Copenhagen: Blue Planet Aquarium
Situato sull’isola di Amager,
vicino a Copenaghen, il Blue
Planet, inaugurato nel 2013,
è il più grande e moderno
acquario nel nord Europa, con
un disegno a spirale unico al
mondo.
Progettato dallo studio danese
3XN, Blue Planet si ispira alla
geometria della natura, ed è
stato concepito per creare
l’avventurosa sensazione
dei pesci nel loro ambiente
naturale.
Per questo progetto Atena
S.p.A. ha realizzato tutti i
controsoffitti metallici con baffle
personalizzati in termini di
dimensioni, forma e finitura.

Situated on the island of
Amager, close to Copenhagen
Airport, the Blue Planet opened
in 2013 is the largest and most
modern aquarium in northern
Europe, with a spiral design
which is unique in the world.
Designed by Danish studio 3XN,
the Blue Planet Concept has
been inspired by nature, in this
sense it has been conceived
to create the adventurous
feeling of fishes in their natural
elements.
For this project Atena S.p.A.
has realized all baffle false
ceilings custom-made in size,
shape and finishing.

Baku Carpet Museum Arzebaijan

Il nuovo edificio del Museo del
tappeto dell’Azerbaijan, aperto ai
visitatori da settembre 2014, è
il tesoro della cultura nazionale.
Istituito per la ricerca, la
conservazione e la visualizzazione di
tappeti, moquette, oggetti e opere
d’arte applicata, il Museo ospita
la più grande collezione al mondo
di tappeti, con diverse tecniche di
tessitura e materiali.
Il Museo è stato istituito nel 1967,
e la prima mostra è stata aperta
nel 1972. Riconosciuto come
Patrimonio dell’UNESCO, il nuovo
edificio è stato concepito per
rappresentare l’alto valore artistico
e culturale di questo luogo.
Made in Project, lo studio che ha
firmato il design degli interni, ha
scelto Atena per la produzione dei
controsoffitti; un sistema completo,
concepito in ogni dettaglio,
costituito da pannelli metallici su
misura che alternano superfici
liscie e forate, postverniciate di un
brillante color oro.
The new building of the Azerbaijan
Carpet Museum open for visitors from
september 2014, is the treasury of
Azerbaijan national Culture. Established
for researching, keeping and displaying
carpets and carpet items, as well as
applied art works, the Museum has
the most large collection of Azerbaijan
carpets in the world, of different weaving
techniques and materials.
The Museum was set up in 1967, and
the first exhibition was opened in1972.
Recognized as Intangible Heritage of
UNESCO, the new building has been
conceived to represent the high artistic
and cultural value of this place.
Made in Project, which signed the interior
design, chose Atena for the production
of the false ceilings; a complete
covering system conceived in every
detail, made up of long metal tiles with
both perforated and plain surface postpainted of golden powder coating.
