ABC è un gruppo musicale originario del Ticino. È nato nel 2005 e presenta un vasto repertorio musicale
tra reggae, funk e balkan a cui si aggiungono diverse influenze. Ha all’attivo due dischi: “Jungle” e “Randomize Your Style”. Il gruppo, che si è esibito in numerosi palcoscenici in Svizzera come in Italia, Austria,
Francia, Paesi Bassi, Germania e Spagna, è formato da 10 elementi: Cedric (chitarra ritmica e voce), Neda
(voce), Matt (percussioni e voce), Leandro (batteria), Gary (basso e coreografie), Sara (tastiera), Kolja
(saxofono), Oscar (tromba), Emilio (trombone), Rama (chitarra).

Inizia a fare rap nel 2003, incoraggiato da Blasto
(Havana Clab) e Dj S.I.D.: con quest’ultimo fonderà
la Gilda della Scienza Viva, di cui fa ancora parte.
Nel 2007 esce il disco Arte Trasmessa, che qualcuno
ancora ricorda e cita, in Ticino almeno. Dopo 5 anni
di collaborazioni sporadiche e lunghi silenzi, esce
nel 2012 con il suo primo lavoro solista, LVGA KING,
sempre per l’etichetta indipendente Rec-Records, di
cui fa parte e per la quale sta preparando Antieroe,
il nuovo album, che uscirà a fine 2014.
He began rapping in 2003, encouraged by Blasto
(Havana CLAB) and DJ SID: with him he will found the

Amiata è trio di musica leggera italiana così composto: Marko Miladinovic (voce e testi), Marco Guglielmetti (chitarra elettrica) e Claudio Büchler (piano). Pure è cavallina senese nata di marzo da Fedora
Saura (anch’essa cavallina e quintetto di musica contemporanea).
Confrontandosi con certe grandiose invenzioni della canzonetta italiana, quali la Tintarella di luna, Goganga e il Tuca tuca, risolve – tra canzonette, poesie, bagattelle, gags e monologhi – spettacoli e concerti
d’eterni ritornelli, ozio e felicità.
Amiata is a trio of Italian pop music composed by: Marko Miladinovic (voice and text), Marco Guglielmetti
(electric guitar) and Claudio Büchler (piano). It’s a leapfrog from Siena born in March from Fedora Saura
(also leapfrog and quintet of contemporary music). Comparing to some great inventions of Italian song,

Alessandro Baronciani, nato nel 1974 e originario
del pesarese, lavora tra Pesaro e Milano come art
director, illustratore e grafico pubblicitario. Ha iniziato
a farsi conoscere autoproducendo albetti fotocopiati che
spediva tramite posta alle persone che si abbonavano,
fino a raggiungere un pubblico sempre più vasto. Un
esperimento mai visto prima nel campo dell’editoria,
che è diventato un piccolo caso editoriale nel mondo del
fumetto e un traguardo straordinario per un’esperienza
di auto-produzione. Queste storie sono state poi raccolte
nel volume “Una storia a fumetti” pubblicato nel 2006 da
Black Velvet Editrice e sempre per la stessa casa editrice
pubblica il romanzo a fumetti “Quando tutto diventò blu”.
Ha lavorato per molte agenzie pubblicitarie ed è stato
regista di spot a cartoni animati per diverse aziende.
Ha pubblicato illustrazioni in numerose riviste e lavora
come grafico per le case discografiche come Universal,
Mezcal e La Tempesta firmando le copertine di gruppi
e cantautori come Bugo, Perturbazione, Tre Allegri
Ragazzi Morti. Ha una rubrica a fumetti sulla storia della
musica su “Rumore magazine”.
Alessandro Baronciani, born in 1974, native of the Pesaro
area, works in Milan as an art director, graphic designer
and advertising illustrator. He started to become known, by self-producing comic-strip books, photocopied and
posted to subscribers, until he attained a wider audience. An unique experience that has become a benchmark
event in the world of publishing comics and an amazing achievement for an experiment in self-production.
These stories have been collected together and published in book form, titled: “Una storia a Fumetti” in 2006,
by Black Velvet Editrice and for the same publishers, a graphic novel called “Quando tutto diventò blu - When
everything turned blue”. He has worked for many advertising agencies and directed the animated commercials
of various companies. He has published illustrations in numerous magazines and works as a graphic designer
for record labels such as Universal, Mezcal and The Tempest, designing the Album covers of groups and
songwriters like Bugo, Perturbazione and Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti. He produces a strip on the history of music
on the monthly, “Rumore Magazine”

