Chi siamo / About us
Hammer srl festeggia quest’anno il suo 10° anniversario dalla sua fondazione nel 2005.
HMR Helmets® è frutto dell’esperienza acquisita in questi anni da Hammer Srl in qualità di produttrice di caschi da sci. Sotto la regia di unico proprietario, Giuseppe Rizzitiello e della sua famiglia, si esprime come azienda artigianale di qualità nel rispetto di
morale etica e responsabilità sociale che la contraddistingue. Ogni casco viene realizzato artigianalmente utilizzando manodopera italiana, nel rispetto della filosofia del
prodotto “Fully Made in Italy”. La conoscenza dei materiali e l’utilizzo della tecnologia
unita all’esperienza artigiana ha portato l’azienda a ritagliarsi un ruolo di spicco tra i
produttori di caschi da sci, snowboard e boardercross.
This year, Hammer Srl is celebrating its 10th anniversary from its foundation by Giuseppe
Rizzitiello and his family in 2005. HMR Helmets® is the result of the experience acquired in
these years by Hammer srl as a prestigious ski helmets manufacturer. The Rizzitiello family’s
enterprise wants to distinguish itself as an artisan company, which respects the moral ethics
and the social responsibilities, while offering high quality products. Every single helmet is
handcrafted, using Italian skilled labor, respecting the philosophy of the “fully made in Italy”
product. The knowledge of the materials and the technology combined with the artisan experience have led the company to gain a leading position among the producers of ski, snowboarding and boardercross helmets.

Ricerca e sviluppo / Innovation and Design
La progettazione di un casco è uno degli aspetti più importanti del nostro lavoro, per
questo il TEAM ricerca e sviluppo è coordinato dal nostro art director Massimo Facchinetti, con una esperienza a 360° nel product e graphic design al fine di acquisire e
portare innovazione anche da altre esperienze ed integrare la migliore ed la più avanzata ricerca su materiali e forme. HMR Helmets® crea i propri caschi basandosi sulle
nuove tendenze ed elaborando così nuove soluzioni su tre principi, sicurezza, innovazione e igienizzazione. Il modello è analizzato sotto il profilo estetico e funzionale ma
deve rispettare le prove di massima efficienza alla resistenza alla sicurezza e comfort
ergonomico e attraverso un processo di reverse engineering sono eseguite le messe
a punto necessarie per la definizione e per l’omologazione del casco ai massimi livelli
con innovazione nei materiali più leggeri e performanti dal mix design materico.
The design of a helmet is one of the most important aspects of our work, for this we cooperate with the company Prototypes sas the art director Massimo Facchinetti, with a 360 °
experience in product and graphic design. HMR Helmets® creates their helmets based on
new trends and new trends and processes so new solutions in the field of safety and design.
Starting from the initial brief, it can be useful to the design phase, transferring the ideas on
paper first and then creating a style template that mimics the final product. The model is
then analyzed aesthetically and functionally and by a process of reverse engineering are
made setups necessary for the definition and for the approval of the helmet.

Sicurezza e omologazioni / Safety and approvals
La sicurezza è uno gli obiettivi dell’azienda HMR Helmet®, non solo ai fini della pura
omologazione. Ogni casco è sottoposto a numerosi e accurati test capaci di provarne
l’uniformità ai parametri imposti dalle normative nazionali e internazionali, al fine di
garantire sempre la massima sicurezza possibile ai nostri clienti.
Tutti i nostri caschi hanno ottenuto omologazione CE EN 1077 – Classe A.
I caschi di classe A hanno superato prove d’impatto estreme con parametri più rigidi
rispetto a quelli in classe B e quindi, sono più adatti a chi pratica sci e snowboard in
modo intenso e agonistico. I caschi di classe A proteggono una superficie più ampia e
quindi danno allo sportivo una protezione nettamente superiore.
Safety is one of the goals of the HMR Helmet® company. Each helmet is subjected to numerous and accurate tests that can prove its uniformity with the parameters set by national and
international standards, in order to ensure maximum safety to our costumers.
All our helmets have obtained CE EN 1077-CLASS A approval.
The helmets in Class A have passed strenuous impact tests with more demanding parameters than those for Class B. Therefore they are more suitable for those who ski and snowboard in an intense and competitive level. Class A helmets protect a larger area and offer the
athlete clearly superior protection.

