a) With speed signal

a) CONNECTION WITH SPEED SIGNAL
only (ODOMETER)
It is possible to connect the speed signal
only, in addition to the +15 and GND. In
this way, the parking sensor turns on
when the speed of the vehicle is under
that programmed, for a maximum period
of 2 minutes; having exceeded the
programmed speed, the parking sensor
switches turn off.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is on, the system is deactivated
until the following restarting or the next
time the pushbutton is pushed; the
blinking of the LED indicates the
deactivation state.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is switched off, the latter is
switched on for a period of 30 seconds or
until the set speed is exceeded.
It is necessary to programme the
shutdown speed
(see programming
mode).
Connect the white wire to negative.
b) CONNECTION WITH REVERSING
SIGNAL only
It is possible to connect the reverse
signal only, in addition to the +15 and
GND. In this way, the parking sensor
turns on for a period of 30 seconds each
time reverse gear is disengaged; if
reverse gear is engaged, it switches off to
then come on again when reverse is
disengaged again.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is on, it switches off.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is switched off, the latter switches
on for a period of 30 seconds.
It is necessary to programme the
operation with reverse gear (see
programming mode).
Connect the white/black wire to negative.

c) CONNECTION WITH SPEED AND
REVERSING SIGNAL
The parking sensor switches on for a
period of 30 seconds each time reverse
gear is disengaged; if reverse gear is
engaged, it switches off to then come on
again when reverse is disengaged again.
If the programmed speed is exceeded it
switches itself off.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is on, it switches off.
By pushing the button when the parking
sensor is switched off, the latter switches
on for a period of 30 seconds or until the
programmed speed is exceeded.
It is necessary to programme the
shutdown speed (see programming
mode).
It is necessary to programme the
operation with reverse gear (see
programming mode).

PROGRAMMING MODE
SHUTDOWN SPEED PROGRAMMING
• Press the pushbutton.
• Switch on the ignition key keeping the pushbutton pressed down for 5 seconds Æ the parking
sensor switches on twice .
• Release the pushbutton Æ the LED on the pushbutton starts to blink slowly in order to
indicate the start of the programming mode.
• Reach the speed desired (e.g. 15 Km/h) Æ the LED must blink quickly in order to indicate that
the speed signal has been registered by the control unit.
• In order to store the speed, press the pushbutton Æ the parking sensor switches on once in
order to indicate that the programming has taken place.
• Switch off the ignition key or wait 5 minutes before exiting the programming status
OPERATING “WITH REVERSE GEAR” PROGRAMMING
Switch on the ignition key.
Engage and disengage the reverse gear 3 times.
One blink of the LED confirms programming has taken place.

EXCESSIVE SPEED WARNING
The APS 1 indicates to the driver that he is exceeding a previously set speed (for example: 130
Km/h on motorways). The indication takes place by means of 2 sound of the buzzer and the
blinking of the LED for 2 minutes.
This function activates only when the vehicle is travelling at a speed greater than
double the shutdown speed of the parking sensor (for example: 15 Km/h is stored as
the parking sensor shutdown speed, so over 30 Km/h the warning function can be
used).
In order to store the speed, it is necessary to press the pushbutton down for 3 seconds while
travelling at the desired speed; the buzzer will emit 1 confirmation buzz. The speed is stored
permanently.
It is possible to deactivate / activate the function by pressing the pushbutton down Æ LED
permanently lit up for function on, LED unlit for function off.
This function activates only when the vehicle is
travelling at a speed greater than double the
shutdown speed of the parking sensor
