La prima gara del nostro Racing Team sarà il 3 Febbraio, a La Conca (Italia) per la prima della
WSK Master
L’attività del nostro Racing Team è iniziata con due proficue giornate di test svoltesi sulla pista di
Lonato, il 23 e 24 Gennaio. Ad inaugurare la prima sessione di test 2013 del nostro Racing Team è
intervenuto anche un pilota d’eccezione, Michael Schumacher. Il sette volte iridato di F1 è stato protagonista
di due giorni intensi al volante del nuovo Racer EVK, spinto dal Vortex RVZ, fresco di nuova
omologa. Schumacher, come già accaduto l’anno passato, non ha voluto mancare a questa prima uscita del
nostro Racing Team e lo ha fatto con la sua consueta grinta e determinazione, compiendo un gran numero di
giri, lavorando intensamente a stretto contatto con la squadra e siglando tempi di rilievo! I test sulla pista
South Garda sono stati sostenuti dai piloti di KF, Karol Basz, Dalton Sargeant, Takashi Kasai e dal pilota di
KFJunior Mick Betsch. In quest’occasione ha fatto il suo debutto in KZ il Campione del Mondo di KF1 Flavio
Camponeschi. Per quest’ultimo la presenza di Schumacher e dell’esperto compagno di squadra Marco Ardigò
è stata un valido aiuto per scoprire i primi segreti della guida con il cambio di velocità. Nel prossimo week-end
vedremo, finalmente, in azione, in una competizione ufficiale, il Tony Kart Racing Team. L’appuntamento è
fissato sul tracciato italiano La Conca di Muro Leccese, per il primo round della WSK Master Series 2013. La
gara vedrà scendere in pista tutti i nostri piloti delle categorie KF e KF Junior. Per apprezzare in azione anche
i piloti della KZ dovremo attendere la Winter Cup di Lonato, dal 14 al 17 Febbraio. La gara di La Conca servirà
come primo banco di prova per valutare la preparazione della squadra in questa fase dell’anno e darà ai piloti
l’occasione di rientrare nel clima agonistico. Il test di Lonato ha permesso ai nuovi arrivati, Basz, Betsch e
Dalton di familiarizzare con lo staff del Racing Team e di coordinarsi con le metodologie di lavoro. Tutti i piloti
si sono detti soddisfatti del lavoro svolto e sensibilmente emozionati per aver potuto condividere questa prima
esperienza della stagione con il campionissimo!

- At Lonato (23th and 24th of January) Tony Kart-Vortex colours had their debut with the new drivers

- The first competition our Racing Team will attend will be on February, 3rd at La Conca (Italy) on the
occasion of the first round of the WSK Master
Our Racing Team’s activity began with two important test days held at the circuit of Lonato, on 23rd
and 24th of January. To celebrate the first 2013 test session of our Racing Team, there was an exceptional
driver, Michael Schumacher. The seven-time F1 world champion was the absolute protagonist of two intense
days at the driver of the new Racer EVK chassis, powered by the Vortex RVZ engine, just homologated.
Schumacher, as he did already on last year, did not want to miss the first training test of our Racing Team
and he attended the test session with his usual grit and determination, performing on many laps, fully
cooperating with the team and signing best lap times! The test sessions at the South Garda Circuit were also
performed by KF drivers, Karol Basz, Dalton Sargeant, Takashi Kasai and by the KF Junior category’s driver
Mick Betsch. On this occasion also the World Champion for KZ class, Flavio Camponeschi got his debut. The
support of Schumacher and of the experienced driver, teammate, Marco Ardigò was very precious to him ti
find out the secrets of the drive with the gearbox. On next weekend we will at last see the Tony Kart Racing
Team running an official competition, scheduled at the Italian La Conca circuit at Muro Leccese, for the first
round of the WSK Master Series 2013. The competition will see at the track all drivers of KF and KF Junior
categories, while to see KZ drivers in action we will have to wait for the Winter Cup at Lonato, on next
February, from the 14th to 17th. The round at La Conca will be a test bench to determine the team’s
competence in this time of the year and will be a further occasion for drivers to be running professionally. The
new-arrived drivers, Basz, Betsch and Dalton had the opportunity at Lonato to get familiar with the Racing
Team’s staff and to better understand the team’s working methods. All drivers said to be very satisfied with
the workd done and also very excited for the opportunity they have had to share their first experience of the
season with a very Champion!
