Congratulations on your Full Speed Ahead product. Please read these instructions and
follow them for correct use. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions could result in

accident resulting in injury or death. Since specific tools and experience are necessary for
proper installation, it is recommended that the product be installed by a qualified bicycle
technician.

Ensure that Bottom Bracket (BB) shell ⓞ is clean and free of metal chips, dirt and excess paint.
Using a circlip pliers, collapse circlip ① and insert into machined circlip groove in each side of the BB shell. Press bearings ② into BB shell until they are butted against the circlip ①.
Note:R. and L. bearings are the same.
Position drive side bearing shield ③ over right bearings with machined grooves facing inward, toward the bearings. Insert 2.5mm spacer onto right Crank spindle (2.5mm spacer is for
68mm BB shell only).
Completely insert the right crank arm and spindle through the right and left BB30 bearings ②. Position non-drive side bearing shield ⑤ over left bearings with machined grooves facing
inward, toward the bearings (non-drive side bearing shield is for 68mm BB shell only).
Self-extracting crank bolt assembly ⑨ and preload nut are pre-installed from factory. Install the left crank by precisely engaging the spindle hole of crank to spindle. Thread self-exracting
crank bolt into spindle using a torque wrench and 10mm allen. Tighten crank bolt to a torque of 450-550 kgf.cm / 45-55 Nm / 395-485 in.lbs.
Adjust preload nut ⑦ with 36mm spanner wrench to a torque of 70-90 kgf.cm / 7-9 Nm / 62-80 in.lbs to remove any play between crankset and BB assembly. Tighten preload nut set
screw ⑧ with 1.5mm allen to secure preload nut.
