SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the
installation.
For safety, all work involving towbar installation (incl. electrical components) must
be undertaken
by skilled technicians.
Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares and fitted by
qualified staff.
It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to towing assembly.
The towball must be kept clean and lubrificated. For added safety, his diameter
(50 mm) must be checked at regular intervalls. If the towball measures less than 49
mm after selected readings across the diameter, the towball must be replaced with a
new one.
After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance
with the table.

Remove all mastic from contact points then paint with anti-rust paint. The
necessary holes are already existing
•

Remove bumper.
Remove the bumper beam and the B polystyrene covering that is on the bumper
beam. Discard the bumper beam.
Remove the spare wheel.
Remove the plastic covering from under the rear of the vehicle.
Remove the towing ring and the muffler support on the right side
Remove and discard the inner supports of the chassis rails both right and left.
Cut covering B as per dimensions as showed and locate it on the upper part of the
cross bar fitting it with double-sided tape or glue
If the vehicle has parking sensors remove the plastic covers on the cross bar
(position X).
Locate item A referring to holes 01 and tighten.
Tighten all bolts and nuts as per torque settings
Connect the wirings to the socket
Cut the lower plastic covering where it interferes with the system as showed.
Re-fit the towing ring and the muffler support.
Re-fit the plastic lower covering.
Re-fit the spare wheel
Re-fit bumper.
