Domus Academy nasce a Milano nel 1982 come prima scuola post-universitaria
di Design in Italia e come progetto aperto attorno all’esperienza del Design e della
Moda italiani. Premiata nel 1994 con il Compasso d’Oro per la qualità del suo approccio
accademico e di ricerca, nel 2009, per il terzo anno consecutivo, Domus Academy
è stata inserita da Business Week nella classifica della 60 migliori scuole di Design
al mondo. Dal 2012 al 2016 è stata inserita da Domus Magazine tra le 100 migliori
scuole di Design e Architettura in Europa e dal 2012 al 2014 da Frame tra le 30 migliori
scuole post-graduate di Design, Architettura, Interior Design e Fashion al mondo.
Dal dicembre 2009 Domus Academy è entrata a fare parte di Laureate International
Universities. L’offerta didattica dell’accademia comprende 10 master nei campi
del Design, Moda, Business e Architettura, frequentati da studenti di tutto il mondo.
Domus Academy was set up in Milan in 1982 as the first postgraduate design school
in Italy and as an open project revolving around the experience of Italian design
and fashion. The 1994 winner of the Compasso d’Oro for the quality of its academic
and research approach, in 2009, for the third consecutive year, the Domus Academy
was included in Business Week’s guide to the world’s top 60 design schools. From 2012
to 2016, it was included in Domus Magazine’s guide to Europe’s top 100 schools of
architecture and design. From 2012 to 2014 it was included in Frame’s guide to the world’s
30 leading graduate schools of Design, Architecture, Interior Design and Fashion.
In December 2009, the Domus Academy became one of the Laureate International
Universities. Domus Academy offers 10 Master programs in the fields of Design,
Fashion, Business and Architecture, attended by students from around the world.
