DAVIDE DISCA
BIOGRAPHY
Davide Disca born in Niscemi (Caltanissetta), Sicily, on 21/11/1981.
In 1995 he had his first personal painting in Niscemi and neighboring countries.
In 1997 he moved to Piedmont, in Serravalle Scrivia (AL) and enrolled at the Institute of Art in
Acqui Terme (AL). Two years later, in the same Institute he won the 1st prize at the Regional
Competition for the Resistance.
He graduated from the Istituto d'Arte of Acqui Terme in 2002.
In 2003 he attended for one year the course of Restoration Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.
From 2004 to 2006 he worked at Disca of graphic companies and printing houses.
In 2006 he enrolled in the painting course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan, and
He devotes himself full time to painting.
In 2009 he participated in the "they will be famous " to Maimeri foundation, curated by Professor
Stefano Pizzi, and "Shipyard", exposure to Assab one space by Remo Salvadori in 2010.
In 2011, during the visit of Vittorio Sgarbi at the Brera Academy, Disca is selected from
same to participate in the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, Italian Pavilion,
Piedmont section.
He obtained a degree in painting in December 2011, with Professor Franco Marrocco, Remo
Salvadori, and vote of 110 cum laude.
In 2012 he collaborates with the “Gallery Art World", with headquarters in Milan, Positano,
Brussels, Miami, Hong Kong.
In September of 2013 it is part of the artistic movement -Ranking- ART-TRIMODERNITA'- exhibition
curated by Aldo Carrozza, inaugurated in Castel dell'Ovo- Naples.
The same year he moved Disca for three months in Miami (United States). He discovers Winwood,
the street art district. In February in 2014 in the gallery "Mi Art Gallery" in Miami opens his first
solo show in the United States.
In 2014 he participates in the TRIENNALE VISUAL ARTS TO ROME Last Paradise- Cloister of
Bramante (Rome) - Curated by Daniele Tedeschi.
In 2014 and 2015 he participated in the Show - Concept-SeaFair- mega yachts, downtown, port of
Miami (Florida).
In 2015 and 2016 he exhibited at the Contemporary Art Fair - ART PALM BEACH- West Palm Beach
(Florida),and Parma, Pavia, Naples (Italy).
Collaborating with the Art Gallery “Continental Gallery”, Beaulieu sur Mer, Monaco, in November
of 2016 participates in the Biennale Umam - EU Mediterranean Biennale of Modern Art. Palais de
l'Europe, Menton.
He currently lives and works in between Novi Ligure, Milan and Miami and collaborates with
important Italian and foreign galleries; among these there is the gallery "Mi Art Gallery" located in
Via Brera to the Historical Center, the "Continental Art Gallery" gallery that is located in Beaulieu
sur Mer, Monte Carlo.
