Perché il nome Stilo: non ci piacciono gli acronimi e volevamo un nome breve che venisse pronunciato bene in tutto il mondo,
con un riferimento all’antichità. Lo “stilo” era lo strumento che gli antichi usavano per scrivere incidendo le tavolette di cera. Da
qui il nome “stile”, “style” in inglese, il modo personale di ognuno di usare lo stilo; il tuo stile.
E il nostro stile è quello di realizzare prodotti che lascino il segno, proprio come lo stilo nella tavoletta di cera dei nostri antenati.

Why the name Stilo: we do not like acronyms and we wanted a short name that could be easily pronounced all over the world,
recalling ancient times. “Stilo” was the name of an instrument that the ancients used to write, engraving wax boards. From here
“stile”, “style” in English, referring to the way each single person uses a stilo: your individual style.
And our style consists of making products that leave a mark, exactly like a stilo in our ancestors wax boards.

Interfono 2: Driver Extra Filter: è dotato di uno speciale filtro
appositamente studiato da Stilo per l’uso sulle S2000 ed è
utilizzato da molti piloti nell’IRC 2010. I rumori di fondo si
abbassano in modo marcato e il pilota sente la voce del navigatore con maggiore volume.
Si sconsiglia l’utilizzo in trasferimento in posizione Road,
poiché il navigatore sente la voce del pilota più attenuata.
Intercom 1: the best Stilo audio quality, available in any
kind of car.
Intercom 2: Driver Extra Filter: fitted with a filter specifically
developed by Stilo for usage in S2000 and used by many
drivers in the IRC 2010. Background noises are strongly
damped and the driver can hear the co-driver’s voice at a
louder volume. As the co-driver shall hear a lower driver’s
voice volume, the usage while transferring to Road mode is
not recommended.

prova speciale, agendo sullo switch “Intercom 1 - Intercom 2”,
senza bisogno di disconnettere i caschi (Fig. 1). L’alimentazione
separata e l’assenza di componenti elettroniche in comune
garantiscono l’operatività di almeno uno dei due interfoni
anche in caso di anomalia. Inoltre ST-30 DES è dotata di un
sistema che annulla tutte le funzioni accessorie e garantisce
la comunicazione interfono, qualora si verifichi un guasto
di un componente dedicato alla sezione radio, telefono e
telecamera.
Switching from one intercom to the other is possible using
the “Intercom 1 - Intercom 2” switch, even during the special
stage, without having to disconnect the helmet (Fig.1). The
two systems do not share any components and their power
suppy also is separated, this ensures that in case one of
the two got damaged, the other would work normally. ST-30
DES is furthermore designed to make sure that the intercom
communication is preserved. Should a radio, mobile phone
or camera component experience a damage, the intercom
would work anyway.

di rumore eccellente anche sulle Super 2000: le auto in

si abbassano in modo marcato e il pilota sente la voce del

Audio quality directly comes from the ST-30 and, thanks to the
“Extra filter” switch it ensures excellent noise cancelling quality
even in a Super 2000, the most noisy car beyond dispute.
Activating the Extra Filter function, background noises are
strongly damped and the co-driver’s voice shall be louder to the
driver’s ears. Since the driver’s voice volume shall be lower to
the co-driver instead, it is recommended that the Extra Filter is
deactivated on transfer.

regolabile. E’ sufficiente rimuovere il rivestimento del braccetto

microfono di 5, 10 o 15 mm più vicino alla bocca.
Omologate anche per l’uso in pista, garantiscono un’eccellente insonorizzazione
del casco. La pressione delle cuffie sulla testa può essere regolata sostituendo
gli speciali spessori in spugna posizionati tra cuffia e casco. Nella versione
Rally ospitano gli speakers, nella versione GT sono removibili e non sono
dotate di speakers, il cui uso non è consentito in pista. Qualora si gradisse

holder. All it takes is to remove the microphone holder padding
and to move the related spacers in order to move the microphone
5, 10 or 15 mm closer to the mouth.

Earmuffs
Certified for circuit usage as well, they assure the helmet to be perfectly
soundproof. Their pressure on the head can be adjusted by replacing the special
foam rubber paddings placed in between the earmuffs and the shell. The Rally
version hosts speakers while in the Touring version they are removable and free
from cables as speakers are not permitted on track. Should you wish a lower
sound insulation, earmuffs can be replaced with dedicated earcushions provided

Integrated plug
WRC DES integrated plug lies far from the Hans clips in order to ease
up the connection jack plugging to the intercom (Rally version) or to the
radio (Touring version).

EJECT SYSTEM EJECT SYSTEM
Il dispositivo è costituito da una piccola camera d’aria (da montare fra il top del casco e il polistirolo)
e un piccolo tubo. Il sistema può essere installato in qualsiasi casco Stilo prodotto a partire dal
2010. In caso di incidente il personale di primo soccorso, dopo aver tagliato il cinturino sotto il
mento, potrà gonfiare il sistema Eject, che solleverà il casco dalla testa del pilota senza dover
muovere il collo, riducendo così i rischi di danni al collo o alla spina dorsale.
The device is constituted by a small air bladder (to be fitted between the top of the helmet and
the EPS) with a small tube. The system can be fitted into any Stilo helmet produced as of 2010.
In case of accident, after cutting the chin tether, first responders can inflate the Eject System,
lifting the helmet off the driver’s head without moving his neck and therefore reducing neck or
spine injuries.

Come funziona / How it works

Il telefono dell’auto e quello del tecnico ai box sono in comunicazione continua. Quando il tecnico vuole parlare
preme il tasto di trasmissione sulla cuffia. Quando il pilota vuole parlare, parla senza dover azionare nulla. Grazie alla
cancellazione di rumore digitale il tecnico non percepisce rumori di fondo fastidiosi provenienti dall’auto anche se la
comunicazione è sempre aperta. Se la chiamata cade il sistema si riconnette automaticamente.
Car and box technician telephones communicate continually. When the technician wants to talk, he presses the
transmission key on the headset. When the driver wants to talk, he just can do it with no need for activations. Thanks to
digital noise cancellation the technician does not hear background noises coming from the car even if the communication is
always active. Should the connection fail, the system would automatically reconnect.

• Mini Bluetooth intercom unit with volume regulation
(1), support slide with quick release (2), professional
connector for connection to the helmet (3) (extension
cable included). The intercom unit communicates
via Bluetooth with the car telephone (4) (battery
charger and case included). The Bluetooth unit
(66gr 74x47x15mm) can be placed on the car and
connected to the helmet with the extension cable
or else it can be placed on the helmet directly and
connected with the related connector (3). The second
solution is advised for endurance races with drivers
change as there is no cable connecting the helmet
to the car and the drivers’ intercoms automatically
disconnect and connect during the change.

Kit per casco integrale, costituito da due parti: una parte (art. AE0315), da installare nel
casco integrale composta da microfono magneto-dinamico a cancellazione di rumore e
spinotto con doppia connessione per art. CG0002 e per art. AE0300. Una parte (art.
AE0300), composta dagli auricolari miniaturizzati con tappi antirumore ear-plugs e spinotto
professionale miniaturizzato con blocco, ad innesto e sgancio rapidi.

The full face helmet kit consists of two components. The first item AE0315, to be fitted into
the full face helmet, is composed by a magnetic-dynamic noise cancelling microphone and a
double connection jack for both item CG0002 and item AE0300. The other item AE0300, is a
set of miniature earphones with noise attenuating earplug and miniaturised professional jack
with fast connection and disconnection. Comes in a practical case.