Edoardo Calcutta, giovane di Latina, dal 2007 partecipa a centinaia di band fallimentari e rumorosissime
nella sua città. Un giorno decide di fondare con Marco Crypta i Calcutta, duo chimp pop all’italiana, una
miscela indie fra Beat Happening e Lucio Battisti, che si esibisce la prima volta al Sottoscala 9 conquistando subito i cuori dei presenti. Nel 2011 Marco lascia la band e, di conseguenza, Edoardo si ritrova solo
e cantautore.
Edward Calcutta, a young man from Latina, participates since 2007 in hundreds of bankruptcy and very noisy
band in his hometown. One day he decided to found with Marco Crypta I Calcutta, an Italian pop duo chimp,
a mix between indie Beat Happening and Lucio Battisti, who performed the first time at the Sottoscala 9
immediately acquiring the hearts of those present. In 2011, Mark left the band and, consequently, Edward
found himself alone and songwriter.

I Cherubs sono uno spettacolo teatrale memorabile.
Dorati dalla testa ai piedi e incuranti di ogni umiliazione
e del freddo, i due angeli percorrono le strade su scooter
dorati interagendo con la gente e diffondendo un divino
pandemonio. Giocano col profondo e col banale, dando
vita alle immagini più surreali nel loro viaggio.
The Cherubs is a memorably visual piece of theatre.
Painted gold from head to toe and unaware of humiliation
or the cold, two gilded angels take to the street on golden
scooters innocently interacting and spreading divine
mayhem. They court the banal and the profound, creating
the most surreal images on their journey.

“Daddy Long Legs” è un uomo. Un uomo alto, ben vestito, imponente che soffia nell’armonica come se insufflasse vita e spirito dentro i Delta bluesman morti… un trio di personaggi che forgiano uno spettacolo di rock
and roll per gli occhi e le orecchie, trasportandoci indietro nel tempo quando i trovatori bevevano liquore di
contrabbando e prendevano il loro ruolo di intrattenitori più seriamente.
Daddy Long Legs is a man. A tall man. A tall, well-dressed, imposing man who blows the harmonica as if
breathing life and soul into Delta bluesmen long dead… a trio of characters forging rock ‘n’ roll spectacle for
the eyes and ears, hearkening back to when troubadours drank moonshine and took their role as entertainers
more seriously.

cinematografico Barry, porteranno la magia
e il fascino della strada al vostro evento.
Darren compie atti magici curvando cucchiai
e sfidando telepaticamente le leggi della
natura (e molte leggi commerciali!) mentre
l’operatore darren coinvolge i suoi fans con
luci ed effetti di fumo. Il pubblico riferisce
di aver provato sentimenti di sorpresa e

Fedora Saura è cavallina storna da corsa e quintetto di musica contemporanea.
Rielabora, nella tradizione europea, elementi letterari: Nietzsche, Michelstaedter, Joyce, Eliot, Kraus,
Deleuze... artistici, quali furono quelli del movimento dada e futurista; e musicali, quali il teatro canzone
satirico di Ettore Petrolini e quello politico di Giorgio Gaber.
Con il contributo di Pro Helvetia, ha presenziato al primo evento mondiale dei giovani artisti “WEYA” (World
Event Young Artists) svoltosi a Nottingham nel 2012, e alla Biennial of Young Artists from Mediterranean
Europe (BJCEM), svoltasi nella Mole Vanvitelliana di Ancona, nel 2013.
Ha inoltre performato uno spettacolo-concerto alla Baselland Kunsthaus nel 2012 e nella regione insubrica
è stata ospite di Groundzero, chiassoletteraria, Gwenstival, Studio Foce, Cambusindie Locarno, spazio d’arte
La Rada, Lugano Buskers Festival, CSOA Molino, Arcifuorirotta Treviglio, il club Le Scimmie a Milano...

