You can start the compulsory training only when you’re enrolled in the second year of
the Master degree, or when you'll have obtained 42 credits with your passed esams.
The training lasts 300 hours (=12 CFU)
You can start your internship at:
University of Padua, at the Psychology department or inter-dipartmental services
(LIRIPAC). In this case, your tutor will be a professor.
External hosting organisations, that should sign a training agreement with our
University. They can be in Italy or abroad and they can be public or private enterprises,
associations, sanitary centre, etc...
In this case there will be two tutors:
-A tutor appointed by the hosting organisation
-A professor appointed by the University, also call the Promoter,
In both cases, a psychologist tutor is not required.
Finding an hosting organisation

you can search on your own for an association, a hospital, a foundation,
etc in Italy or abroad;
you can check the list of available organisations at
https://elearning.unipd.it/scuolapsicologia and contact them directly;
you can check the internship offers boards in Italy and abroad at
(http://www.unipd.it/cercare-stage-italia; http://www.unipd.it/cercarestage-allestero) and apply to one or more of them. Companies may search
for particular job profile and you should fit them in order to be accepted.
The organisation may call you and ask for an interview. In this case, the
organisations may be not agreed upon yet.
If you are not sure about the agreement between our university and the
chosen organisation, you can write or call us to check it

There are no restrictions to make an Internship abroad. You can choose:
•the Country;
•the hosting organisation type;
•the Tutor at the hosting organisation.
You can go to Extra UE Countries if there are safe conditions according to the
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: check www.viaggiaresicuri.mae.aci.it
There’s not a list of available hosting foreign organisations.
You can contact [email protected], specifying the name of the
organisation you had in mind.
You can always introduce a new foreign enterprise, using the agreement

Internships abroad with
Erasmus+ programme
Students may go abroad and be awarded with a grant from 2 to 12 months for a traineeship,
during every study cycle.
Receiving organisations for traineeships can be public or private organisations.
WARNING: the Erasmus+ for traineeship programme is NOT the Erasmus+ for Study
programme.

Grant: If you are applying for a grant, you should apply to the specific Calls (in Italian)
You should always fill in the required documents before the beginning of the internship
even if you are gaining an Erasmus+ for traineeship grant, otherwise your internship won’t
be recognized.

1. The hosting organisation should register on-line .
2. We approve it and send them an email with username and password and
the instruction.
3. Once printed and then signed by their legal representative, the agreement
shall be sent to our Career service to be counter-signed.
This signed agreement should arrive to our Career service in two originals 2
weeks before the training starting date.
Otherwise, the experience shall not begin.
In case of public sanitary company, I may suggest to take information from
them as soon as possible. If they are not agreed upon yet, our service will
write to them to propose a deal.

Remember!
It’s necessary to handle the right documentation
for any kind of experience you want to start.
Otherwise, there is no insurance coverage and the
experience shall not be recorded in you
transcript.
Other possibilities - Academic recognition

If one of you have worked with associations, cooperative or have done
voluntary service (Servizio civile nazionale), you can ask for academic
recognition instead of the ordinary training.
These are extraordinary requests to be submitted to a Professor’s
Commission who will evaluate each case and consider the kin with
your university career.
The commission will consider:
working experiences lasting at least 6 months, attended at the same
place in the past 2 years
voluntary experiences lasting at least 9 months, attended at the same
place in the past 2 years

As a free experience, you haven’t to pursue a specific hour’s
amount.
In this case you won’t have it registered on your exams
transcript.
To start a free training, you must follow the same directions
shown a few slides up, as for the compulsory training. In this
case, you should choose stage libero – senza crediti and continue
the procedure.
