Trevira CS at MoOD Brussels 2016
The fibre manufacturer Trevira is making an appearance at the new fair location in
Brussels, based on its tried and tested concept and working together with a total of
eleven partners. As in recent years, Trevira CS yarn partners Vlnap from the Czech
Republic and Lei Tsu (Italy) are presenting their latest products at MoOD Yarns, while
Trevira itself will be on show on the Trevira CS Contract Square, along with nine fabric
manufacturers.
Trevira has further extended its range of spun-dyed yarns with new developments,
including melange hybrid yarns for stiffened textiles. In the collections a noticeable trend
is evident towards more colour and this is reflected in the supply of new fibre and
filament yarns. Trevira and its yarn partners are also offering an extensive selection of
melange yarns, reflecting the natural shades which continue to be topical.
At the end of the first half of 2016 the fibre manufacturer on balance expresses its
satisfaction with business. With their strong Trevira CS customer base in Western
Europe, home textiles are doing well, and there is increasing activity in Asia, which also
has the support of the network of Indorama Ventures, the majority owner of Trevira.
Increasing numbers of enquiries are coming from India, Pakistan and China. These
orders, however, are subject to the special brand policy for Asia, whereby the fabrics
produced there are destined for the regional market.
Besides the continuing good business in hybrid yarns, filaments show a rise in standard
polyester activity in the home textiles sector – there has been an increase in volume,
mainly in filament yarns for velvets.
Flame retardant Trevira fibres and fibre yarns are gaining more and more ground in
technical applications, accompanied by a steadily rising demand for spun-dyed qualities
– which is translating into positive results in sales figures. Here the base lies in
customized development projects aimed at joint exploitation of market potential in
Europe, North America and Asia.
Trevira CS Contract Square 2016 – the new fabric highlights
At MoOD Trevira’s fabric partners are once again offering trade visitors a whole series
of innovative fabric constructions, interesting looks and colours.
Baumann Dekor (Austria) celebrates its centenary this year and is bringing gloss and
glamour to the world of textiles with its new collection. Using a great variety of fancy
yarns, different weaving techniques and fresh colour ranges, it has created collections
like Luxury, Rough, Opulence and Precious: the very names underline the new concept.
All the textiles on display, from heavy furniture fabrics to light decorative materials, are
made in Austria. They are manufactured exclusively from Trevira CS – and are
therefore suitable for the contract market.

Engelbert E. Stieger (Switzerland) is presenting a Trevira CS collection in modern,
elegant single colours. They include top-quality drape and light decorative materials,
articles with the linen look and attractive mélange effects. A variety of techniques, such
as leno cloth and scherli, extend the range of these outstanding qualities.

FIDIVI (Italy): The highlight in FIDIVI‘s range of upholstery fabrics is the new Langhecollection in Trevira CS, with 33 brilliant colours in widths of 140 cm. These robust
qualities in weights of 420 g/m2 have high resistance to abrasion (to 50.000 Martindale
cycles). The irregular surface structure of the articles is further accentuated by the use
of two different yarn colours.

Mario Cavelli (Italy) is presenting in its Retex collection new and very light transparent
Trevira CS curtains in strong colours, giving an iridescent effect. Also new is the
decorative fabric collection Ispra Fiammato, an etamine article in slub yarns in widths of
340 cm, supplied in a variety of pastel shades.

Mersem (Turkey): The weaver from Bursa supplies the hospitality-sector with
upholstery and curtain fabrics, drapes and print qualities. With in-house product
development, Mersem offers a sample service. Trevira CS is used for part of its
collection of decorative and upholstery fabrics, which also contains permanently
antimicrobial Trevira CS Bioactive qualities.

