One hour of easy walking from Scopello to Tonnara dell’Uzzo.
Visit of the small town of Castellamare del Golfo.
Lunch in a typical “Trattoria”.
Transfer by bus from Palermo to Scopello.

Program
8:30
Departure from Palermo.
9:30 Arrival to Scopello, the visitors start the walk in the Naturalistic Reserve of Zingaro,
admiring some elements of the Mediterranean Scrub such as dwarf palms, the only European
species of palm touching the blue water coves.
11:00 Stop by the Uzzo cave, prehistoric site of great importance. Just beyond the cave the visitors
can reach one of the coves for a swim in our wonderful sea.
12.30 On the same steps towards the village of Scopello.
13:45 Lunch in a typical Sicilian “Trattoria” of Scopello where we can have "Pani cunzatu".
15:00 Transfer to Castellammare for a walk in the historical centre.
17:00 Back to Palermo and arrival at about 06:00 p.m.
Notes: Trek level: low; about 2,30 hours of the total travel time. The excursion takes place on
sunny paths, so we recommend sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. Transfer by bus.
Included: Transfer by bus, specialized staff (ONG), lunch and tickets to Naturalistic Reserve.
