A jewellery collection inspired by the cinema, with springtime colours

While Italy continues to celebrate the success of Paolo Sorrentino’s film The Great Beauty,
the Bulgari jewellery maison launches a collection entirely inspired by Rome’s Dolce Vita
period of the 1950s and 60s.
Diva – this is the collection’s title – is a tribute to all the grand stars which during those years chose masterpieces crafted by the Roman master-jeweller to adorn their own beauty
on and off the film-set, like Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman and Gina Lollobrigida.
The twenty-eight pieces proposed by Bulgari are characterized by their unusual colouring,
which mix hues that evoke springtime, and their use of brilliant cabochon cuts, as well as
by the extreme flexibility which allows them to adapt perfectly to the bodies of all those
lucky enough to wear them.

Bellezza, la maison di gioielli Bulgari lancia una collezione interamente ispirata alla Dolce
Vita romana degli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta.
Diva, questo il nome della collezione, è un tributo a tutte le grandi star che in quegli anni
hanno scelto i capolavori della maison romana per adornare la propria bellezza dentro e
fuori dal set cinematografico, come Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman e Gina Lollobrigida.
I ventotto gioielli proposti da Bulgari si contraddistinguono per l’uso inconsueto del colore,
con accostamenti che attingono dalla gamma cromatica della primavera, e per l’utilizzo di
pietre levigate cabochon, oltre che per l’assoluta flessibilità dei pezzi, pronti ad adattarsi
al corpo di chiunque abbia la fortuna di indossarli.
