Per il secondo anno consecutivo presentiamo la collezione Smith ID. Abbiamo messo in contatto i nostri atlet i migliori con il nostro team artistico per una spedizione visiva verso l’ignoto. Il viaggio ha richiesto mesi di preparazione: giri in park, messaggi, riunioni, telefonate, lunghe notti ed escursioni in tende e rifugi. Abbiamo addirittura coinvolto nel viaggio artisti esterni che sono
tornati da questa esperienza con creazioni artistiche mai viste prima…in altre parole, qualche simpatica grafica solo per voi.Questa è la dedica dei nostri atleti e dei nostri artisti, parte integrante della famiglia Smith.

look far to find exactly what he wanted in

Sage Cattabriga-Alosa
Sage’s own artwork is as far out as his
approach to big lines. Maybe this art, titled
Space Spines, is how mountains look to
Sage, a surreal landscape unimpeded by
gravity and reality.

Exploring humankind’s impact on the
planet, Abma recruited artist Justin Guse
aka Totemical from Vancouver, BC to
provide an insight into our connection to
nature. It’s a blurred line between science
and spirit. One side of the goggle is a
world suffering pollution, war, and decay.
The other side is a utopia of renewable
energy and subsistent farming.

Scott Stevens

Scott Stevens’ brain works differently. He
snowboards differently. He skateboards
differently. Its fun and wildly creative. And
to celebrate this we connected him with
artist and Senior Art Director of Girl
Skateboards, Andy Jenkins.
Jenkins, 20 years at the helm of Girl
Skateboards, also creates fine art collages
from the remnants of every day life. The
result is a complex collage of paint, scraps
of paper, and pages torn from Scott’s trick
journal; a graphic that reflects this union
of outlying perspectives.
Xavier De Le Rue
When you meet Xavier he’s a nice, friendly
dude. You don’t think, “hey this dude is
messed up in the head.” But then you see
his riding, and you know he is. He’s totally
in a different head space. So we sought
out artist Axel Geittman who’s artwork
would lead you to believe he’s also in a
different head space. Guess what?
He is. It’s a perfect match.
Elena Hight
Elena is a balance of progression and
keeping it classic. Double corks and boned
out methods. Power and beauty. She
wanted her ID to reflect that. A little
classic gold treatment is combined
with modern abstract art. Its good to
find balance.

Once again, free-spirit Austin Smith is
teaming up with Poler Camping Stuff to
heed the call of adventure and fun: the
Trilaboration continues.
Scotty Lago
Don’t think you have one of the best
snowboarders on the planet figured out.
Just when you peg Lago as nothing more
than a camo clad outdoorsman, he
brings the unexpected.
Scotty worked with Smith’s in-house art
team to create this distressed floral
pattern to keep you guessing.

Poler Camping Stuff makes simple, well
designed gear for people that are
travelers, couch surfers, real surfers,
skateboarders, road trippers, snowboarders,
bicyclists, and car campers. It’s stuff that
is made for people that explore the world
while wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and
sneakers. It’s for people having awesome
adventures in their own way.
Austin loves to roam the planet with a
board and a sleeping bag. Austin epitomizes
the Smith brand as a true free thinker.