La tecnologia brevettata SFR (Solid Fragrance Release) by Oikos Fragrances è in esclusiva solo per il gruppo HMR Helmet® e permette di utilizzare note olfattive che vengono diffuse naturalmente, per semplice ventilazione all’interno del casco. Il sistema
Oikos Fragrances garantisce caratteristiche qualitative, estetiche e funzionali nettamente superiori rispetto ai processi tradizionali di nebulizzazione, riscaldamento o
evaporazione di profumo o fragranza in fase liquida. La nota olfattiva HMR Helmet
è arricchita con molecole che hanno funzioni scientificamente provate per la sanificazione ed soprattutto per la igienizzazione, garantendo durante l’uso ed a riposo la
neutralizzazione di batteri malsani, causa di odori sgradevoli.
The patented SFR technology (Solid Fragrance Release) by Oikos Fragrances, exclusive only
for HMR and the ZERO35 brand, enables use of essences and perfumes at the solid state.
These fragrances are naturally released by the ventilation system that is normally present
in the helmet. The Oikos Fragrances system offers qualitative, aesthetic and functional characteristics far superior than those given by the spraying, heating and evaporation process
of the fragrance in the liquid state. The HMR Helmet fragrance is enriched with scientifically proven sanitizing molecules that guarantee the neutralization of bacteria, which cause
unpleasant odors. Thanks to this feature, the helmet will stay scented, fresh and sanitized
even after hours of use.

Stampaggio / Molding
Le calotte esterne composte di fibre composite (fibra di vetro, carbonio e Kevlar®)
vengono realizzate con un procedimento meticoloso; realizzata in composito stratificata a mano, abbinando strati diversificati in fibra di carbonio e Kevlar® che vengono
stampati/polimerizzati sottovuoto in autoclave in ambiente controllato. L’impiego di
questi innovativi materiali compositi e i procedimenti realizzativi permettono di ottenere un prodotto di altissimo livello, con caratteristiche di leggerezza e resistenza
uniche sul mercato. Si utilizzano resine epossidiche di alta qualità, certificate e omologate. Le calotte esterne in termoplastica sono realizzate attraverso un articolato processo di fusione che vede combinarsi perfettamente tra loro un insieme di polimeri di
policarbonato poi stampati all’interno di speciali stampi a iniezione. La calotta interna
è in polistirolo, ricavato attraverso un processo di stampaggio a vapore ad alte temperature. Le visiere sono stampate e poi trattate con processi rigorosamente antigraffio.
The external shells, made of composite fibers (glass, carbon and Kevlar® fibers), are produced through a scrupulous process. The material used for the external shells is made through
the alternate stratification of composite fibers (glass, carbon and Kevlar® fibers) polymerized through a compression process in a safe and controlled environment.
The use of these innovative composite materials and the choice of this method of production make this helmet a product of high quality, characterized by remarkable lightness and
strength. In the process are used certified and approved high quality resins.
The external shells, made of thermoplastic, are produced through an articulated melting
process in which a set of polymers of polycarbonate is then injected in special molds.
The inner shells are made of polystyrene obtained through a steam molding process at high
temperatures.
The visors are molded and treated with a vigorous anti-scratch process.

La calotta esterna è verniciata e trattata con filtro UV nel rispetto non solo dei più elevati standard qualitativi l’azienda ha nella sua etica produttiva la tutela dell’ambiente
utilizzando solo verniciature all’acqua.
Le decalcomanie sono applicate interamente a mano, donando così a ogni casco HMR
Helmets® un design forte e riconoscibile, ma rispettando alti standard da azienda manifatturiera artigianale per l’alta produzione.
The external shells are coated and treated with UV filter in order to guarantee a high quality
product. Because HMR Helmets is always careful to protect the environment, during the
finishing processes the company chooses to use water based paints.
The decals, entirely applied by hand, give to the helmets of HMR Helmets® a fierce and
recognizable design.