Pugi (Italy) is enhancing its range of velours in 100% Trevira CS with Velluta U, a
collection of articles with the creased look, very reminiscent of qualities in natural fibres.
The collection is available piece-dyed and in a wide range of colours and it is also
possible to meet special requests in terms of colour, both in small meterages and at
short notice. The strengths of this upholstery fabric lie in its elegance and simplicity.
Always on the look-out for new fancy yarns and looks, Pugi is also presenting Iguana C,
a collection of upholstery fabrics with an innovative appearance and quite special feel.
The material is double-sided. One side is smooth, with an attractive silkiness, while the
other is woolly and semi-dull. Individual piece-dyeing is also possible within short
delivery times.

Spandauer Velours (Germany) specializes in high-value velour and is displaying a
wide collection of top-quality decorative and upholstery fabrics, catering particularly for
the contract market.
Velvetex (Italy) is presenting its velour digital print qualities, offering a wide variety of
possible designs. Other important product ranges include piece-dyed jacquard velours
and plain velours in the cotton look. Both collections are available in a wide variety of
shades.

Wintex (Italy) brings to Brussels a wide range of Trevira CS drapes and curtains. New
developments include soft draping fabrics with metallic effects and interesting 3D
structures created by stripes of loose threads.

MoOD Yarns
The twister Lei Tsu (Italy), offers one of the most comprehensive programmes in flame
retardant yarns in Europe. Articles are available in crepe, fancy and mélange yarns, and
also air-textured. The titer range for the Trevira qualities extends from 25 dtex to 4000
dtex.

Vlnap (Czech Republic), making its fourth appearance at MoOD Yarns, is showing its
range of yarns for all applications in the home textiles sector. The collection of flame
retardant Trevira yarns covers more than 150 different articles, produced by the
worsted, semi-worsted and wool yarn processes. Further stages deliver twisted and
fancy yarns.

Quality, Comfort and Design: Chair manufacturer Brunstad from Norway presents its
new products. Brunstad stands for solid craftsmanship, excellent upholstery fabrics and
materials, combined with classic Scandinavian design. The furniture must be
comfortable, have appealing design, the right materials and fabrics to withstand use.
The hardwearing Trevira CS upholstery materials, supplied by Pugi, impress with their
fresh effects, special structures and pleasant handle.

Der Faserhersteller Trevira ist auch am neuen Messestandort mit seinem bewährten
Konzept und insgesamt elf Partnern in Brüssel vertreten. Auf der MoOD Yarns stellen
wie in den letzten Jahren die Trevira CS-Garnpartner Vlnap aus Tschechien und Lei
Tsu (Italien) ihre Neuheiten vor; auf dem Trevira CS Contract Square auf der MoOD ist
Trevira selbst gemeinsam mit neun Stoffherstellern präsent.
Trevira hat die Palette an spinngefärbten Garnen mit Neuentwicklungen weiter
ausgebaut, darunter auch Melange-Hybridgarne für versteifte Textilien. Bei den
Stoffkollektionen ist ein Trend zu mehr Farbigkeit zu beobachten, der durch das
Angebot an neuen Faser- und Filamentgarnen unterstützt wird. Außerdem bieten
Trevira und seine Garnpartner eine große Auswahl an Melangegarnen, die den nach
wie vor aktuellen Naturtönen Rechnung tragen.
Der Faserhersteller zeigt sich nach dem ersten Halbjahr 2016 insgesamt zufrieden mit
dem Geschäft. Der Heimtextilbereich mit seiner starken Trevira CS Kundenbasis in
Westeuropa läuft gut, und es gibt verstärkte Aktivitäten in Asien, auch unterstützt durch
das Netzwerk des Trevira Mehrheitseigentümers Indorama Ventures. Anfragen
kommen außerdem vermehrt aus Indien, Pakistan und China. Diese Aufträge
unterliegen allerdings der speziellen Markenpolitik für Asien, wonach die dort
produzierten Stoffe für den regionalen Markt bestimmt sind.
Bei Filamenten ist neben dem nach wie vor guten Geschäft mit Hybridgarnen auch ein
Anstieg des Geschäfts mit Normal-Polyester für den Heimtextilbereich zu verzeichnen –
vor allem bei Filamentgarnen für Veloure ist ein Mengenzuwachs zu verzeichnen.
Die schwer entflammbaren Trevira Fasern und Fasergarne werden zunehmend auch in
technischen Anwendungen eingesetzt, begleitet von einer stetig wachsenden
Nachfrage nach spinngefärbten Qualitäten, was sich positiv in den Absatzzahlen
niederschlägt. Kundenspezifische Entwicklungsprojekte bilden hierbei die Grundlage,
um gemeinsam zusätzliche Marktpotenziale in Europa, Nordamerika und Asien zu
erschließen.
Trevira CS Contract Square 2016 – die neuen Stoff-Highlights
Die Trevira Stoffpartner auf der MoOD bieten den Fachbesuchern wieder eine ganze
Reihe innovativer Stoffkonstruktionen, interessanter Optiken und Colorits.
Baumann Dekor (Österreich) feiert in diesem Jahr sein 100jähriges Bestehen und
bringt mit seiner neuen Kollektion Glanz und Glamour in die textile Welt. Durch den
Einsatz verschiedenster Effektgarne, unterschiedlicher Techniken in der Weberei sowie
neuer Farbwelten sind Kollektionen wie Luxury, Rough, Opulence und Precious
entstanden, die schon durch ihre Namen das neue Konzept unterstreichen. Alle
gezeigten Stoffe, ob schwere Möbelstoffe oder leichte Dekos, sind in Österreich
gefertigt. Sie sind ausschließlich aus Trevira CS hergestellt – und somit absolut
objekttauglich.

