The fashion business is undergoing rapid
environmental changes, of ever-growing
intensity. Moreover, alongside business
uncertainty, a lack of freedom is also apparent.
Freed from the shackles of conventional values
and having to respond to such changes, we
need to reconsider, return to the origin and
continue to change; targeting further and
better progress. Realising this kind of fulfilling
universe means accumulating challenges while
constantly retaining our wisdom, inspiration,
experience and never-say-die passion – this is
the key. Infinite potential awaits. There is no
end to what we do - and this is where the great
significance lies.
The Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFW)
and The Japan External Trade Organization
(JETRO) shall jointly operate < The Japan
Observatory > in collaboration with Milano
Unica.
< The Japan Observatory > - a convergence
of specially selected Japanese companies
in business booths; totaling 40 companies
and groups, alongside PR and Trend booths
to showcase trends and an index presenting
highlighted fabrics from exhibitors.
We proudly introduce premium-quality
fabrics; the product of unprecedented
innovation and the spirit of craftsmanship. We
sincerely look forward to your visit.

dovendo rispondere a tali sfide, dobbiamo
ripensare alle nostre strategie, ritornare alle origini
e continuare a cambiare cercando di avanzare
nel migliore dei modi. Capire a fondo questo
importante concetto significa accettare le sfide
mantenendo saggezza, ispirazione, esperienza
e soprattutto passione. Questa è la chiave. Ci
Organization (JFW) e Japan External Trade
Organization (JETRO) hanno organizzato insieme
< The Japan Observatory > in collaborazione con
Milano Unica.
<The Japan Observatory> è costituito dagli
stand commerciali di 40 aziende e gruppi
giapponesi appositamente selezionati e da uno
stand di Pubbliche Relazioni del Giappone che
presenta tendenze e indici messi in evidenza dai
tessuti esposti.

the most outstanding featured products to show
our comprehensive understanding of upcoming
2018 spring/summer season’s fashion trend.
Visitors can meet various themes, colors, and
print patterns which have been designed for
2018’s new trend, by using pure materials
from Korea. Also clothes produced with these
materials will be displayed to help visitor’s
imagination about the final works.
And specially prepared products in “Small Order”
section and Quick Delivery items inside “See Now
Buy Now” section may satisfy visitors’ needs for
dealing with rapid change of fashion trend.
Also complying with the concept of Authenticity
of raw material, Functionality, Creative
combination, and Sensitivity of Texture, which are
the main trend of 2018 s/s, Korean exhibitors will
suggest various easily-usable textiles to buyers.
Korean companies participated in this season,
always make effort to upgrade their textile, and
concentrate on formulating natural textures through
developing new complexes produced with cotton,
linen, and acetate yard. Also to break down a wall
between sport wear and casual, they will suggest
various scratch materials or knitting materials which
could be applied to Athleisures and loungewears.
At the same time, they are continuously conjuring
new creativeness by combining own textiles. By
visiting Korea Observatory, you may also find an
answer about future-oriented and creative materials
after the experiencing delicately laminated and
coated products.

Milano Unica dal 1 al 3 febbraio 2017 ospiterà
l’Osservatorio Corea che vedrà protagonisti
22 aziende tessili di cui 17 riconfermano la loro
presenza mentre 5 partecipano all’evento per la
prima volta.
All’interno dell’Osservatorio Corea sarà allestito
un corner dedicato all’abbigliamento Made in
Korea che permetterà ai visitatori di trovare
ispirazione nella realizzazione di capi utilizzando
tessuti coreani. Le iniziative collaterali “small
order”, “see now buy now” e “quick delivery”
metallizzati e laminati.
