Good range of informative talks - from the archeology of the region to
maximising the visitor numbers to your blog. Long lunches to allow good
chat! Location was superb.

Q4. What did you dislike about the weekend?

Tom Rankin's talk (sorry, not for me), timetable over-run, not enough water
available. Would have been nice to have had enough time in the evening to
have a freshen up before dinner.

Time keeping could be improved (limit questions, invite speakers to keep to
their slots), speeches by politicians and the Regione people were out of
place

Some of the speakers were disorganized and didn't provide enough practical
examples. Attendees want to feel that they're listening to experts and a few
of the speakers didn't come across that way. It would have been valuable to
have our blog evaluated but there wasn't time. Perhaps Sam or Roddy could
have taken each of us individually for a break-out session.

Great to see SSS however a location with easier transport (Sulmona or
Chieti) would be good. Plus a third day so sessions can have plenty of time.

It's been many years since I left my little Abruzzo house. Besides the
conference, it was thrilling to return to the Abruzzo - the last time I was here
was right after the quake for a concert by Riccardo Muti, and all was sad.
This made me feel hopeful, and I will follow up by tracking more closely
quake restoration.