Engelbert E. Stieger (Schweiz) präsentiert eine Trevira CS Kollektion aus modernen,
eleganten Unis. Darunter sind hochwertige Gardinenstoffe und leichte Dekos, Artikel in
Leinenoptik und mit ansprechenden Melange-Effekten. Verschiedene Techniken wie
Dreher und Scherli erweitern die Bandbreite der anspruchsvollen Qualitäten.

FIDIVI (Italien): Das Highlight in FIDIVIs Möbelstoffpalette ist die neue LangheKollektion in Trevira CS, mit 33 brillanten Farben und in 140 cm Breite. Die robusten
Qualitäten mit einem Gewicht von 420 g/m2 weisen eine hohe Scheuerfestigkeit auf
(50.000 Martindale Scheuertouren). Die unregelmäßige Oberflächenstruktur der
Gewebe wird durch den Einsatz von zwei verschiedenen Garnfarben noch betont.

Mario Cavelli (Italien) präsentiert mit der Retex-Kollektion neue, sehr leichte und
transparente Trevira CS Vorhänge in kräftigen Farben und mit changierendem Effekt.
Die ebenfalls neue Dekostoff-Kollektion Ispra Fiammato ist ein Etamingewebe aus
Flammengarnen in 340 cm Breite, das in verschiedenen Pastelltönen angeboten wird.

Mersem (Türkei): Der Weber aus Bursa bedient den Hospitality-Bereich mit Möbel- und
Vorhangstoffen, Gardinen und Druckqualitäten. Mersem verfügt über eine eigene
Produktentwicklung und bietet einen Musterservice. Ein Teil der Kollektion von Dekound Möbelstoffen ist in Trevira CS realisiert. Sie enthält auch permanent antimikrobielle
Trevira CS Bioactive Qualitäten.