Fedora Saura is a dapple-gray racing horse and quintet of contemporary music. It revises in the European
tradition, literary elements: Nietzsche, Michelstaedter, Joyce, Eliot, Kraus, Deleuze... artistic, as the Dada and
Futuristic movement; and musical, as the satyrical song theater by Ettore Petrolini and politics of George Gaber. With the contribution of Pro Helvetia, it attended the first event in the world of young artists “Weya” (World
Event Young Artists) which took place in Nottingham in 2012, and the Biennial of Young Artists from Mediterranean Europe (BJCEM), which took place in Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona in 2013. It also performed strongly in

Dal suo inizio, The Feeling Of Love si è evoluto da una one-man-band che suonava un garage blues minimalista e nichilista ad un trio ancora in atmosfera garage, ma con maggiore complessità e forza krautrock e influenze psycheliche. La band, per lo più con sede a Metz (Francia), nasce dalla mente di Guillaume Marietta,
che è stato raggiunto da Seb Normal e Sebastien Joly per il loro primo album in studio prodotto dalla Born
Bad Records nel mese di aprile 2011. DISSOLVE ME (anche questo prodotto da Kill Shaman Records negli
Stati Uniti) è il manifesto kraut garage della band. Le canzoni si allungano, i tamburi diventano più tribali,
il synth martella i suoi tasti su una strada infinita, e la chitarra si perde nella nebbia. Si può pensare ai
Suicide, Spacemen 3, The Velvet Underground, Can, Syd Barrett. Il disco permette alla band di raggiungere
un vasto pubblico per colpire il palco dei grandi festival come Rock en Seine a Parigi e essere acclamato dai
media francesi (prima pagina di Telerama, comunicati articoli di Le Monde, Les Inrockuptibles, Rumore, Magia, Grazia, ecc) e ha avuto molte recensioni sui blog statunitensi ed europei. Dopo innumerevoli spettacoli
in tutta Europa e due tour in USA, condividendo il palco con band come Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, White Fence, The Intelligence, Girls, Strange Boys, ecc, The Feeling Of Love ha pubblicato all’inizio del 2013 un nuovo
album intitolato Reward your Grace. Anche se le canzoni mantengono la loro psichedelica e malinconica
essenza garage, la band ri-pensa la sua musica, esplorando territori shoegaze e pop. Qualcosa tra le ballate
psichedeliche pop e le lunghe colonne sonore disturbate da esplosioni soniche.
Since its beginning, The Feeling Of Love evolved from a one-man-band playing minimal and nihiliste garage
blues with a no wave borrowing, to a trio still in the garage vibe but with more complexity and stronge krautrock and psychelic influences. The band, mostly based in Metz (France), comes from the mind of Guillaume

European blogs. After countless shows all over Europe and two tours in U.S.A., sharing the stage with bands
such as Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, White Fence, The Intelligence, Girls, Strange Boys etc., The Feeling Of Love
will release early 2013 a new album titled REWARD YOUR GRACE. Even if the songs keep their psychedelic and
melancolic garage essence, the band re-think their music by exploring shoegaze and pop territories. REWARD
YOUR GRACE is a much more light full records, more accomplish but never steady. Something between psyche
pop balades and long sound tracks of trance disturbed by sonic blasts.

poeta e il contadino”) Alessandro Fiori è riuscito a elaborare un nuovo linguaggio fatto a volte di caustica
poesia urbana incastonata in improbabili scenari visionari e naif. Un genio al servizio del popolo… un cantastorie moderno che con un’inteligenza affilata riesce ad intrattenere le platee, divertendole con le sue storie
spesso al limite del pazzesco e del surreale.

