio
definitivamente, llévelo a la planta de reciclaje de la zona para que su eliminación

3 Conexión
1) Conecte una fuente de señal con nivel de salida de línea (p. ej. lector CD o mezclador) a
las entradas LINE IN (2) [L = canal izquierdo,
R = canal derecho]. Para conectar un micrófono o una guitarra, se necesita el preamplificador correspondiente.
2) Para amplificar o para grabar una señal de
audio que provenga del ordenador, conecte
la entrada de línea de un grabador, amplificador o mezclador (por ejemplo) a las tomas
LINE OUT (1).
3) Conecte la toma USB
(3) al puerto USB
de un ordenador. Con el ordenador conectado, se ilumina el LED POWER ON (4).
4) Para monitorizar la señal de entrada y la
señal del ordenador, conecte auriculares estéreo (impedancia recomendada ≥ 32 Ω) con
jack 3,5 mm en la toma MONITOR
(5).

1) Cuando la interfaz de audio se ha conectador al ordenador en funcionamiento, el sistema operativo del ordenador conectado reconocerá sus conexiones de audio como dos
aparatos de audio USB (entrada y salida de
audio).
Si es necesario, instale los drivers en el
sistema operativo y reinicie el ordenador.
2) Seleccione la fuente de señal que quiera para
los auriculares con el interruptor SOURCE
(6):

La fuente de audio que viene del ordenador;
de acuerdo con los ajustes del ordenador o
de los programas que se utilicen, esta señal
puede contener las señales de entrada (posiblemente se escuchará con retraso).
3) Ajuste el volumen de los auriculares deseado
con el control MONITOR LEVEL (7).
PRECAUCIÓN Ajuste siempre los auriculares
en un volumen razonable.

Interfejs USB Audio
Przed rozpoczęciem instalacji proszę dokładnie
zapoznać się z niniejszą instrukcją i zachować
ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
USB-AUDIOBOX jest interfejsem audio służącym do podłączania źródeł audio do portu
USB 1.1 lub USB 2.0 komputera. Pozwala m.in.
na transfer analogowych sygnałów audio do
komputera PC i ich późniejsze przetworzenie lub
zapisanie np. na płycie CD (za pomocą odpowiedniego oprogramowania) oraz na odtwarzanie nagrań audio z pamięci komputera. Urządzenie wyposażone jest w wyjście słuchawkowe
do monitorowania sygnałów wejściowych oraz
sygnału z komputera. Zasilanie urządzenia odbywa się poprzez interfejs USB.

3 Podłączanie
1) Podłączyć źródło sygnału z wyjściem liniowym (np. odtwarzacz CD lub mikser) do
gniazd LINE IN (2) [L = lewy kanał, R = prawy
kanał]. Do podłączenia mikrofonu lub gitary
konieczny jest przedwzmacniacz.
2) W celu wzmocnienia lub nagrania sygnału z
komputera, do gniazd LINE OUT (1) podłączyć wejście rejestratora lub miksera.
3) Podłączyć gniazdo USB
(3) do portu
USB komputera. Przy włączonym komputerze świeci dioda POWER ON (4).
4) Aby odsłuchać sygnał wejściowy oraz sygnał
z komputera, podłączyć słuchawki stereo (zalecana impedancja ≥ 32 Ω) z wtykiem 3,5 mm
do gniazda MONITOR
(5).

1) Po podłączeniu interfejsu audio do pracującego komputera, zostanie on rozpoznany
jako dwa urządzenia USB audio (wejście i
wyjście audio).
Jeżeli trzeba, zainstalować sterowniki i
zrestartować komputer.
2) Wybrać odpowiednie źródło dźwięku dla słuchawek, przełącznikiem SOURCE (6):

USB
sygnał audio z komputera; zgodnie z ustawieniami w komputerze lub w programie, sygnał ten może zawierać sygnał wejściowy (słyszalny z niewielkim opóźnieniem).
3) Ustawić odpowiedni poziom głośności na słuchawkach regulatorem MONITOR LEVEL (7).
Nie ustawiać wysokiego poziomu głośności na słuchawkach.
Permanentne działanie głośnego dźwięku może uszkodzić słuch.