Pugi (Italien) bereichert die Reihe seiner Veloure in 100 % Trevira CS durch Velluta U,
eine Kollektion von Qualitäten im Knitterlook, die stark an Naturfaserqualitäten erinnert.
Stückgefärbt und in einer breiten Palette von Colorits verfügbar, können auf Wunsch
spezielle Farbwünsche, auch in kleinen Metragen, kurzfristig umgesetzt werden.
Eleganz und Schlichtheit, verbunden mit den technischen Funktionen, machen die
Stärken dieses Möbelstoffes aus. Immer auf der Suche nach neuen Effekten und
Haptiken, präsentiert Pugi außerdem Iguana C, eine Möbelstoffkollektion mit
innovativem Look und ganz speziellem Griff. Das Material kann als Doubleface
eingesetzt werden: Es ist auf der einen Seite glatt und mit seidiger Anmutung, auf der
anderen wollig und matt. Individuelle Stückfärbung innerhalb kurzer Lieferzeiten ist auch

Kollektion hochwertiger Deko- und Möbelstoffqualitäten, speziell für den Objektbereich.
Velvetex (Italien) präsentiert seine Velour-Digitaldruckqualitäten, die vielfältige
Designmöglichkeiten bieten. Andere wichtige Produktreihen sind stückgefärbte
Jacquard Veloure sowie Uni-Veloure im Baumwoll-Look. Beide Kollektionen sind in

MoOD Yarns
Der Zwirner Lei Tsu, (Italien) bietet eines der umfangreichsten Programme an schwer
entflammbaren Garnen in Europa an, darunter eine große Bandbreite an Crepe-, Effektund Melangegarnen und auch lufttexturierte Garne. Die Titerpalette der Garne für die
Trevira Qualitäten reicht von 25 dtex bis hin zu 4000 dtex.

Vlnap (Tschechien), in diesem Jahr zum vierten Mal auf der MoOD Yarns, zeigt seine
Garne für alle Anwendungen im Heimtextilbereich. Die Kollektion aus schwer
entflammbaren Trevira Garnen umfasst mehr als 150 verschiedene Artikel (Kammgarn,

Il produttore di fibre Trevira è presente anche presso la nuova sede della fiera a
Bruxelles, con il suo concept ormai affermato e insieme a undici partner. A MoOD Yarns
le aziende partner per i filati Trevira CS, Vlnap della Repubblica Ceca e Lei-Tsu (Italia),
presentano le loro novità così come hanno fatto gli anni scorsi. Al Trevira CS Square,
Trevira è presente insieme a nove tessitori.
Trevira ha ampliato e rinnovato la propria gamma di filati tinti in pasta, fra cui anche filati
mélange ibridi per prodotti tessili rinforzati. Per quanto riguarda le collezioni di tessuti, vi
è la tendenza verso una maggiore cromaticità, supportata dall’offerta di nuovi filati, fibre
e filamenti. Trevira e i suoi partner offrono inoltre una vasta gamma di filati mélange dai
toni naturali, sempre attuali.
Il produttore di fibre si mostra nell’insieme soddisfatto delle vendite nella prima metà del
2016. Grazie ai numerosi clienti Trevira CS in Europa occidentale, il comparto degli
articoli tessili per arredamento conferma il buon andamento; vi sono inoltre attività
intensificate in Asia, sostenute anche dalla rete di Indorama Ventures, proprietari
maggioritari di Trevira. Richieste giungono numerose anche dall’India, dal Pakistan e
dalla Cina. Esse sono tuttavia soggette alla particolare politica del marchio in Asia,
secondo la quale i tessuti prodotti in quei paesi sono destinati al mercato regionale.
Per quanto riguarda i filamenti, oltre ai buoni risultati ottenuti con i filati ibridi, da
segnalare un aumento delle vendite di poliestere normale nel settore dei tessili per
interni – soprattutto dei fili continui per velluti.
Le fibre e i filati ignifughi Trevira vengono impiegati sempre di più anche in ambiti
tecnici, accompagnati da una sempre più crescente domanda di tipologie di tinti in pasta
– influenzando così positivamente i dati delle vendite. Progetti di sviluppo creati in base
alle esigenze dei clienti, servono da impulso per dischiudere ulteriori potenziali di
mercato in Europa, America del Nord e Asia.
Trevira CS Contract Square 2016 – i nuovi punti di forza dei tessuti
Alla fiera MoOD i partner di Trevira offrono ai visitatoritutta una serie di nuove
costruzioni di tessuti, ottiche interessanti e colori.
Baumann Dekor (Austria) festeggia quest’anno i suoi cento anni di attività e porta, con
la sua nuova collezione, splendore e glamour nel mondo del tessile. Grazie all’impiego
di filati dagli effetti più disparati, a diverse tecniche di tessitura e a nuove colorazioni,
sono nate collezioni come Luxury, Rough, Opulence e Precious che sottolineano già
con il loro nome il nuovo concept. Tutte le novità presentate, sia i tessuti pesanti per
arredamento che tipologie più leggere per decorazioni, vengono prodotte in Austria,
esclusivamente con filati Trevira CS – e sono quindi assolutamente idonee al mercato
del contract.