I Go!Zilla si formano a Firenze nel gennaio 2012 e sono
Luca Landi (1986) e Fabio Ricciolo(1989) rispettivamente chitarra/voce e batteria/seconda voce. A Gennaio
2014 entra a far parte del gruppo un terzo elemento,
Mattia Biagiotti (1986), con il ruolo di seconda chitarra.
La band si affaccia sulle scene nel giugno 2012 dopo
l’incisione dell’EP Go!Zilla (Santa Valvola records) a
cui segue il 7” di I’m Bleeding. Dopo queste prime
pubblicazioni le date si moltiplicano tanto da realizzare
ben quattro tour tra club e festival per un totale di
piu di 150 concerti di cui metà al di fuori dai confini
nazionali. Tra questi spicca la partecipazione alla
presentazione ufficiale del Primavera Sound Festival
2013 di Barcellona, ll tour europeo di spalla ai NIGHT BEATS e le date italiane con i THEE OH SEES. Tra un
live e un altro i Go!Zilla concepiscono Grabbing a Crocodile, album d’esordio per Black Candy Records, in cui
l’attitudine punk si fonde a esplosioni di psichedelia: dieci brani pieni di elettricità che trasudano rock’n’roll.
Go!Zilla are an Italian Acid Psychedelic Punk band based in Firenze, Italy and composed by Luca Landi (guitar/
vocasl), Fabio Ricciolo (drum/vocals) and Mattia Biagiotti (guitar/vocal) . Go!Zilla sound takes inspiration from
the psychedelic Nuggets till the 90’s grunge guitars with a strongly punk attitude. They first released an Ep,

Il 2010 è l’anno in cui i fratelli Brondi vengono travolti
da nuove idee artistiche e concezioni di vita che portano alla luce le prime intimissime canzoni, frutto di
una delicata rivoluzione interiore e attitudinale. Dato
il sempre presente orecchio e giudizio degli amici
Andrea Filippi e Dario Brandini, i quali dividevano
con i fratelli Brondi un appartamento in un quartiere
popolare di Livorno, era inevitabile che la strettissima intimità dei quattro si trasformasse in una sola
musica. Giusto qualche nottata rivelatoria strumenti
alla mano, una manciata di concerti e un microfono
in camera a consacrare i pezzi e il gruppo parte per
l’estero. Nel 2011 sbarcano a Londra i Brondibros
and the Outside rockers; una banda da caravan di sonorità circensi e melanconiche, un’attitudine prettamente punk nel corpo di quattro bohemien ottocenteschi. Non ci volle molto perchè i brondibros, fomentati
da impulsi e colori del tutto nuovi, si facessero spazio nella folcloristica scena dell’arte di strada londinese.
Nel 2012, dopo l’incontro con Andrea Appino producono un nuovo EP che li vedrà presentarsi con un nome
nuovo, La maison orchestra.
2010 is the year in which the Brondi brothers are overcome by new artistic ideas and life-changing concepts
that generate their initial most intimate songs, resulting from a new inner turmoil and aptitude. Given the
ever-present ear and judgment of friends Andrea and Dario Filippi Brandini, who shared a flat with the Brondi
brothers in a popular district of Livorno, it was inevitable that the bond between the four was to become
music-oriented. After just a few nights together with their instruments, improvised concerts and then a
microphone to record their songs - the group leaves for a tour abroad. In 2011, they landed in London, named
Brondibros and the Outside Rockers, they are a caravan band of circus and melancholic themes, four purely

circus performers. They have been touring their

Originario della Nuova Zelanda, Martin Ewn con il suo personaggio “Lurk” si è esibito negli ultimi 18 anni sul palcoscenico,
ospite nei circhi o rappresentando il suo eccentrico spettacolo
di strada in più di venti nazioni in tutto il mondo.
“Mimo con abilità”, “precoce pantomimo” e “clown con un
complesso” sono solo alcune delle definizioni che sono
state tentate per spiegare il suo speciale approccio al clown
moderno. Con i suoi tre metri di altezza abita i luoghi pubblici
cercando di non farsi notare. Guardandolo diventa chiaro che il
suo spettacolo è davvero unico.
Originally from New Zealand, Martin Ewen with his character
“Lurk” has for the last 18 years performed on stage, guest
performed in circus’s and performed his own eccentric street
theatre show in over 20 countries worldwide.
“Mime with attitude,” “precocious panto” and “clown with a
complex” are just some of the terms others have used to try an
explain his unique approach to modern clown.
Standing 3 meters tall, he inhabits public places and tries not
to be noticed. Watch as it becomes apparent that this show is
like no other.

