M° Matteo De Luca
Graduated in 2005 with honors from the Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi "in Milan. He studied from 2006 to 2007 with
Maestro Corrado Colliard at the Conservatorio "G. Cantelli "of Novara and in 2008 was admitted to the Master of
soloists in the studio of Andrea Bandini at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva. From 2007 to 2009 a member of
the USB Verbier Festival Orchestra, and in 2009 he won the competition for Principal trombone at the Royal
Philharmonic Orchestra in London. In September 2010 he won the competition for first trombone with the Orchestre
de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, a position he currently holds. He was invited as guest principal trombone in the
most important Italian and international orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Orchestra
Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, the orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala, the Berner Sinfonieorchestre, the 'Orchestra
Nacional do Porto, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. He won the first prize in competitions solo international Riddes (2007)
and Chieri (2006).

The course will be held on 13 and 14 April, at the address of Banda Filarmonica of Abbiategrasso in Via Alfieri 1, 20081
Abbiategrasso (MI).
The course is taught by M° Matteo De Luca and will be divided into collective and individual lessons depending on the number and
level of the participants and at the discretion of M° De Luca.
Course Structure:
April, 13:
9,00: Welcoming participants in Via Alfieri 1 at the seat of Banda Filarmonica and short introduction to the course by the organizers.
9.00 to 12.00: Collective Warm up
12.00 - 13.00: Lunch break
13,00 - 19,00: Individual lessons
19.30: Aperitif
April, 14:
9,00 Welcoming participants in Via Alfieri 1 at the seat of Banda Filarmonica
ore 9,30 - 12,00: Collective Warm up
ore 12,00 - 13,00: Lunch break
14.00: performance of students with delivery of certificates of participation.
16.00: Recital by M° Matteo De Luca as a soloist accompanied on the piano by M° Valeria Tonna.
Following a farewell buffet.
Registration and fee:
Regular student: 12 places available, individual participation fee € 120.00
Auditor students: 30 places available, individual participation fee € 20.00

Once you have received the confirmation via e-mail from the organizer, the student should improve within 5 days the registration by

Failure to attend the masterclass will not be able to refund the registration fee. The course will take if reach at least 8 members as
regular students. In case of cancellation of the course will be notified by e-mail no later than April 5. The costs of accommodation
and meals are the responsibility of the participants.
In case of cancellation of the course due to lack of the minimum number of participants, the registration fee will be refunded.