Le imbottiture interne sono realizzate con materiali innovativi che garantiscono massima traspirazione e comfort. Le cuciture sono realizzate da mani esperte, assicurando un ottimo comfort e calzabilità. Il prodotto finale è così caratterizzato da una grande qualità e attenzione del dettaglio, tipica dell’ Handmade in Italy.
The liners are made with innovative materials, which provide maximum breathability and
comfort. The seams, made by expert hands, ensure optimum comfort and fit. The final product is well characterized by high quality and attention to detail, which is typical of ‘handmade in Italy’ products.
Assemblaggio / Assembly
Lungo le linee di montaggio ha luogo l’accurato assemblaggio delle varie parti che
compongono ciascun casco HMR Helmet®. Prima e durante tale processo, eseguito
interamente a mano da personale specializzato, ogni singolo componente è meticolosamente controllato ed eventualmente scartato anche alla presenza della minima
imperfezione.
Along the mounting lines, it takes place the accurate assembly of the various parts that
composes each helmet of HMR Helmet®. Before and during this process, which is entirely
executed by hand by specialists, each component is meticulously checked and eventually
discarded if it contains even the slightest imperfection.

Test qualitativi / Quality test
Durante le varie fasi di produzione materiali e componenti sono sottoposti a test qualitativi nei quali sono verificate le specifiche tecniche dei materiali, eseguiti test ottici
sulle visiere e analizzata qualità e resistenza della verniciatura. Crediamo moltissimo
nei nostri caschi e nel nostro sistema produttivo, per questo tutti i nostri importatori e
negozianti hanno la possibilità di visitare la nostra azienda per vedere in prima persona le lavorazioni cui sono sottoposti i nostri prodotti. Questa esperienza li rende osservatori in prima persona del nostro lavoro e testimonial dei nostri valori ai nostri clienti. A fine ciclo un addetto prima del confezionamento ha il compito di provvedere ad
apporre l’approvazione di qualità dopo aver visionato ogni elemento del casco stesso.
During the various stages of production, both material and components are subjected to
quality tests. For example, the tests verify the technical specifications of the materials; optical
tests are performed on the visors; and it is analyzed for quality and resistance of the coating.
Because we strongly believe in our helmets and our production system, we give to all our
importers and dealers the opportunity to visit our company in order to let them see firsthand
the work applied to our products. Before packaging the helmets, we personally analyze the
product and affix the approval of quality.

Calotta esterna / External shell
La calotta esterna è la prima difesa contro gli urti esterni, distribuendo l’energia d’impatto
concentrata nel singolo punto su tutta la superficie, proteggendo sia la testa sia gli altri
componenti del casco contenuti al suo interno.
The external shell is the first defense against external shocks. It spreads the energy of the impact
and it concentrates it in a single point on the entire helmet, protecting both the head and the
other components of the helmet.
Calotta interna / The core
La funzione della calotta interna è quella di assorbire ogni eventuale colpo esterno e disperderlo, evitando che si trasmetta alla testa. La calotta è realizzata in polistirolo espanso con struttura ventilata, che la rende leggera e resistente.
The core has the function to absorb the energy of an impact, which it does through compression
or destruction, in order to protect the head. The core is made with expanded polystyrene, the
perfect material for a light weighted and shock absorbing helmet.
Imbottitura / Padding
L’imbottitura è realizzata con tessuto in microfibra con tecnologia Microsense con aggiunta del trattamento idrofilo 2dry che garantisce al tessuto la veloce dispersione del sudore
e un asciugamento rapido. Il capo è inoltre trattato “Sanitized”: procedimento antimicrobico, con protezione batteriostatica e fungistatica. La successiva foratura dello Shalimar e
l’accoppiatura a schiume reticolate rendono l’imbottitura altamente traspirante.
The padding is made of microfiber fabric with Microsense technology, which guarantee high
comfort and softness. The addition of the hydrophilic treatment ‘2dry’ ensures a fast perspiration dispersion and a quick drying. The padding is also sanitized trough an antimicrobial process,
which protects against bacteria and fungus. The subsequent drilling of the Shalimar and the use
of reticulated foams make the padding highly breathable.
Ventilazione / Ventilation
Un elemento fondamentale per il comfort dello sciatore è il sistema di ventilazione costituito dalle prese d’aria che permettono l’ingresso di aria fresca e la contemporanea fuoriuscita di quella calda e umida. Il nostro Team ricerca e sviluppo ha individuato il miglior
orientamento dei flussi e trovato la giusta quantità nella miscela d’aria idonea ad areare
in condizioni estreme quale l’ambiente di alta quota.