‘Mujeres’ debut, was a perfect record. In 2009, the four-piece band from Barcelona were in everyone’s conversation. Their first work ‘Demo 08’ (Hombre Bueno Discos) was considered a local cult treasure and their long
list of shows the real place-to-be. Few months later, the 7” ‘Yella’ was out and more and more fans-hunter
shows arrived: Primavera Sound, Europavox (FR), The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City (UK), as well as
excited reviews in national Media and Influent American spotlights like Maximum Rock’n’Roll or Terminal
Boredom. ‘Mujeres’ (Sones, 09) was the best presentation possible that contained the spirit and energy of these

Arrivano dal Belgio e da anni trionfano in tutto il mondo con i loro divertentissimi spettacoli. Sono due clown
contemporanei che sanno rinnovare la grande tradizione della clownerie con sketch, gags e trovate da
sbellicarsi che ridicolizzano i nostri miti e le nostre mode. “Slips Inside” è la comica interpretazione del machismo contemporaneo, con due uomini che mettono a confronto i propri muscoli come se fossero campioni
di culturismo, mentre in realtà sono solo due disperati in mutande (ciò che spiega il titolo). E così, armati di
poco seducenti slip, i due clown belgi si fanno beffe di tutti i luoghi comuni sulla cura del corpo e sfilano tra
il pubblico impavidi, mostrando muscoli inesistenti, fisici tutt’altro che statuari e molto lontani dai modelli
proposti dalla società contemporanea. Il tutto condito da un immaginario surreale unito a un senso innato
della comicità e a una tecnica acrobatica senza pari. Lo spettacolo è stato salutato con grandi elogi dalla
stampa britannica nel corso del prestigioso London International Mime Fest 2010.
They come from Belgium and since many years they triumph all over the world with their entertaining shows.
They are two contemporary clowns who can renew the great tradition of clowning with sketches, gags that
ridicule our myths and our fashions. “Slips Inside” is the comic contemporary interpretation of machismo,
with two men comparing their muscles as if they were champions of bodybuilding, while in reality they are just
two desperate in underwear (which explains the title). And so, armed with not much seductive panties, the two
Belgian clowns scoff at all the clichés about the care of the body and parade among the audience fearless,
showing non-existent muscles and physiques very far away from the models offered by contemporary art.
Everything is topped off with a surreal imagery combined with an innate sense of humor and a unique technique. The acrobatic show was greeted with great praise from the British press during the prestigious London
International Mime Fest 2010.
ll Pan del Diavolo è un duo Folk / Rock’n’Roll formato da Pietro Alessandro Alosi (chitarra, grancassa e voce)
e Gianluca Bartolo (chitarra e voce). Il gruppo nasce a Palermo nel 2007 e inizia a suonare dal vivo distinguendosi per le sue performance energiche e molto intense. Nel 2008 registrano al Cave studio di Catania
la prima uscita discografica, ossia ”Il Pan del Diavolo” Ep. Nel 2010 esce LP d’esordio “Sono all’Osso” per la
Tempesta dischi, ottimamente accolto dalla critica. Il 3 aprile 2012 esce il secondo album “Piombo Polvere e
Carbone” (Tempesta dischi) in cui all’immediatezza dell’esordio si aggiunge una forte componente psycho.
Nel 2013 la band comunica che partecipeà al festival South by SouthWest di Austin TX con due showcase
ufficiali. Annunciata per il 3 giugno 2014 l’uscita del terzo album “FolkRockaBoom”.

con un monociclo sospeso su una corda! Pete è un divertente assemblaggio di pericolo, fascino e virtuosismo che esprime in una spumeggiante commedia. Mentre le sue doti selvagge hanno stupito il pubblico in

Regal is a four piece post-garage-punk-psych-country band formed originally in Lyon, France. Their music
holds a good deal of melodies combined from country and post-punk influences, giving a richer touch to
the whole “garage etiquette”. These various influences add a very strange specter of feelings to the music
they play in which can be heard songs about hate, love, freedom, perdition… Their second 12” LP “Misery,
Redemption and Love” (home made in March 2012) was released by Azbin Records in January 2013 and they
have recently been touring December (with Animal Trophies), March and April 2013. Regal played and toured

phenomenon, who is able to do anything he likes with a soccer ball at his feet. No, he is not a soccer player, he
is a professional freestyler but he played against Zidane, Neymar and Ricardinho sorting out as winner.

