APPLICATION FOR PUBLICATION - CONDITIONS
(cfr. D. Lgs. 42/2004 and subsequent modifications and alterations)
Publication royalities are not due in case of scientific periodicals or publications issued in less than 2,000
copies and with a declared cost inferior to € 77,47 - both conditions must occur simultaneously.
All other publications are liable to publication royalties
Royalty amount:
-) Publications in one language and circulating in one country:
€ 12,00 for each black & white photograph
€ 53,00 for each colour photograph
-) World rights:
€ 36,00 for each black & white photograph
€ 159,00 for each colour photograph
Ways of payment from outside Italy:
The advanced payment must be made directly to the Library BY MEANS OF a transfer order to the current
account of the Cassa di Risparmio of Florence Branch 101 (via Bufalini, 4/6 - 50122 Firenze) no. 112037 in
favour of the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana of Florence (IBAN IT96 F061 6002 8000 0011 2037 C00 BIC
SWIFT CRFIIT3FXXX) specifying that it is in payment of Publication royalties due to the Biblioteca
Medicea Laurenziana, according to the D. Lgs. 42/2004 payable to the Tesoreria Provinciale dello Stato,
Firenze, Capo XXIX, Capitolo 2584 art. 3 (copy of the receipt stating that the payment has been made must
be sent to the Director of the Library).
Ways of payment from Italy
Advanced payment must be made by going to the post office and transfering the amount due to the post
office current account no. 5512 addressed to the Tesoreria Provinciale of Florence - Capo XXIX, Capitolo
2584 art. 3 - Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana (copy of the receipt stating that the payment has been made to
the Director of the Library) OR BY MEANS OF a transfer order to the current account of the Cassa di
Risparmio of Florence Branch 101 (via Bufalini, 4/6 - 50122 Firenze) no. 112037 in favour of Biblioteca
Medicea Laurenziana of Florence (000112037 C00 CIN F ABI 06160 CAB 02800) specifying that it is in
payment of Publication royalties due to the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, according to the D. Lgs.
42/2004 payable to the Tesoreria Provinciale dello Stato, Firenze, Capo XXIX, Capitolo 2584 art. 3 (copy of
the receipt stating that the payment has been made must be sent to the Director of the Library).
The Library Director grants authorization to publish the reproduction/reproductions only once. The
publication rights thus obtained are not exclusive and not transferable. The reproduction/reproductions
obtained may not be republished without a further agreement with the Library's Director and the payment of
the necessary royalties. Published reproductions must have near the following credit:Firenze, Biblioteca
Medicea Laurenziana, ms. .............., c. .........Su concessione del Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali
e del Turismo. E’ vietata ogni ulteriore riproduzione con qualsiasi mezzo A copy of each publication with
illustrations depicting Laurentian manuscripts must be donated to the Library.
