Golden Goose Deluxe Brand was founded in 2000, joining the creative spirit of Francesca
Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo: a couple of young Venetian designers, outsiders of the
fashion system.
The aim of the Company has always been to distinguish itself from other brands of the
market in terms of product, distribution and communication.
Research, innovation and Italian sartorial tradition are the inspiring values of the Brand, that
has a refined and modern style, characterized by a light American taste, always maintaining a
strict connection with the world of art and design as accentuated by some collaborations
with the Venice Biennale.
Golden Goose Deluxe Brand today is the univocal expression of a real “lifestyle”.
GGDB Children Shoes project was born in 2009 with the intention of satisfying the biggest
desire of every child: to be dressed like mom and dad.
The birth of the first daughter of Alessandro and Francesca, Hanami Maria, inspired the
children collection.
“Ha”, the first syllable of the name, not only identifies the collection but reminds the
infants’ first smile. It is truly the research of that smile that animates this project from the
very beginning: part of the incomes are given to associations promoting initiatives to
support children in trouble.
Today the GGDB Children Shoes project, that reached a national and international success,
keeps the smile as central idea: the StarSmile becomes the logo of the new collection.
GGDB Children Shoes sneakers maintain the distinguishing features of the brand such as
quality, handcraft production and inimitable vintage effect treatments, always with
an inspiration taken from the men and women GGDB collections.
