Nella nuova collezione, passato e presente si fondono ripercorrendo le origini e rinviando l’eco delle celebri
creazioni artigianali Venini. Protagonista della selezione Fall Winter 2016 è la collezione INCISI che omaggia la
creatività di Paolo Venini con inedite sovrapposizioni cromatiche.
I colori sono dominati dal nuovo Verde Menta e i vetri soffiati a tinte piene si contrappongono a creative
inclusioni di materiali in una continua sperimentazione dell’espressività del vetro.
La materia prende respiro nella collezione PALPITO, vetri preziosi in colore Cristallo con filamenti di metallo
che racchiudono bollicine d’aria. Sensazioni opposte nei contrasti dei vasi KOORI, la collezione disegnata da
Emmanuel Babled che alterna trasparenze a fasce in colore Cemento satinato.

tecniche che reinventa la materia
La collezione IDRIA reinterpreta l’antica funzione contenitrice del vaso mentre ANNI TRENTA dona nuove
forme a una serie che è nella storia del vetro.
Con PONENTE e MAESTRALE la nuova proposta Venini esalta i colori del mare e celebra la tecnica del
Sommerso che, insieme a Inciso e Fasce, ispira l’intera collezione.

Metamorphosis of shapes and colours in a game of
techniques that innovates the matter
In the new collection, past and present blend together retracing the origins and bringing the famous Venini artisan
creations back. Main product of the Fall Winter Collection 2016 is the INCISI collection that honors the creativity of
Paolo Venini with original chromatic overlays.
Colours are dominated by the brand new Mint Green and the blown glasses in rich hues are in contrast with the
creative inclusions of materials, in a continuous experimentation of the glass’s expressivity.
The matter seems to breathe in the PALPITO collection: precious in Crystal colour with metal fibers that have
air bubbles included into them. Opposite sensations are to be perceived in the contrasts of the KOORI vases, the
collection designed by Emmanuel Babled which alternates transparencies and Cemento satinato – coloured
(blazed gray-coloured) bands.
The IDRIA collection reinvents the old containment function of the vase, while ANNI TRENTA brings new forms to
a collection that is part of the history of glass.
With PONENTE and MAESTRALE, the new Venini offer enhances the colours of the sea and celebrates the
Sommerso technique that, with Inciso and Fasce, is the inspiration of the whole collection.
