PROF. GIOVANNI FIORI
Born at Padova on 15-12-1961 and resident at 19, Via del Monte della Farina, Rome,
he was awarded a degree in economics and commerce from the Luiss University in
Rome in 1984. He is a certified accountant and auditor.
He was Vice President of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (Government
printers and national mint) from 2004 to 2007 and a Member of the Board of Directors of
Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana “Treccani” spa from 2005 until 2008. He has been a
member of the Boards of Statutory Auditors of Seat Pagine Gialle, Telecom Italia Media,
Gesac and other major Italian companies. He was also a member of the Board of
Statutory Auditors of the Bank of Italy from 2007 until 2016.
He is currently a full professor of Business Economics at the “LUISS - Guido Carli”
University Rome, a member of the European Accounting Association, Extraordinary
Administrator of Alitalia LAI SpA, Alitalia Servizi SpA, Alitalia Express SpA, Alitalia
airport Spa and Volare Spa, Extraordinary Administrator of Ilva Pali Dalmine S.p.A. in
extraordinary administration (the “Prodi-bis Law”), Ilva Pali Dalmine design
Community S.r.l. and Sidercomit Centro Meridionale S.r.l., Extraordinary
Administrator of La Scala S.p.A. in extraordinary administration (the “Prodi-bis Law”)
and Extraordinary Administrator of the companies Selfin S.p.A, Met Sogeda S.p.A. and
Met. Fin S.a.s. in extraordinary administration (the “Prodi-bis Law”).
He is a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Società Italiana degli Autori ed
Editori (SIAE – Italian copyright society) and Chairman of the Boards of Statutory
Auditors of the Foundazione Telecom Italia and of the Foundazione Ericsson.
He is also the head of a consulting firm at 24, via Giovanni Paisiello, Rome (Tel.

and qualified professionals who have worked for many years in various consulting
fields.
