Europea, per informazioni bibliografiche e brevettuali, di
partecipazione alle riunioni settoriali, che si tengono presso la sede
A.I.F.M. e di interscambio con altre associazioni europee per
documentazione e visite.
A.I.F.M. è membro del CETS il Comitato Europeo dei Trattamenti di
Superficie, collabora con EAST, la Accademia Europea dei Trattamenti di
Superficie, con gli Istituti Universitari Italiani (in particolare con il
Politecnico di Milano) e con le maggiori riviste estere del settore galvanico.
In Italia si coordina con un rapporto di stretta collaborazione con le altre
associazioni del settore (AIM, AITIVA, AIV, ANVER, AssICC,
Assogalvanica, UCIF), partecipa a fiere specialistiche e organizza corsi e
seminari di aggiornamento. A.I.F.M. è membro associato UNI, con la
presidenza della sottocommissione Rivestimenti e Corrosione.

The services for members are:
Dedicated page on the website www.galvanotecnica.org - Free of
charge subscription to the magazine "Galvanotecnica e nuove
finiture" - Free information service supplied by experts and a
consultancy service at special fares - Discounts on the purchase of
books and technical documents edited by the Association and on
the registration rates for the participation to seminars, training
courses and trade shows organized or sponsored by the
Association - Download of free documentation from the website of
the Association - Access to European Data Banks, for bibliographic
or patents information - Participation to sectoral meeting and
connections with European Associations for the interchange of
documentation and visits.
A.I.F.M. is member of the European Committee for the Surface Treatment
(CETS), co-operates with the European Academy for Surface Treatment
(EAST), with the Italian Universities (in particular with Polytechnic of Milan)
and with the most important European surface finishing magazines.
In Italy, A.I.F.M. co-operates with the other sector associations ((AIM,
AITIVA, AIV, ANVER, AssICC, Assogalvanica, UCIF), and is present at the
specialised fairs and organises training courses and seminars
A.I.F.M. is member of UNI, the Italian body of standards, with the
chairmanship of the Coating and Corrosion Committee.
