THRAMA® LENS Technology
The THRAMA Technology is based on the fundamental concept of transmission, that is, on light selection filtering techniques which are aimed at reducing visual “noise” (diffused light) drastically
and intensifying the “signal” in order to optimize “visual information”. It can filter the first three prime colours in the visible light spectrum (blue-green-red, wave.lenght of 400 to 700 nm) in different
percentages thus increasing the chromatic contrast and optimizing the image central retina. They can be compared to the equalizers which are used in high-fidelity systems that can single out
even the most “muffled” or “compressed” music signals. Furthemore, it ensures total protection from UV rays thanks to special additives which can neutralize UVA and UVB rays up to the threshold
of visibility (400nm).
La tecnologia THRAMA si basa sul concetto fondamentale della trasmissione e cioè su tecniche di filtrazione selettiva della luce mirate a ridurre drasticamente il “rumore” visivo (luce
diffusa) e ad esaltare il “segnale” al fine di ottimizzare l’informazione visiva. THRAMA ha infatti la capacità di filtrare in percentuali diverse i tre colori primari presenti nello spettro della luce
visibile (blu-verde-rosso, lunghezza d’onda da 400 a 700 nm) aumentando il contrasto cromatico e ottimizzando così la percezione delle immagini da parte dei recettori visivi fondamentali
presenti nella retina centrale. Può essere paragonato agli equalizzatori utilizzati nei sistemi ad alta fedeltà che rendono riconoscibili anche i segnali musicali “impastati” o “compressi”
Garantisce una totale protezione dai raggi UVA e UVB fino alla soglia del visibile (400 nm).

CURVATURE
Sport sunglasses lenses are distinguished by their quality also according to a factor called “lens curve” that, as the term itself indicates, it shows the degree of curvature of a lens (measured
by the term “base”). The more a lens is curved, the better it is because a lens with a high degree of curvature not only better protects against external agents (see lateral sun rays or insects),
but most important, it ensures a perfect vision without any distortion of the images.