Mazzantini (Appaloosa) nel 2012, solo qualche mese dopo la formazione della band. L’intero album è stato
registrato su una bobina durante una sessione prevalentemente live in una settimana di lavoro intenso. Una
vicinanza unica, ritmi ansiosi, melodie disperate sono il paesaggio ideale. Il loro spettacolo dal vivo trasuda
vitalità e energia che lasceranno evidentemente un segno. In questi anni la band ha suonato in giro per la
Catalogna e l’Italia.

spanish scene. From their formation in early 2012 the band has worked on the sounds from different instruments and lyrics. Their debut album Re-Mi which was recorded by the important producer Nicolo Mazzantini

The duo composed by Stefano Gasparini & Kitsy Kinte was born from the
ashes of the project Jolly Jolly Doowhacker in Fano in 2009. Their music is
characterized by the spirit and songwriting influences from post-grunge,
brit-pop, folk and psychedelic. In 2010 they released their first album positively reviewed by various magazines like Sentire Ascoltare, Solar Ipse, Muco
Stampa and Acidi Viola, who also selected a song of the group for a music
compilation entitled “L’estate sta finendo”. The promotional tour of the
project’s debut sees a long series of concerts across the whole country and
since the last few months the band is involved in recording the new album.

Terrae is a musical project, but not only, which takes various forms but maintains a particular intention. It
brings together several artists who live and work around the world but whenever their routes cross it arises an
artistic creation that tells of the Earth, its colors, smells and flavors through music, dance and street art. On

Nell’estate del 2011, Terry Blue comincia a scrivere i suoi primi testi, nel solco dei grandi nomi della tradizione folk, accostando così alla sua attività di cantante nella formazione funky “Taste The Jam” un progetto
solista. Nel corso del 2013, Terry Blue ha definitivamente dato voce alle sue canzoni, registrando, in aprile,
il suo primo EP, “Six Ruins, One Less Hope”, e partecipando a numerosi concerti nella scena musicale ticinese. Il sempre maggior bisogno di scrivere nuove canzoni e di ampliare la propria produzione musicale lo
porta poi, nel corso del 2014 e degli ultimi mesi, all’incisione un secondo EP, intitolato “The Burning Trees”,
disponibile nei prossimi mesi. In questo secondo lavoro, alle chitarre e alla voce di Terry Blue vengono
accostati il basso di Alan Gerster, la batteria di Matteo Mazza e la chitarra di Giovanni Giovannoli.
In the summer of 2011, Terry Blue begins to write his first texts following the biggest names of the folk tradition, bringing closer to his activities as a singer in the formation funky “Taste The Jam” a solista project. In the
course of 2013, Terry Blue has finally given voice to his songs, recording in April his first EP, “Six Ruins, One
Less Hope,” and participating to numerous concerts on the Ticino music scene. The increasing need to write
new songs and to extend its musical production brings him then, in 2014 and in recent months, to the incision
of a second EP, titled “The Burning Trees”, available in the coming months. In the latter work, Terry Blue’s
guitars and vocals are combined to Alan Gerster’s bass, to Matthew Mazza’s battery and to John Giovannoli’s
guitar.

I “The Kreepers” sono una band di Lugano (CH) nata nel 2011 a
seguito dell’ incontro di quattro ragazzi con la passione per la
musica e la voglia di suonare e di far divertire su palcoscenici
locali. La loro musica spazia principalmente dal rock ‘n roll
più classico fino a ritmiche più swing e gipsy. Un sound che
permette allo stesso tempo adrenalina e ricerca musicale.
Dopo numerosi concerti in Ticino come in Italia, nel 2013 hanno
partecipato al concorso ticinese per giovani band locali “Palco
ai Giovani” riuscendo ad ottenere il secondo posto. Nella
primavera 2014 hanno pubblicato il loro primo lavoro discografico “Midnight Tales”, contenente 10 pezzi originali scritti ed
eseguiti interamente dalla band.
The “The Kreepers” is a band of Lugano (CH) founded in 2011 as a result of the meeting of four guys with a
passion for music and the desire to play and to have fun on local stages. Their music ranges mainly from the
classic rock ‘n roll to more rhythmic swing and gypsy. A sound that allows at the same time adrenaline and
music research. After many concerts in Ticino as in Italy, in 2013 they participated to the competition for young
local Ticino bands, “Stage to young people”, achieving the second place. In the spring of 2014 they released
their first album “Midnight Tales”, containing 10 original songs written and performed entirely by the band.

