L’ascolto della musica implica una partecipazione attiva dei sensi e del pensiero dell’ascoltatore. La percezione delle forme e delle
emozioni stimolano l’immaginazione personale a costruire percorsi e mete legate alla tessitura dei suoni, del loro timbro e ritmo. È il
“Teatro dell’ascolto”, un concetto sviluppato
dal Centro Ricerche Musicali - CRM nel corso
degli ultimi anni con le esperienze più avanzate dello studio in ambito acustico e psicoacustico, dove i protagonisti sono i suoni con le
loro trasformazioni timbriche, le localizzazioni e
gli spostamenti nello spazio, le riverberazioni
capaci di creare ambienti virtuali di ogni
grandezza.
Listening to music implies an active participation of
the senses and the mind of the listener. Perception of
the forms and emotions produced by the act of listening stimulates the individual imagination to devise
courses and objectives connected to the texture of
the sounds, of their timbre and rhythm.
It’s the “Teatro dell’ascolto” (Theatre of Listening), a
concept of Centro Ricerche Musicali - CRM which
was fully developed during the past few years with
highly advanced research experiments in the
acoustic and psychoacoustic fields. The term signifies
a theatre where the protagonists are the sounds with
their timbric transformations, localizations and movements in space, the reverberations capable of creating virtual environments of any dimensions.

The installations, designed by Michelangelo Lupone, propose simultaneous listening to international works
in different areas, each of which offers a typical environment of fruition so as to enable the public to interact and choose freely the most congenial place in which to listen.

I Master class in musica informatica, aperti a compositori, musicisti, operatori musicali, saranno tenuti da alcuni artisti e ricercatori presenti a Musica Scienza. Ciò consentirà ai partecipanti di avere scambi di opinione e un’esperienza diretta sulle tecnologie elettroniche utilizzate per le performances.
Master classes open to composers, musicians and musical operators will be held by some of the leading
artists and researches guests of Musica Scienza. This will allow the participants to exchange ideas and to
have practise with the electronic technologies used for the performances.