Engelbert E. Stieger (Svizzera) presenta una collezione Trevira CS dalle tinte unite
moderne ed eleganti. Ne fanno parte tessuti pregiati per tende e decorazioni leggere,
articoli con struttura di simil-lino e con gradevoli effetti mélange. Diverse tecniche, come
il giro inglese o la tecnica Scherli ampliano la gamma di queste qualità preziose.

FIDIVI (Italia): Il pezzo forte della gamma di tessuti d’arredamento di FIDIVI è la nuova
collezione Langhe in Trevira CS con 33 colori brillanti e un’altezza di 140 cm. Gli articoli
più pesanti, con grammature di 420 gr/m2 garantiscono un’alta resistenza allo
sfregamento (50.000 giri Martindale). La struttura irregolare della superficie del tessuto
viene accentuata ancora di più dall’impiego di due diversi colori di filo.

Mario Cavelli (Italia) presenta con la collezione Retex nuove tende in Trevira CS,
leggerissime e trasparenti, in colori sgargianti e con effetto cangiante. L’altrettanto
nuova collezione di tessuti decorativi Ispra Fiammato è un tessuto etamine di 340 cm di
altezza con filati fiammati, disponibile in diverse tonalità pastello.

Mersem (Turchia): Il tessitore di Bursa fornisce il settore dell’ospitalità con tessuti per
arredi e tendaggi, tende e tipologie stampate. Mersem dispone di un proprio ufficio
sviluppo e offre un servizio di campionatura. Una parte della collezione di tessuti per
arredi e decori è realizzata in Trevira CS. Realizza anche articoli permanentemente
antimicrobici in Trevira CS Bioactive.

Pugi (Italia) arricchisce la collezione dei suoi velluti in 100 % Trevira CS con Velluta U:
un tessuto con effetto stropicciato, molto simile ad un velluto realizzato in fibre naturali.
Tinto in pezza e disponibile in una ampia gamma di colori; su richiesta possono essere
realizzate tonalità particolari in tempi brevi ed in minimi contenuti. Eleganza e
semplicità, unite alle funzioni tecniche, rappresentano il vero punto di forza di questi
tessuti per arredamento.
Sempre alla ricerca di nuovi effetti ottici e tattili, Pugi propone inoltre la collezione
Iguana C dal look innovativo e dal tocco veramente speciale. Il tessuto può essere
usato double face: da un lato è liscio e lucido, dall’altro lanoso ed opaco. Su richiesta

presenta un’ampia collezione di tessuti d’arredo e decorativi di alta qualità, per il settore
del contract.
Velvetex (Italia) presenta i suoi velluti stampati in digitale che offrono svariate
possibilità di design. Altre importanti collezioni includono velluti jacquard tinti in pezza e
velluti in tinta unita dal look „cotoniero“. Entrambe le collezioni sono disponibili in
un’ampia gamma di colori.

MoOD Yarns
Il torcitore Lei-Tsu, (Italia) offre una delle più ampie gamme di filati ignifughi di tutta
l’Europa, fra i quali troviamo una vasta offerta di filati crepe, fantasia e mélange, anche
testurizzati ad aria. La gamma dei titoli dei filati per tessuti Trevira CS spazia dai 25
dtex fino ai 4000 dtex.