A fundamental feature for the comfort of the skier is the ventilation system, which allows the
entry of fresh air and the simultaneous exit of the hot air and moisture. Our R&S Team studied
the quantity of air flow inside the helmet, in order to create new solution to guarantee the right
amount of air even in extreme conditions as the one of high altitude.
Protezioni morbide / Soft protectors
Le protezioni alle guance e orecchie morbide sono realizzate in materiale termoformato
e in ecopelle. Le aperture sono protette da rete in alcuni casi, per consentire la corretta
percezione dei rumori esterni; sono rimovibili per garantire il massimo comfort termico
anche nei periodi più caldi.
The soft cheeks and the ear pads are made of thermoformed material and faux leather. In some
cases, the openings are protected by nets, in order to allow the proper perception of the external
noise. They are removable for maximum thermal comfort even in the hottest periods.

La funzione del sistema di chiusura è mantenere il casco sulla testa di chi lo indossa non
solo durante la discesa ma soprattutto in caso d’urto; noi utilizziamo sui caschi cinturino
con fibbia metallica e regolazione micrometrica a sgancio rapido.
The function of the fastening system is both to hold the helmet firmly on your head, and to make
sure the helmet stays on your head in case of a crash. On our helmets we use a strap with a metal
buckle and with a micrometric regulation with fast release.

La visiera deve essere una protezione contro il vento e la neve e assicurare una visione ottimale senza appannamento. Le nostre visiere sono realizzate in policarbonato con trattamento antigraffio. Sistema a sgancio rapido per rimuoverla facilmente quando non in uso.
The visor must be a protection against the wind and snow, ensuring an optimal vision without
fogging. Our visors are made of polycarbonate, and are treated with an anti-scratch process.

Su tutti i caschi è stata aggiunta, sul frontale, una protezione in materiale morbido per
evitare che tra il casco e la maschera integrata ci siano sgocciolamenti di acqua in caso di

On the front of all the helmets, a protection made with a soft material has been added in order to
avoid leaks of water between the helmet and the integrated mask in case of rain or melted snow.

H1 è un casco leggero e di grande comfort. Nato come casco snowboard… omologato CE EN 1077 - Classe A; studiato
in funzione di un’esigenza di leggerezza e di comfort estremi, ma al tempo stesso, sicuro e affidabile in uno sport
dove osare e spingersi oltre i propri limiti è un concetto
comune sia al mondo degli snowboarder che alla filosofia
HMR Helmets®.
Il casco viene fornito anche con visiera removibile, per lasciare massima libertà in base alle proprie esigenze.
Il casco H2 è fatto a mano in Italia e dispone di una clip ferma maschera, con la quale è possibile fissare la maschera
al casco. L’estrattore posto nella parte superiore del casco
permette un’adeguata e continua regolazione della ventilazione per un maggiore comfort. Questo è rafforzato da
un’imbottitura traspirante e anti-allergica. I paraorecchie
hanno una ventilazione che gli viene fornita dalla circolazione dell’aria nel casco.
H3 è il casco ideale con caratteristiche di comfort per tutti
gli amanti della neve e per tutte le persone che vogliono
superare i propri limiti.

The H1 helmet is lightweight and comfortable. It was first designed as a snowboard helmet as a response of the need of a
very light and comfortable helmet, and at the same time safe
and reliable, especially in a sport where it’s a common concept

The H2 helmet is ideal for all snow lovers and for all the people who wants to push their limits. The H2 helmet, handmade
in Italy, has a stop-mask clip, which you can use to attach the
mask to the helmet. The air vent, located in the upper part of
the helmet, provides balanced and continuous ventilation in
order to provide great comfort. This is also made possible by
the use of breathable and anti-allergic padding. The ear pads
are ventilated thanks to the airflow naturally present inside the
helmet.

