Cari colleghi,
Dear Colleagues,
negli ultimi anni la psoriasi è diventata una malattia
che richiede sempre più impegno. In realtà, è ormai ampiamente
riconosciuto che la psoriasi non si limita alla pelle ed alle
articolazioni, ma coinvolge anche altri organi e tessuti.
Di conseguenza, colleghi di altre specialità stanno mostrando
un crescente interesse per questa malattia.
Queste considerazioni ci hanno portato a promuovere un incontro
internazionale per discutere e condividere le direzioni future
della psoriasi. Pertanto, dermatologi leader in questo settore
condivideranno la loro esperienza su vari aspetti: dalla ricerca
di base ai progressi delle terapie. Essi “toccheranno” vari “hot
topics” – tra cui le nuove conoscenze nella genetica , i meccanismi
patogenetici e la gestione della psoriasi – che stanno emergendo
accanto a una vasta gamma di nuove scoperte.
In recent years, psoriasis has become an increasingly
challenging disease. In fact, it is, now, widely recognized that
psoriasis is not only confined to skin and joints as other organs
and tissues may be involved. As a consequence, colleagues from
other specialties are showing a growing interest on this disease.
These considerations led us to promote an international meeting
to discuss and to share the future directions of psoriasis.
Therefore, leading dermatologists in this field will share their
expertise on various aspects ranging from basic science to
advances therapies. They will “touch” various “hot topics” including
new insights in the genetics, pathogenic mechanisms, and
management of psoriasis which are emerging beside a wide array
of new discoveries.
Inoltre, specialisti di altre discipline saranno invitati ad affrontare,
da una prospettiva futuristica, gli aspetti peculiari legati alla
psoriasi. Peraltro, la presenza di altri specialisti permetterà di
“catturare” i nuovi sviluppi nelle loro discipline.
I giovani colleghi, provenienti da tutto il mondo, saranno
più che benvenuti per presentare la loro recente ricerca, in forma
di presentazione orale o poster.
Questo incontro, ospitando opinion leader di fama mondiale
la cui ricerca si è focalizzata sulla psoriasi per molti anni,
sarà un’occasione fantastica e unica per aumentare le nostre
conoscenze sulla psoriasi e sui disturbi correlati.
Non meno importante, il clima in Aprile sarà sicuramente un plus.
Non vediamo l’ora di incontrarvi a Roma.

Moreover, specialists from other disciplines will be invited to
approach peculiar aspects related to psoriasis from a futuristic
prospective. The presence of other specialists will also allow to
“catch” new developments in their disciplines.
Young colleagues from all over the world will be more than
welcome in presenting their recent research either in form of oral
presentation or as poster.
This meeting will be a fantastic and unique opportunity
to increase our knowledge on psoriasis and related disorders,
hosting worldwide known opinion leaders whose research has
been focused on psoriasis for many years.
Last but not least, the weather in April will be surely a plus.

Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
Fiumicino is the major airport of Rome, where international departing and
arriving flights operate. From this air terminal, the F.S. Express Train to Termini
railway station is the most convenient transport for central Rome, reachable in
about 25-30 minutes. The Express train is available every 30 minutes. Regular
train service stops at the minor stations of Rome and the estimated time is 3060 minutes with a 20 minutes frequency.

If you drive from Northern Italy on the motorway A1, leave the motorway at
“Roma Nord” tollgate. Arriving from the South on the same motorway, leave at

major beltway linking the motorways and state roads leading to Rome. The
most important are Via Aurelia (to Pisa and Livorno), Via Cassia (to Viterbo and
Siena), Via Flaminia (to Umbria region), Via Appia Nuova (to Ciampino airport)
and Via Cristoforo Colombo (to Ostia).

programma formativo, nella misura del 100%, ed alla verifica dell’apprendimento.

ABSTRACTS
The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts of original
contributions to the Congress.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and may be selected for
either oral and poster presentation.
Abstracts should be submitted in English and sent to the Scientific Secretariat within 02/20/2015 - through the “Abstracts” section of this website.
Notification of acceptance or rejection by the Scientific Committee will be mailed to the presenting Author. Detailed information, guidelines and recommendations for oral or poster presentation, as well as time allotment, date, hour and
venue will be sent by e-mail to registered presenting Author within 03/02/2015.
ABSTRACT

Tutti i contributi scientifici pervenuti in tempo utile saranno selezionati e suddivisi tra comunicazioni e poster.
Gli abstract, in lingua inglese, dovranno pervenire alla Segreteria Scientifica,
entro e non oltre il 20/02/2015, esclusivamente in modalità elettronica tramite
la sezione “Abstract” di questo website.
La notifica dell’eventuale accettazione dell’abstract da parte del Comitato
Scientifico sarà inviata direttamente al primo Autore. Tutte le informazioni relative alla presentazione di comunicazioni e/o poster - sede, data, ora - saranno
inviate entro il 02/03/2015.
POSTER PRESENTATION
The poster size is 100 cm (height) and 70 cm (width).
The posters will be displayed in the appropriate spaces, marked by a number
corresponding to the poster number, within 09/04/2015 at 12.00 and will be
removed within 11/04/2015 at 13.00.
The Organizing Secretariat will provide the equipment to post them up and it
will not be responsible for posters that aren’t removed on time.
NORME PER LA PRESENTAZIONE DEL POSTER
I poster dovranno avere dimensione di cm 100 in altezza e di cm 70 in larghezza.
I poster dovranno essere affissi negli appositi spazi, contraddistinti da un numero corrispondente al numero del poster, entro le ore12.00 del 09/04/2015
e dovranno essere ritirati entro le ore 13.00 del 11/04/2015.
La Segreteria fornirà il materiale necessario per l’affissione e non
sarà responsabile di poster non ritirati nei tempi previsti.

AUDIOVISUALS
Each room will be equipped with personal computers for the video presentation. The slides should be prepared with the program Windows PowerPoint – not Macintosh / Apple - with 800x600 or 1024x768 resolution. The
presentations should be delivered on pendrive or CD-Rom. It is not allowed
to use your own computer.
The delivery of the slides to the Slide Center will be made in time before the
corresponding session.
SUPPORTI AUDIOVISIVI
Ogni sala sarà provvista di personal computer per la presentazione in videoproiezione dei lavori. Le slide dovranno essere preparate con il programma
Power Point di Windows - non Macintosh/Apple - con risoluzione 800x600

Relatori sono pertanto pregati di attenersi scrupolosamente ai tempi
assegnati.
