Matteo Spedicati was born in Cagliari in 1980. Grows his passion for music since he
was very young with the study of guitar. He spent his teenage time together with
friends between studio jams and garage bands, but in the years that following

his guitar riffs but also scores of other instrumental elements. As soon as he began to
attend the world of the european clubs, Matteo is especially excited for the minimalist
style of the period theta prevailed in the electronic music scene. In 2006 he released
his first single on Gumption Recordings of Darmstadt. From that moment he begins
a series of brilliant releases support by the most famous DJs and producers around the
globe such as Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin , Karotte and many others..He has
worked with Joseph Capriati on CMYK e Alchemy, with Alessio Mereu on Toy for
Boys, with Mr. Bizz on Tuning Spork and Resopal, with Mendo on Great Stuff. In
2008 together with Andrea Ferlin
Clarissa Hazel Duo project was born featuring organic and sometimes psychedelic,
strongly supported by Marco Carola, Luciano, Locodice, Ellen Allien. In 2010 he
founded the label Carillon with his friend Giuseppe Cennamo.
The ability of Matteo ad a dj are assured as his skills as producer, delivered by an
extremely personal selection and a very precise technique, which results in a musical
line that can shake any dancefloor maintaining always a good level of class and
sophistication

Matteo Spedicati nasce a Cagliari nel 1980. Inizia a coltivare la passione per la
musica sin da giovanissimo con lo studio della chitarra. Passa l’adolescenza insieme a
degli amici tra studio jam e garage bands, ma nei seguenti anni attraverso la
sperimentazione dei sequencer si accorse che non solo poteva comporre i suoi giri di
chitarra ma anche le partiture di altri elementi strumentali. Non appena inizia a
frequentare il mondo dei club europei, Matteo si entusiasma in particolar modo per lo
stile minimal che il quel periodo regnava nel panorama elettronico. Nel 2006 esce il
suo primo disco sulla Gumption Recordings di Darmstadt. Da questo momento in
poi inizia una serie di brillanti uscite supportate dai dj/produttori più famosi come
Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Karotte e molti altri… Ha collaborato con Joseph
Capriati su CMYK e Alchemy, con Alessio Mereu su Toy for Boys, con Mr. Bizz su
Tuning Spork e Resopal, con Mendo su Great Stuff. Nel 2008 insieme ad Andrea
Ferlin nasce il progetto Clarissa Hazel Duo caratterizzato da suoni organici e a volte
psichedelici, fortemente supportato da Marco Carola, Luciano, Loco Dice, Ellen
Alien. Nel 2010 fonda l'etichetta Carillon con il suo amico Giuseppe Cennamo.
Le capacità di Matteo come dj sono affermate tanto quanto le sue abilità da
produttore, date da una selezione estramente personale e da una tecnica precisissima,
il cui risultato è una linea musicale in grado di scuotere ogni dancefloor mantendedo
sempre un buon livello di classe e raffinatezza.
