RIBBONS AND PREFORMS
Our Company is particularly equipped to produce semifactured products, such as ribbons, cutted
preforms and washers made of cored or massive wire in Sn-Pb / Sn-Ag / Sn-Pb-Ag / Indium alloys,
etc.

Different sizes can be studied according to the Customer requirement (considering the alloy’s
mechanical characteristics).
Using ductile alloys like Sn60-Pb40 or Sn50-Pb50, it is possible to produce cored ribbons with
different cores colophony based, according to the specific needs.
PREFORMS
Starting from ribbons as above specified, it is possible to
obtain preformed elements by means of cutting, in the shape of
disks, squares, rectangles, washers or complex geometries on
request.
CORED OR MASSIVE WASHERS
In case of cored or massive washers, the simplest producing
method consists in moulding the washer, starting from the
wire. It is necessary to respect some standard parameters,
quoted in the following list that correlates the wire’s diameter
with the internal washer’s hole.
