artigianali che hanno attinto la loro ispirazione produttiva proprio a quel patrimonio di cultura e di tradizione che da Asolo promana.
In the countryside that extends toward the Marca and
Bassano a wide network of artisan workshops has
formed in time, and whose productivity as been inspired precisely by that wealth of culture and tradition that Asolo emanates.
La Bamax, nata circa 35 anni fa in queste terre, continua a ricercare nei mobili che propone le sue radici e
lo fa anche perchè i suoi maestri ebanisti e patinatori
sono gli eredi di una tradizione sapiente ed antica.

cuore, per creare oggetti capaci di durare nel
tempo, al di là delle mode: Bamax continua a utilizzare la tradizionale lucidatura bassanese, l’unica in
grado di conferire al legno quel calore e quel fascino
che sono la caratteristica principale del mobile antico.

Le successive fasi di verniciatura e finitura avvengono
solo dopo un attento controllo del mobile grezzo. La
nostra tecnica di verniciatura e patinatura si perde nei
secoli: i nostri “Maestri Patinatori” se ne tramandano
i segreti ormai da generazioni. La tinta è a base di
terre naturali di varie colorazioni, miscelate con acqua.
Dopo una decina di passaggi e la stesura finale di cera
e gomma lacca, si ottiene una tonalità particolare che
rende i nostri mobili unici e inconfondibili.
The successive phases of painting and finishing take
place only after an accurate inspection of the rough
furniture. Our painting and varnishing techniques are
centuries old and our “varnishing masters” have been
handing down their secrets from generation to generation. All colours are obtained by mixing different
coloured earths with water and after roughly ten coats,
a final coat of furniture polish and shellac is given in
order to obtain a particular shade which makes our
furniture unique and unmistakable.

amax uses hands, mind and heart in order to
create products which last in time, aside from
fashion. Bamax continues to utilize the traditional
“bassanese” polishing, the only one able to give wood
that special glamour and feeling of warmth which are
the main characteristics of antique furniture.
All wood used for our furniture such as walnut, oak
and cherry, is adequately dried, evaporated and seasoned, thus assuring an excellent stability in time as
well as a long lasting quality.

ome è noto i fratelli Lumière furono gli inventori
delle “immagini in movimento”: nel dicembre del
1895 organizzarono a Parigi la prima proiezione
cinematografica, al Grand Café sul Boulevard des
Capucines.
Alla fine degli anni ‘90 un folto gruppo di registi, tra
cui Godard e Truffaut, si pose alla ribalta proponendo
un nuovo genere di cinema, la cosiddetta “nouvelle
Vague”. In sostanza Parigi e la Francia sono da sempre un punto di riferimento per i cultori del cinema e
più in generale dell’immagine.
Nella collezione Bourbon non poteva mancare un doveroso tributo a tutto ciò che è propositivo e all’avanguardia in termini di immagine e comunicazione.

s is well-known the Lumière Brothers invented
the “images in motion”. In December 1895
they set up the first cinematographic projection, in
Paris, at the Grand Café on the Boulevard des Capucines.
At the end of the 1950s a large group of directors, including Godard and Truffaut, stepped into the limelight offering a new style of cinema, the so-called
“Nouvelle Vague”. Paris and France have always been
points of reference for cinema lovers and more generally
for image.
The Bourbon collection pays tribute to all the new
trends and state of the art developments in terms of
image and communication.

great capitals of the world, antique furniture and
accessories from the 18th and 19th century are combined with eclectic accessories and laid out within a
very contemporary division of space.
Thus mirrors, lamps and seats do not form a classical
environment in the most trivial sense of the word but
rather a theatrical set where colors contribute to lending a strong character to the whole house. This is exactly what happens when the cherry wood Bamax
credenza is set against a wall painted in a strong cocoa

That’s exactly what Haussmann had in mind when he supervised the construction of the new city in
the mid nineteenth century, adding enriching urban furnishings and city lighting.
All these factors contributed to the continuing myth of the “Ville Lumière”. Such a context cannot fail to produce stimulation, suggestions and infinite hints. There is no problem translating into your own individual
language the beauty and quality you breathe as you simply wander around the city with no apparent destination.

imbolo di Parigi per eccellenza la Tour Eiffel è circondata da spazi verdi su entrambe le sponde
della Senna. Gli ampi viali che partono a raggiera da
Place du Trocadéro sono fiancheggiati da palazzi sobri
ed eleganti dell’epoca di Haussmann. Numerose sono

sponde della Senna, che si percepisce lo spirito ispiratore della collezione Bourbon, un insieme di forme sensuali, morbide, di linee bombate che si susseguono a
formare le strutture, i profili e le decorazioni. Anche
l’accostamento cromatico del legno di ciliegio con le
profilature in contrasto è chiaramente frutto dell’alternarsi di luce ed ombra, dei giochi di chiaroscuro percepiti passeggiando lungo i viali alberati che così
numerosi arricchiscono Parigi.

symbol of Paris par excellence, the Eiffel Tower is
surrounded by parks on either side of the Seine.
The large boulevards that start from Place du Trocadero are flanked by austere but elegant buildings
from Haussmann’s times. They are full of luxury boutiques that cater to a refined clientele that habitually
spend their time in this area. It is here, on the banks of
the river Seine, that one can truly perceive the spirit
that inspired the Bourbon collection. A succession of
sensual, soft, rounded forms that form structures, silhouettes and decorations. Placing the color of the
cherry wood next to its contrasting border is consistent
with the trend of alternating light and shade, continuing the games of chiaroscuro one can clearly perceive
along the tree lined boulevards, such a common and
enlivening sight in Paris.
