Il duo italo spagnolo Gracia Cumini progetta il divano Almo, diminutivo di
“almohada”, tradizionale e confortevole cuscino iberico che, con la sua forma
stretta, lunga e non troppo profonda, diventa anche pratico poggiareni e
bracciolo. Almo moltiplica in profondità l’effetto visivo del cuscino, generando
un ritmo armonioso di linee orizzontali. Il design dei fianchi, che si schiudono
morbidamente verso l’esterno e lo schienale alto, offrono una visione frontale
del divano aperta e accogliente.
The Italian-Spanish duo Gracia Cumini drew on inspiration from a typical
element in Spain in the fifties for design of the Almo sofa. Almo is short for
almohada, a traditional, comfortable Iberian pillow whose long, narrow, low
shape makes it perfect also as a handy lumbar cushion or armrest. Almo
multiplies the visual effect of the cushion in depth, generating a harmonious
series of horizontal lines. The design of the sides, which bloom softly
outwards, and the high back, give this sofa an open, welcoming look from the
front.
CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Struttura schienale e braccioli. In multistrato di betulla, pioppo e legno
tulipier. La flessibilità di braccioli e schienale è garantita da stecche in
acciaio armonico con tamponamento in gomma deformabile.
Backrest and armrests structure. Made of birch plywood, poplar and
tulipwood. The flexibility of the armrests and backrest is guaranteed by
spring steel sticks with deformable rubber infill panels.
Struttura seduta. In massello di faggio e pioppo, fianchi in multistrato di
betulla, tamponamenti in fibra di legno a media densità e fascia anteriore in
tulipier.
Seat structure. Solid beech wood and poplar, birch plywood sides, MDF infill
panels and front panels in tulipwood.
Molleggio seduta. Cinghie elastiche.
Seat suspension. Elastic belts.
Imbottitura. Schienale e braccioli: in poliuretano espanso e ovatta
poliestere. Seduta: in poliuretano espanso con rinforzi in feltro pressato e
ovatta poliestere.
Padding. The backrest and armrests are padded with polyurethane foam and
polyester wadding. The seat is padded with polyurethane foam, reinforced
with pressed felt and polyester wadding.
Cuscini poggiareni e bracciolo. In appoggio, sono imbottiti in poliuretano
espanso e ovatta poliestere.
Lumbar and armrests loose cushions. Padded with polyurethane foam and
polyester wadding.
Piedi. In nylon nero lucido.
Feet. Glossy black nylon.
Rivestimento. Interamente in Pelle Frau® o nelle opzioni che abbinano più
materiali. Il primo rivestimento viene applicato alla struttura mentre il secondo
alla seduta e ai cuscini.

two materials. The first upholstery mentioned below is used for the structure
while the second one is used for seat and cushions.

Dettagli estetici. Cuciture tono su tono. Dettagli metallici in finitura color
canna di fucile opaco applicati lateralmente alla cornice sotto seduta.
Aesthetic details. Tone-on-tone stitching. Metal details, with a matte
gunmetal grey finish, are applied laterally to the frame under the seat.