Il design sobrio, essenziale ma al contempo esclusivo sia nelle linee che nelle grafiche
lo pone al top di gamma. L’elevata resistenza della fibra di carbonio e del Kevlar®,
nonché la loro rinomata leggerezza, fanno di questo casco un qualcosa di unico nel suo
genere, all’insegna del massimo comfort e sicurezza.
La stratificazione a sandwich (Carbonio - Kevlar® - Carbonio) si traduce in un casco ad
alta resistenza ed elasticità. L’innovativa calotta in composito, stratificata a mano, abbinando stratificazioni diversificate di fibra di carbonio e kevlar che vengono stampate/ polimerizzate sottovuoto in autoclave in ambiente controllato. L’impiego di questi
innovativi materiali compositi ed i procedimenti realizzativi permettono di ottenere

The sandwich stratification (Carbon-Kevlar-Carbon) gives to the helmet high resistance and
elasticity. The innovative composite external shell, stratified by hand, is made through the
alternate stratification of composite fibers (glass, carbon and Kevlar fibers) polymerized
through a compression process in a safe and controlled environment. The use of these
innovative composite materials and the choice of this method of production make this
helmet a product of high quality, characterized by remarkable lightness and strength. In the
process are used certified and approved high quality epoxy resins.

una volontà ben precisa: caschi da sci in grado di raccontare una storia di passione e
ricerca, una storia di qualità e dedizione maturata in oltre 10 anni di storia HMR. Sono

The packaging chosen for the Limited Edition helmets has not only the function to protect the
helmet, but it’s itself a collectible item. The box is made of fine wood heat-curved and brand
seared. Through the package, we want to express the craftsmanship with natural products,
the moral values with the involvement with the School of the Masters of Wood Enaip of Cantù.

Caratteristiche del casco
H1 è un casco da sci con calotta esterna in policarbonato ad alta resistenza e calotta
interna in polistirolo espanso con struttura ventilata. Il corretto ricircolo d’aria e l’eliminazione del calore interno in eccesso sono garantiti dal sistema di ventilazione
costituito da 5 estrattori, protetti da rete in acciaio inox antintrusione e conforme
all’omologazione CE 1077 - Classe A. Il casco è dotato di un sistema di chiusura con cinturino con fibbia metallica e regolazione micrometrica a sgancio rapido. L’imbottitura
è realizzata con tessuto in microfibra con tecnologia Microsense dalla delicata morbidezza ed elevato confort. L’aggiunta del trattamento idrofilo 2dry garantisce al tessuto la veloce dispersione del sudore e un asciugamento rapido a contatto della pelle
offrendo una gradevole sensazione di grande freschezza. Il capo è inoltre trattato “Sanitized”: procedimento antimicrobico, con protezione batteriostatica e fungistatica.
La successiva foratura dello Shalimar e l’accoppiatura a schiume reticolate rendono
l’imbottitura altamente traspirante.
H1 è caratterizzato dalle protezioni morbide realizzate con materiale termoformato e
ecopelle. Le aperture sono protette da rete per consentire la corretta percezione dei
rumori esterni. Il modello H1 ha inoltre un paranuca anatomico a garanzia di protezione e comfort estremo. Il fissaggio dell’elastico della maschera è assicurato da loop
posteriore in ecopelle.
Helmet features
H1 is a ski helmet with an external shell made of high-strength polycarbonate, and an internal shell made in polystyrene foam with a ventilated structure. A balanced air circulation
and the elimination of the moist air is guaranteed by the ventilation system consisted in 5
air vents, which are protected by a stainless steel net in order to avoid any outside intrusion,
and conforms to EC 1077- Class A standards. The helmet is equipped with a chinstrap with a
metal buckle and with a micrometric regulation with fast release. The padding is made with
microfiber fabric with Microsense technology, which gives to the helmet a delicate softness
and high comfort. The addition of hydrophilic treatment 2dry ensures a fast perspiration
dispersion and a quick drying, offering a pleasant feeling of freshness. The padding is also
sanitized trough an antimicrobial process, which protects against bacteria and fungus. The
subsequent drilling of the Shalimar, and the use of reticulated foams, make the padding highly breathable. Net 20 on filter base: the combination of a high tech net and an open cell reticulated foam guarantees excellent technical and qualitative performances to our products.
The H1 helmet is characterized by soft protectors made of thermoformed material and faux
leather. The openings are protected by net to allow the proper perception of the external
noises. The H1 helmet is also equipped with a neck roll, which offers anatomical guaranteed
protection and extreme comfort. The elastic goggle fixings are provided by a rear loop made
of faux leather.