È passato quasi un decennio da quando un giovane Scottie Yoder ha cominciato a sfornare numeri garage
energetici con l’amico Brendhan Bowers in un capannone sulla Vashon Island nello stato di Washington.
Dopo che un pianista di formazione classica Stefan Rubicz si è unito alla coppia all’inizio del 2007, sono stati
sempre in movimento. Negli ultimi anni, la band si è alternata tra la registrazione di 3 album, una manciata
di 7” e tour in tutto il Nord America e l’Europa, con bands come Japanther e Vivian Girls o Kimya Dawson e
Matt + Kim. Hanno trascorso il 2009 a New Orleans, dove hanno registrato l’LP Weekend per Park Le Van
Records. The Stranger di Seattle l’ha definito “il disco più forte, il più consistente che la band abbia mai fatto
che continua a muoversi ancora più lontano dai suoi inizi punk, sperimentando un suono più morbido, a
volte psichedelico cucito con dolci armonie.” Il New Orleans Gambit ha dichiarato che “l’LP suona come un
artefatto perduto nella Londra del 1965” e che “la band precedentemente psych / pop trova improvvisamente una precisione da laser, sia musicalmente che liricamente.”
Così, dopo aver sostenuto l’LP con 3 tour in USA e 2 europei, tra cui una speciale sessione SXSW con
Daytrotter, sono tornati a Seattle con una ricchezza di materiale nuovo. Il lato A del nuovo EP Dig Your Grave
contiene due brani registrati a Seattle al Soundhouse Studio di Jack Endino. È stato prodotto da Brandon
Eggleston che è noto per il suo lavoro con Modest Mouse, Swans e Les Savy Fav. Yoder è stato anche in grado di utilizzare lo stesso amplificatore per chitarra dalla copertina dell’ LP dei Nirvana Bleach per l’assolo
in “Pines”. Il lato B contiene un demo registrato nella caserma dell’Isola del Governatore e una traccia
acustica del loro periodo a New Orleans. È un documento vario e variegato che offre uno sguardo nel loro

It’s been almost a decade since a young Scottie Yoder received a 4-track for his birthday and began turning out
poppy, energetic garage numbers with friend Brendhan Bowers in a shed on Vashon Island up in Washington
state. After classically-trained pianist Stefan Rubicz joined the pair in early 2007, they’ve been on a constant
schedule. The past few years, the band’s been alternating between the recording of 3 albums, a handful of
7”s and touring all over North America and Europe with acts varying from Japanther and Vivian Girls to Kimya
Dawson and Matt+Kim. They spent 2009 living in New Orleans where they recorded the LP Weekend for Park
The Van Records. Seattle’s The Stranger called it “the strongest, most consistent record the band has ever
made” that “continues to move even further away from their basement-punk beginnings, experimenting with
a more mellow, sometimes psychedelic sound laced with sweet harmonies.” The New Orleans Gambit stated
that “the LP plays out like a lost artifact from 1965 London” and that “The band’s formerly kaleidoscopic psych/
pop suddenly finds laser-guided precision, both musically and lyrically.” So after supporting the LP with 3 US
and 2 European tours including a special SXSW session with Daytrotter, they returned to Seattle with a wealth
of new material.

The Swamps sono un trio originario di Berlino/Lione. Alimentati dall’amore per il delta Blues e per la prima

stile unico. Elementi di blues primitivo si mescolano ai ritmi degli anni ’60 in un mix travolgente.
The Swamps are a trio based in Berlin / Lyon. Fueled by a love for Delta Blues along with a full blast of early
Garage Rock. Formed in 2011, by spring 2012 they had developed their own unique sound. Elements of deep
blues along wid 60’s beat form a melange.

locale o a un ristorante. Egli ha anche una straordinaria abilità nello stabilire rapporti col suo pubblico in

