Now a regular at InfoComm, Faital Sales Manager Flavio Naggi explained that Faital Pro is present in the U.S. market through a subsidiary based in New Jersey, and participates at the exhibition above all for the chance which it provides to meet large numbers of customers and suppliers in a single event. North America was the first market in which the company presented the new Faital Pro brand, which was created specifically for the professional audio sector between 2005 and 2006, and is currently the brand which is recording the strongest growth, thanks to recognition on the part of consumers of the products’ characteristics of quality. The stand showed a rapid selection of the most representative elements from the company’s catalogue, which means Ketton polymer 1” dome tweeters and the 1.4” HF144, the 18XL1600, the company’s flagship product for low frequencies, a new version of the familiar 18XL1500, and a sub-woofer with 56mm of excursion, 1600W nominal RMS and a neodymium motor, and a 98 dB efficiency rating. Finally, the company was showing a mid-woofer which is enjoying success in various markets, including in the music market in guitar and bass amplifiers: it is a 12” woofer with a 65 mm voice coil capable of delivering 300W nominal RMS. www.faitalpro.com This historic Italian company (since 1949) came to InfoComm in line with its intense ongoing internationalisation project to go in search of new markets and face new realities, as its Commercial Director, Alberto Ruozzi, explained. The American market is certainly important and very competitive, and RCF has set up a branch to have as much control over the market as possible, and the results have justified this decision. At InfoComm, the company not only had a booth, but also a demo room for experiencing RCF, which is also appreciated in the U.S. as a “Made in Italy” product. The prestige of Italian products, Ruozzi explains, is also a constant challenge, because it creates expectations among customers for products which combine technology and elegance. RCF has historically been known in the U.S. for its transducers, but in recent years, and especially this year, efforts have been focused on the promotion of finished products such as the new TT+ line, the company’s technological flagship, which is enjoying good success. www.rcf.it 63
