L’equazione è chiara, l’Arte sta al Cibo come la validità dell’esclamazione inversa sta ad una tacita
verità.
In pieno periodo Expo meneghino 2015 torna a Milano la fotografa Patrizia Calegari dopo il successo
ottenuto l’anno passato. Decide di farci riflettere in modo del tutto originale su una tematica fin troppo
trattata : Il Cibo.

The equation is clear, the art is to food as the validity dell’esclamazione reverse is an unspoken truth.
In full period Milanese Expo 2015 returns to Milan photographer Patrizia Calegari after the success
of the past year. He decides to make us think in a completely original way of a subject treated too:
The Food.

It does so with great poetry, showing us how food nourishes the art and how finally she is food for the
soul, for the feelings or much more explicitly to satisfy our senses.
The exhibition unravels the entrance with an image of seeds ancient metaphor of nature but also the
ancestral symbol of fertilization. They manifest themselves photographs of places full of that nature
naturata (Giordano Bruno docet) as it produces its own reality as we see it. The artist Calegari captures intimate moments and cadence them with lights and shadows typical of his poetry and his original
style and personnel.
Lo fa con grande poesia, dimostrandoci come il cibo nutra l’Arte e come infine lei stessa sia cibo, per
l’anima, per i sentimenti o molto più esplicitamente per soddisfare i nostri sensi.
La mostra di dipana all’ingresso con un’immagine di sementi, metafora antica della natura ma anche
simbolo ancestrale della fecondazione. Si appalesano fotografie di luoghi ricchi di quella natura naturata (Giordano Bruno docet) in quanto produce la sua stessa realtà come la vediamo. L’artista Calegari
coglie attimi intimi e li cadenza con luci e penombre tipiche della sua poetica e del suo stile originale e
personale.
It comes to the fruits and flowers which are the elements that produce life from which are also produced; but the vision is lenticular, pedicle dare say. I like to think the idea underlying that leaves us astonished to realize how much sensitivity and personality may be behind a photograph of the Milanese.
Si giunge ai frutti e ai fiori che sono gli elementi che producono vita, dalla quale sono altresì prodotti;
ma la visione è lenticolare, peduncolare oserei dire. Mi piace pensare all’idea di fondo che ci lascia attoniti nel renderci conto di quanta sensibilità e personalità possa esserci dietro ad uno scatto fotografico
dell’artista milanese.
Nothing is left to chance, nothing is obvious, by the end, from the perspective of the focus of the image, until it reaches the light or dark in particular it concealed and deliberately inserted in composition
but often foreseeable only through a careful observation of the user.
Nulla è lasciato al caso, nulla è scontato, dallo scorcio, dalla prospettiva al fuoco dell’immagine, fino a
giungere al chiaro scuro o al particolare in esso celato e volutamente inserito nella composizione ma
spesso vedibile solo grazie ad un attenta osservazione del fruitore.
An explosion of blooms infused with life welcomes us from the front and let us feel almost floral scent
or even the hum of a bumblebee that solitary is allettandosi the moors of a place unknown but surreal
and full of pleasant expectations.
Un’esplosione di corolle intrise di vita ci accoglie frontalmente e ci lascia percepire quasi il profumo
floreale o addirittura il ronzio di un bombo che, solitario, sta allettandosi nella brughiera di un luogo sconosciuto ma surreale e ricco di aspettative piacevoli.
A sort of pantheistic view of Creation - but according to a meaning spiritual and not necessarily religious, ed. - Intensifies before our eyes and allow us to let us go to the simple pleasure of the senses.
Una sorte di visione panteistica del Creato - ma secondo un’accezione spirituale e non necessariamente religiosa, ndr. - si intensifica davanti al nostro sguardo e ci permette di lasciarci andare al semplice
piacere dei sensi.
Finally, the art becomes food in its culinary event, where the act of preparation (that is art everywhere)
is liturgical and generates a ceremony taste. The images we propose two prominent personalities
from the worlds gastronomy: the famous chef Eugenio Boer and Paola Buzzini (professional in the
field of contemporary and passionate cook); while they are engaging in the creative with the food; as
if to remind us of a live performance which soon will give us the tasting as a final act but the culmination of the rite.
Delicacy and abandonment of the senses are the formula of Patrizia Calegari that in this new art
project blends with great originality and intensity two worlds complement each other.
A veritable bacchanal that knows and needs to be propitious, as was customary since the days of
Ancient Greece, but in modern times; This is becoming the equation Art-Food-Art that involves us
with cunning and sophistication.
After participating in this delightful journey into the realm of the senses we just have to taste the “fruit
allegorical” that you are able to grasp based on the subjective feeling from which our senses are,
always and forever, generated.

Infine, l’Arte torna ad essere cibo nella sua manifestazione culinaria, dove l’atto della preparazione (che
è arte in ogni dove) è liturgica e genera una cerimonia gustativa. Le immagini ci propongono due personaggi di spicco, provenienti dal mondo gastronomico: il noto chef Eugenio Boer e Paola Buzzini (professionista nel campo dell’arte contemporanea e appassionata cuoca); mentre sono impegnati nell’atto
creativo con il cibo; quasi a ricordarci una live performance che presto ci farà dono dell’assaggio come
atto finale ma al culmine del rito.
Delicatezza e abbandono dei sensi sono la formula di Patrizia Calegari che in questo nuovo progetto
artistico sa coniugare con grande originalità e intensità due mondi complementari l’uno all’altro.
Un vero e proprio baccanale che sa e deve essere propiziatorio, come era consuetudine fin dai tempi
della Magna Grecia ma in epoca contemporanea; questo è il divenire dell’equazione Arte-Cibo-Arte che
ci coinvolge con astuzia e con raffinatezza.
Dopo aver partecipato a questo piacevolissimo viaggio nel regno dei sensi non ci resta che assaggiarne
il “frutto allegorico” che si è in grado di cogliere basandosi sulla sensibilità soggettiva dalla quale i nostri
sensi sono, da sempre e per sempre, generati.
