WEDDING CEREMONIES
AT VILLA CARLOTTA
The wedding will be celebrated at the Terrazza delle Camelie with panoramic view and
romantic atmosphere. The area is surrounded by an ancient camellias hedge and offers a
huge view on Bellagio, on the lake and on the mountain picks. The terrace is side to the villa
and it is accessible by stairs through the Italian garden or using the two elevators close to the
entrance. In case of unfavorable atmospheric condition, the ceremony will take place in
Plasters Room at the first floor of museum, a valid alternative thanks to the wonderful
atmosphere
which
only
fascinated
work
of
art
can
create.

Villa Carlotta provides:
For the Terrace: up to 100 white chairs for guests, ancient chairs for the couple
and witnesses; white carpet (also blue, if it is available); arch structure in aluminum
(decorated with fake flowers and organdie provided by Villa Carlotta or it’s
possible to decorate it with fresh flowers – extra price); ceremony table with white
tablecloth; pillows for chairs; provision of two plants (topiary boxum) that you can
put near the table or at the beginning of the carpet.
For the Plasters Room: up to 50 white chairs for guests, antique chairs for the
couple and witnesses; 7 meters carpet; ceremony table with white tablecloth;
pillows for chairs; provisions of two plants topiary boxum that you can put near the
ceremony table.
The celebration can take place in opening months and timetable of the Villa (for
civil ceremony you have to consider also the timetable of town hall office: from
Monday to Friday 10.00-17.00, on Saturday 10.00-12.00; for possible exceptions it
is necessary to contact Ente Villa Carlotta and the Tremezzo city hall).
Fee of the local administration includes: reserved area for the wedding at Villa Carlotta
of 1 hour and a half from the ceremony time scheduled (the permanence in the
gardens and in the museum is bound to the opening / closing time of the villa), mayor
service (or delegated person) for the celebration, preparation of necessary document
for legal wedding.
CIVIL WEDDING FEE:
From Monday to Friday and Saturday morning ( in the suitable time): € 1.700,00
Saturday afternoon and Sunday: € 2.000,00
SYMBOLIC WEDDING FEE (without celebrant):
From Monday to Friday and Saturday morning ( in the suitable time): € 1.000,00
Saturday afternoon and Sunday: € 1.200,00
In case the number of guests will pass 20 person it is necessary to pay an extra
contribution to Villa Carlotta:
Until 50 guests: 350,00 euro
Until 75 guests: 400,00 euro
Until 90 guests: 550,00 euro
Until 110 guests: 750,00 euro
It’s not possible to host banquet, but only aperitifs consisting of small buffet (in
agreement with the direction). To contact the manager of the cafeteria Antica Serra,
inside the garden, write to [email protected]
It’s not allowed to spread rise, confetti, flowers or other materials indoor such as in the
garden (fresh petals only outside and by request).
In order to identify your guests and to make easy the entrance it is necessary to
provide them of identifying sign (rosette, bracelet, badges…) or a person who
recognize them at the entry.
Eventually musical accompaniment performed by musicians or using CD player etc.
must be under the payment SIAE according the law (cost charged to the couple).
The wedding will be confirmed by paying the deposit of € 200,00 to the town hall of
Tremezzo for civil wedding and inquire directly Villa Carlotta for the symbolic wedding
and then sending the forms requested by the town hall in www.comune.tremezzo.co.it .
Guests contribution must be correspond at Villa Carlotta at least 1 month before the
celebration of the wedding, it is necessary to send back Privacy form signed for the
approval of treatment with personal details and present documents of condition
undersigned by couple.
The couple will take the responsibility for possible damages at person and/or things in
their presence in the villa and the garden before, after and during the wedding.
It is necessary to reach the details of date, time, celebrant, music, number of guests,
flower decoration, aperitifs and eventual requirement in advance.
Site inspection from the couple must be pre-booked in agreement with Villa Carlotta.
Particular requirement must be agreed with Villa Carlotta.
