Software Installation Instructions
The following instructions apply to the Avid® Studio Toolkit HD
universal installer. Your system should be turned on and external
hardware devices turned off.
For important information, see the ReadMe before you install the Avid
software. The ReadMe is available from the installation DVD. To view
the ReadMe files, you must have Adobe® Reader installed on your
system.
Before you Install Avid Studio Toolkit HD
Before you install Avid Studio Toolkit HD, you must have the
following installed on your system:
•
Windows Media® 10
To run an Avid editor, you must have Windows Media 10
installed on your system. If you have not installed Windows
Media 10, from the installation DVD, open the
WindowsMediaInstall folder and click wmfdist.exe.
•
QuickTime 7.0
Go to www.quicktime.com and follow the instructions provided.
•
Adobe Reader
•
An Avid editor
•
Sorenson Squeeze
Provided with your Avid editor.
•
Avid application key (dongle)
See the instructions “Important Information for Avid Studio
Toolkit HD Customers” to update your Avid dongle.
Installing the Avid Applications
Complete all instructions in the order presented. Avid recommends
that you install all applications from the Avid Studio Toolkit HD
installer, even if you only need to install a single application.
If you are performing an upgrade, you must choose to uninstall or
remove any previously installed applications when prompted.
You need to use an account with administrative privileges.

1. Make sure the Avid Mojo® or Avid Adrenaline™ is turned off.
2. Quit all active applications.
3. Insert the Avid Studio Toolkit HD installation DVD.
The Welcome Window opens.
4. Click Next.
5. Select your country in the Country Selection for License
Agreements window, and then click Next.
6. Enter your Customer Information, and then click Next.
The Choose Destination Location window opens.
7. Click Next.
The Application Data Location window opens.
8. Click Next.
9. Select the applications you want to install, and then click Next.
The Ready to Install the Program window opens.
10. Click Install.
Avid DIO and its components install.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions.
A message box opens stating that the driver has not passed the
Windows Logo testing; you can safely ignore the warning.
12. Click OK, and then click Finish.
Avid 3D and its components install. An error message box opens
stating that the DIO version installed on your system and this
version of the DIO do not match.
13. Click OK. (The version installed on your system is the correct
version. This error message box might appear again.)
14. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Avid FX and its components install.
15. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Avid DVD by Sonic and its components install.
16. Follow the on-screen instructions.
When all products have been successfully installed, the Install
Complete window opens.
17. Restart your computer, and then click Finish.
The installation is complete.

Les instructions suivantes font référence au programme d’installation

Installation des applications Avid
Suivez toutes les instructions dans l’ordre de présentation. Il est
recommandé d’installer toutes les applications du programme
d’installation Avid Studio Toolkit HD, même si vous avez uniquement
besoin d’une seule application.
En cas de mise à jour, vous devez choisir la désinstallation ou la
suppression de toute application installée par le passé quand l'invite
apparaît à l'écran.
Vous devez exécuter l’installation à partir d’un compte
administrateur.
1. Avid Mojo et Avid Adrenaline doivent être désactivés.
2. Fermez toutes les applications ouvertes.
3. Insérez le DVD d’installation Avid Studio Toolkit HD.
La fenêtre de bienvenue (Welcome) s'ouvre.
4. Cliquez sur Suivant (Next).
5. Dans la fenêtre de sélection du pays pour l'accord de licence,
sélectionnez votre pays, puis cliquez sur Suivant (Next).
6. Entrez les informations de votre compte client, puis cliquez sur
Suivant (Next).
La fenêtre de sélection de l'emplacement de destination (Choose
Destination Location) s'affiche.
7. Cliquez sur Suivant (Next).
La fenêtre d'emplacement des données d'application s'affiche.
8. Cliquez sur Suivant (Next).
9. Sélectionnez l’application que vous souhaitez installer, puis
cliquez sur Suivant (Next).
La fenêtre d’installation du programme s’affiche (Ready to
Install the Program).
10. Cliquez sur Installation (Install).
L'installation d'Avid DIO et de ses composants est lancée.
11. Suivez les instructions affichées à l'écran.
Une boîte de dialogue s'ouvre, indiquant que le pilote n'est pas
conforme Windows. Vous pouvez ignorer ce message d'erreur.

12. Cliquez sur OK, puis cliquez sur Finish (Terminer).
L'installation d'Avid 3D et de ses composants est lancée. Une
boîte de dialogue s'ouvre, indiquant que la version de DIO
installée sur votre système et cette version sont différentes.
13. Cliquez sur OK. La version installée sur le système est la version

Installieren der Avid-Anwendungen
Befolgen Sie alle Anweisungen in der angegebenen Reihenfolge.
Avid empfiehlt, sämtliche Anwendungen mithilfe des
Installationsprogramms für Avid Studio Toolkit HD zu installieren,
auch wenn Sie nur eine Anwendung benötigen.
Wenn Sie ein Upgrade durchführen, müssen Sie alle zuvor
installierten Anwendungen deinstallieren bzw. entfernen, wenn Sie
dazu aufgefordert werden.
Sie müssen ein Konto mit Administratorrechten verwenden.
1. Der Avid Mojo bzw. Avid Adrenaline muss ausgeschaltet sein.
2. Beenden Sie alle aktiven Anwendungen.
3. Legen Sie die Installations-DVD für Avid Studio Toolkit HD ein.
Das Begrüßungsfenster wird geöffnet.
4. Klicken Sie auf "Weiter" (Next).
5. Wählen Sie im Fenster "Länderauswahl für Lizenzverträge"
(Country Selection for License Agreements) Ihr Land und

6. Geben Sie Ihre Kundendaten ein und klicken Sie auf "Weiter"

wird geöffnet.
7. Klicken Sie auf "Weiter" (Next).
Das Fenster "Speicherort für Anwendungsdaten" (Application
Data Location) wird geöffnet.
8. Klicken Sie auf "Weiter" (Next).
9. Wählen Sie die Anwendungen, die Sie installieren möchten, und
klicken Sie auf "Weiter" (Next).
Das Fenster "Bereit zur Installation des Programms" (Ready to
Install the Program) wird geöffnet.
10. Klicken Sie auf "Installieren" (Install).
Avid DIO und seine Komponenten werden installiert.

11. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
Es wird eine Warnmeldung angezeigt, die darauf hinweist, dass
der Treiber den Windows-Logo-Test nicht bestanden hat. Sie
können diese Warnung ignorieren.
12. Klicken Sie auf “OK” und dann auf “Finish” (“Fertig stellen”).
Avid 3D und seine Komponenten werden installiert. Es wird eine
Fehlermeldung angezeigt, die darauf hinweist, dass die auf dem

Installazione delle applicazioni Avid

Instalación de las aplicaciones de Avid
Siga todas las instrucciones en el mismo orden que se presentan. Avid

Se abre un cuadro de diálogo que indica que el controlador no ha
pasado la prueba del logotipo de Windows; puede hacer caso
omiso de este aviso con toda tranquilidad.
12. Haga clic en OK (Aceptar) y, por último, en Finish (Finalizar).
Se instalará Avid 3D y sus componentes. Se abre un cuadro de
mensaje de error que indica que la versión de DIO instalada en el
sistema y esta versión de DIO no coinciden.
13. Haga clic en OK (Aceptar). La nueva versión instalada en el
sistema es la correcta. Es posible que este mensaje de error
aparezca de nuevo.
