Tennis Champions
in Milan
Harbour Tennis Cup is the only
international ATP tourney of the last
fifty years that takes place in Milan.
H
ere it comes again: the summery quality tennis in Milan.
After the cancellation of the
ATP indoor tourney played at
Palalido of Milan until January
2005, the new appointment expected from the tennis fan people is for next June 2006 at the
Harbour Club. In cooperation
with Makers Associates and under the direction of Massimiliano
Policastro of Harbour Club, the
tennis fields of Cascina Ballaria
will accommodate some of the
best players of the international
tennis circuit, for example the
series A-1 player Andrej Golubev,
19 years old from Russia who

will play for the Harbour team.
The tourney will take place in the
week from the 19 to the 25 of
June 2006; while on 17 and 18
of June there will be qualification tourneys. Winners of the
past editions like Lleyton Hewitt,
Rafael Nadal, David Nalbaldian,
Sebastien Grosjean, Gaston Joy,
Nikolay Davydenko and Richard
Gasquet, will add prestige to
the event emphasizing in this
way the international ability. During the week there will be many
events that will enhance the importance of the tourney , such as
the beneficence Tennis Pro Am.

the show, to the culture, to the
politics and to the journalism will
take part in. Harbour is the only
club participating to the A-1 series tennis championship, raising
Milan to international city. In occasion of the Harbour Tennis cup,
the club is more than pleased to
give its support in favour of the
National Committee for the Telefono Azzurro Aps-Onlus, which is
an organization close to Telefono
Azzurro with specific tasks and
duties, in order to meet the requirements of
the childhood
and youth, taking advantages of
the activities carried out from
their own volunteers.

Pro Am, che vedrà la partecipazione di
celebrità dello spettacolo, della cultura,
della politica e del giornalismo. Harbour, oltre ad essere l’unico club che
partecipa al campionato di tennis serie
A-1, innalzando Milano a città internazionale, con il progetto Harbour Tennis
Cup, s’interessa anche di solidarietà. Il
torneo si caratterizza, infatti, per le
orna a Milano il tennis estivo di
qualità. Dopo la cancellazione del
torneo ATP indoor che si giocava al Palalido di Milano fino allo scorso gennaio
2005, il nuovo appuntamento atteso da
sportivi e appassionati di tennis è a giugno, all’Harbour Club. In collaborazione con Makers Associati e sotto la direzione di Massimo Policastro di Harbour
Club, i campi di terra battuta di via Cascina Ballaria
ospiteranno alcuni tra i migliori giocatori del circuito di
tennis internazionale, tra cui
il diciannovenne russo di serie A-1 Andrej Golubev, che
giocherà per la squadra dell’Harbour. Il torneo si svolgerà nella settimana dal 19
al 25 giugno 2006, preceduto da tornei di qualificazione

che saranno svolte in favore del Comitato Nazionale per il Telefono Azzurro
Aps-Onlus, organizzazione che si affianca a Telefono Azzurro con specifici

dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza, avvalendosi delle attività prestate dai propri
volontari.