The decals, durable and thee-dimensional, enrich the graphics of the helmet and are
available with a glossy and opaque finish. The coating system is environmentally friendly:
HMR Helmets®, always careful to protect the environment, uses water based paints in its
finishing processes, safe for the environment and in line with the international ecological
philosophy.
Our handmade allows the application of inserts with leather, carbon, fabric, silk and metal
finishes.
Other features: visors and chin guard fittings on request (accessory sold separately),
approved, they do not cause optical distortions; they do not chip in case of impact.
Approved CE EN 1077- Class A. The helmets in Class A have passed strenuous impact tests
with more demanding parameters than those for Class B. Therefore they are more suitable
for those who ski and snowboard in an intense and competitive level.
Class A helmets protect a larger area and offer the athlete clearly superior protection.

Il casco H2 è fatto a mano in Italia e dispone di
una clip ferma maschera, con la quale è possibile fissare la maschera al casco. L’estrattore
posto nella parte superiore del casco permette
un’adeguata e continua regolazione della ventilazione per un maggiore comfort. Questo è
rafforzato da un’imbottitura traspirante e antiallergica. I paraorecchie hanno una ventilazione sufficiente che gli viene fornita dalla circolazione dell’aria nel casco. La visiera è antigraffio.
The H2 helmet is ideal for all snow lovers and for
all the people who wants to push their limits. The
H2 helmet, handmade in Italy, has a stop-mask
clip, which you can use to attach the mask to the
helmet. The air vent, located in the upper part of
the helmet, provides balanced and continuous ventilation in order to provide great comfort. This is
also made possible by the use of breathable and
anti-allergic padding. The ear pads are ventilated
thanks to the airflow naturally present inside the
helmet. The visor is scratch- resistant.

e detto di ciò che, per le sue caratteristiche, è destinato all’uso esclusivo e che costituisce un’eccezione alla norma, usato in maniera esclusiva ed in modo particolare.
Con la stessa idea di fondo HMR ha sviluppato per i suoi clienti più esigenti la serie
di caschi “Speciali”: caschi personalizzabili e personali, utilizzabili tutti i giorni ma in
maniera esclusiva, per chi vuole distinguersi e farsi riconoscere con stile e personalità.
I caschi della serie “Speciali” di HMR sono realizzati con tecniche di disegno differenti a seconda della tipologia di immagine richiesta: aerografati e disegnati a mano
per ottenere disegni artistici e sempre personali, che vogliono ricordare a chi ordina
questa tipologia di casco un momento speciale o un evento significativo da portare
sempre con se.

“Special”- from the Italian vocabulary, this word takes various meanings, which perfectly
clarify the sense of the word: not common, out of the ordinary, of a distinct or particular
kind, because of its characteristics, it has a specific or particular function and it’s distinguished from what is ordinary or usual.
With the same basic idea, HMR Helmets® has developed for its most demanding costumers the “Special” helmets line: customizable and personal helmets, which can be used
everyday in an exclusive way, designed for those who want to stand out and be recognized
with style and personality.
The HMR helmets of the “Special” line are made with different drawing techniques according to the type of the requested image. The picture is airbrushed and hand-drawn in

casco. Foam anallergico a triplo strato di medio
spessore e densità differenziata. Lente sferica a
doppio strato antifog in policarbonato con filtri
UVA-UVB-UVC. Fascia elastica con l’utilizzo di filati lamé e siliconatura a una banda per un migliore grip al casco. Disponibile anche nella versione
