Ora benedite il Dio dell'universo, che compie in ogni luogo grandi cose,
che ha esaltato i nostri giorni fino dalla nascita, che ha agito con noi
secondo la sua misericordia. Ci conceda la gioia del cuore e ci sia pace
nei nostri giorni in Israele, per tutti i giorni futuri. La sua misericordia
resti fedelmente con noi e ci riscatti nei nostri giorni.

Seconda Lettura - Second Reading: Acts 2:42-47 (Français)
The whole community remained faithful to the teaching of the apostles
and to the communal life, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers.
Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done
through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things
in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide
them among all according to each one’s need. Every day they devoted
themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking
bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity
of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every
day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
Erano assidui nell'ascoltare l'insegnamento degli apostoli e nell'unione
fraterna, nella frazione del pane e nelle preghiere. Un senso di timore
era in tutti e prodigi e segni avvenivano per opera degli apostoli. Tutti
coloro che erano diventati credenti stavano insieme e tenevano ogni
cosa in comune; chi aveva proprietà e sostanze le vendeva e ne faceva
parte a tutti, secondo il bisogno di ciascuno. Ogni giorno tutti insieme
frequentavano il tempio e spezzavano il pane a casa prendendo i pasti
con letizia e semplicità di cuore, lodando Dio e godendo la simpatia di
tutto il popolo.
