suicide of Frank Sweeney, a
parish priest and the expulsion of Daniel McLaughlin, a
young trainee priest from a
nearby seminary, on the
grounds that he was open to

male colleague. A local journalist, David Foley, is convinced that Sweeney’s death
and Daniel’s expulsion are
linked. Desperate to clear his
good name and be re-instated, Daniel agrees to talk
to Foley. As the story gathers

they earn money by pretending to communicate with
the dead. It’s a harmless
scam, but one that gets
increasingly
complicated
when a local gangster dies
and his family attempts to
communicate with him. For

read “downright dangerous”
when the dead gangster
actually makes contact.

L ocked in a dark basement, Laura, a psychiatrist in
her early thirties, contemplates
in horror a video where a man
confesses to be a serial killer.
His name is Ramon, an apparently normal man in his forties,
who seems to be quite harmless. Gagged and bound to a
chair, Laura realises that it’s
the same person who kidnapped her and who is now
pacing in the shadows. Ramon continues to speak as he
turns off the television. He
walks over to her, takes off the
gag and challenges Laura to
play the “Word Game”. If she
wins, she gets to go free, but if
she loses, he’ll poke out her
eye. Laura is terrified, but
reluctantly accepts. The game
begins. Laura makes a mistake. Ramon menacingly
moves towards her. Laura’s
screams are useless.

a parte i colleghi non ha

amici. Insomma, si può dire
che sia un vero egoista.
Fino ad oggi. Rispondendo
al telefono di una cabina telefonica, si ritrova coinvolto
in una situazione inimmaginabile: l’uomo dall’altra parte
della cornetta lo ha sotto tiro nel mirino di un fucile. Con la
vita appesa ad un filo, Stuart non può attaccare la cornetta,
non può lasciare la cabina telefonica e dovrà aggiustare le
cose storte della sua vita, oppure… bang bang… è morto!