The archetypal image of a bluesman, outcast from proper society and stalked by personal demons. The defining characteristic of Delta blues is instrumentation and an emphasis on rhythm and “bottleneck” slide. When
Holehouse arrived in a new town, he would play for tips on street corners or in front of the local barbershop or
a restaurant. Holehouse also had an uncanny ability to establish a rapport with his audience - in every town in
which he stopped, Holehouse would establish ties to the local community that would serve him well when he
passed through again a month or a year later. Ok these things where written about Delta Blues Musicians of
the 1920’s and 1930’s but sums up what i am trying to do now. I travel I play music for music’s sake. It has its
roots in the delta blues with my own personal twist on it. I live by my rules and those rules are best summed up
by something a friend of mine from Winnipeg told me once. Creativity, Adventure and People. Things I will not
do Appear in my own music videos! Have my name or face on a shirt! Sell my soul! I enjoy playing music, if you
want me to come to your town play get in touch. Let the good times roll!

Cantautori irriverenti, esperti strumentisti e consumati uomini di spettacolo, la band The two man Gentlemen ha turbinato da una costa all’altra per una mezza decade, guadagnandosi una reputazione strabiliante
nei circuiti di musica roots e retro. Un duo formato da una chitarra – tenore e un basso nella tradizione dei
grandi Slim & Slam in cui si inserisce l’occasionale banjo pirotecnico (Andy bean e Fuller Condon hanno
infatti un’evidente affezione per il jazz americano precedente alla guerra e lo swing occidentale. Il senso
decisamente contemporaneo dei loro testi e le improvvisate battute, spesso ridicole, che insaporiscono i
loro spettacoli si combinano con la musica in una commistione assolutamente moderna.
Dopo l’incontro al College e alcune esperienze in gruppi rock and roll amatoriali, Andy e Fuller diedero
origine alla band The Two Men Gentlemen nel 2004 che si esibiva rigorosamente in strada. Per tre anni,
quando il tempo lo permetteva, hanno suonato maratone musicali al central Perk di New York. Dopo aver
sviluppato la loro azione in strada, The Gents crebbero velocemente fino a essere considerati i migliori
nel loro genere. The Two Men Gentlemen stanno ora lavorando più instancabilmente che mai e nel 2014

The Two Man Gentlemen Band has been barnstorming from coast to coast for half a decade, developing a
reputation as a must-see live act on the roots and retro music circuits. A tenor guitar and string bass duo in the
tradition of the great Slim & Slam - with the occasional pyrotechnic banjo feature thrown in - Andy Bean and
Fuller Condon have an obvious affection for pre-war American Jazz and Western Swing—but they’re no period
piece. The decidedly contemporary feel of their lyrics and the hilarious, often ridiculous, improvised banter
that peppers their live shows combine with the music for a thoroughly modern ruckus. After meeting in college and playing in various amateur rock and roll groups, Andy and Fuller began The Two
Man Gentlemen Band in 2004 strictly as a street-performing outfit. For three years, whenever the weather
permitted, they played marathon sets in New York City’s Central Park (with occasional forays into the city’s
subway system). After developing their act on the streets, The Gents hit the road for good in 2007 and quickly
grew to be regarded as a premiere touring act in their genre. Despite having recently relocated to dual home
bases in Los Angeles and Charleston, SC, The Two Man Gentlemen Band is working together as effortlessly as
ever. Come 2014, the band will return to its steady diet of national and international touring (with appearances
at major festivals and countless clubs in the works), and begin work on a new full-length album. Having fully
realized their musical identity as a duo, The Gents will be expanding their line-up with additional musicians
both on stage and in the studio. But fear not, no name change is in the works: duo, trio, quartet, or octet, they

visti per crederci. Se c’è un processo per farlo non troppo
certosino, si prega di condividerlo, perché sembra veramente
impossibile! Che sia lavoro di un mago o di un scrapbooker,
l’esito finale è comunque una cover art eccellente. Se qualcuno è mai stato deluso da qualche lancio precedente di Alien
Snatch non sarà deluso da questo.
Rollicking, 60’s-inspired, garagey rock’n roll. Bouncy, light
hearted tunes ideal for jovial dancing and the drinking of the
beer. The cut-out stickers on the cover and A side of the record
are to be seen to be believed. If there’s a process to doing this
that isn’t maddeningly detail-oriented, please share, because
it seems down right impossibile! Whether the work of a wizard
or a skilled scrap booker, the end result is top notch cover art.
Anyone who has ever been stole on a previous Alien Snatch
release will not be disappointed by this one.
