La nuova Mikron VX-10 raggruppa i vantaggi della lavorazione
su filo con la flessibilità di un centro di lavoro per la lavorazione
completa su 6 facce per pezzi con dimensioni fino a 40 x 40 x 80
mm. La tavola verticale viene posizionata tramite un motore torque
termostabilizzato in soli 0,4 s, con una precisione di ±2 µm. Con
il filo/barra serrato nella stazione di pre-lavorazione, in tempo
mascherato, avviene la lavorazione della parte frontale e delle
superfici sulle quali i morsetti della tavola transfer fisseranno
il pezzo dopo la separazione dal filo/barra. In seguito avviene la
lavorazione in “ciclo transfer” attraverso le successive 8 stazioni,
fino alla decima, quella di scarico. È possibile produrre diversi
particolari da un unico filo/barra e deporli in un selettore
automatico. Ogni stazione è equipaggiata con due unità di
lavorazione a 3 assi CNC fino a un totale di 18 unità in lavorazione
simultanea; in configurazione a doppio mandrino e doppio filo,
si hanno 32 utensili in azione simultanea. Le unità di lavorazione
possono essere dotate di mandrini orizzontali e/o verticali per
un veloce cambio ciclo. Grazie alla termostabilizzazione della
tavola e alla “misurazione in process”, la macchina corregge gli
scostamenti in real-time consentendo di ottenere
pezzi molto precisi, anche in condizioni di
temperatura variabile. In caso di cambio
ciclo, l’operatore deve soltanto richiamare il
programma CNC corrispondente. In caso di
sostituzione delle ganasce di fissaggio pezzo,
la macchina misura la loro esatta posizione
ed effettua una correzione automatica dei
punti zero. La riconfigurazione del sistema di
produzione Mikron VX-10 è veloce, dato che
le unità di lavorazione sono identiche e hanno
delle interfacce standardizzate; i mandrini
orizzontali e verticali sono facilmente
intercambiabili tra loro.

MACHINING
ON 6 SIDES
The Mikron VX-10 combines the advantages of “on wire
machining ” with the flexibility of a machining center
for 6 side machining and workpiece dimensions up to
40 x 40 x 80 mm. The double bearing vertical rotary
table is positioned by a thermo-stabilised torque motor
within 0,4 s with an accuracy of ±0,002 mm. While the
workpiece is clamped in the pre-machining station,
machining of the front side is carried out and of each
surface on which it will subsequently be held by the
rotary table clamping jaws. Like the subsequent sawing
off from the wire or bar, this is done parallel to the main
process time. Then the rotary table cycles the workpieces
through the next eight stations until the tenth station, the
final station. In a single run, the machine can produce
different work pieces simultaneously from the same bar
or wire material, and assign them automatically to the
correct boxes in a sorting station.
At each station between the loading and unloading
station, there is a CNC machining unit on both sides of
the rotary table. All 18 machining units can be equipped
with horizontal and vertical spindles; up to 34 tools
can work simultaneously. On the basis of “In Process
Measurements”, the machine corrects dimensional
deviations long before these reach the tolerance limits.
Each of the two horizontal spindles can have identical
tools mounted. If a tool fails, or becomes worn, the
sister spindle can therefore be substituted without
interruption. On the other hand the wire feeding, and
hence the productivity, can be doubled. If production
is to be changed, all the machine operator needs to
do is to call up the appropriate CNC program. It is
equally simple to reconfigure the mechanical area.
When changing the clamping jaws on the rotary table,
the machine measures their exact position and carries
out an automatic correction of the zero-points. The 18
machining units have standardised interfaces and can be
replaced as modules.
