VRM SpA was incorporated in 2004 by bringing together a series of professional
skills obtained from several decades of experience in the motorcycle frames
sector. Currently VRM has a 20,000m2 production site with 15,000m2 of floor
space in our Zola Predosa plant (Bologna) and Ubersetto plant (Modena). Both
facilities are close to the A1 motorway and in the immediate proximity of the
main transport routes on the Modena-Bologna axis. The company’s activities
can be broadly grouped into: Design, construction and creation of prototypes;
Design and construction of production equipment; Precision machining of
aluminium, magnesium and steel components; Supply of preassembled groups
and loose components; Leak tightness testing. Our vocation and core area of
specialisation lies in the automotive industry, with annual production of several
hundreds of thousands of parts ready for assembly or for sale on the aftermarket.
VRM SpA nasce nel 2004 attraverso l’apporto di competenze professionali che
da decenni operavano nello specifico settore della telaistica motociclistica. Ad
oggi VRM può contare su una superficie produttiva di 20’000mq di cui 15’000mq
coperti, distribuiti su due siti a Zola Predosa (BO) e Ubersetto (MO). Entrambi gli
stabilimenti sono dislocati nelle vicinanze dell’autostrada A1, immediatamente
a contatto con le principali arterie di grande comunicazione dell’asse ModenaBologna. Le attività possono essere sinteticamente raggruppate in: Progettazione,
costruzione e realizzazione di prototipi; Progettazione e realizzazione attrezzature
di lavorazione; Lavorazioni meccaniche di precisione su componenti in alluminio,
magnesio e acciaio; Fornitura di particolari di assieme già premontati o smontati;
Prove tenuta. Il settore dell’automotive rappresenta la nostra principale attitudine
e specializzazione, con diverse centinaia di migliaia di pezzi annualmente prodotti,
pronti per l’assemblaggio o l’aftermarket.
VRM SpA wurde 2004 dank der Unterstützung von professionellen Kompetenzen,
die seit Jahrzehnten in der spezifischen Branche der Motorradrahmen tätig
sind, gegründet. Heute hat VRM eine Produktionsfläche von 20’000 qm, 15’000
qm davon überdacht, die auf die beiden Standorte Zola Predosa (Bologna) und
Ubersetto (Modena) verteilt ist. Beide Werke liegen in Nähe der Autobahn A1,
direkt verbunden mit den wichtigsten Verbindungsadern der Modena-BolognaAchse. Die Tätigkeiten können synthetisch folgenderweise zusammengefasst
werden: Entwicklung, Konstruktion und Realisierung von Prototypen; Entwicklung
und Realisierung von Arbeitsvorrichtungen; mechanische Präzisionsbearbeitung
der Komponenten aus Aluminium, Magnesium und Stahl; Lieferung von schon
vormontierten oder demontierten Zusammenbau-Teilen; Dichtigkeitsprüfungen.
Die Automotive-Branche stellt unsere bedeutendste Fähigkeit und Spezialisierung
dar, mit jährlich mehreren Hunderttausend hergestellten Teilen, fertig für die
Montage oder für den Aftermarket.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
VRM SpA works in strict respect for the environment, performing
constant production checks aimed at optimising recycling
of the materials employed. The company is firmly committed
to the use of renewable energy and the reduction of energy
wastage. All the production plants are air conditioned. We have
recently invested in installing water distillation systems.
VRM SpA opera nel rispetto dell’ambiente, con continui controlli
sulla produzione mirati ad ottimizare il riciclo dei materiali
impiegati. Grande l’impegno verso le energie rinnovabili e la
riduzione degli sprechi energetici. Gli stabilimenti sono tutti
muniti di raffrescamento. Recentemente si è investito anche in
impianti di distillazione delle acque.
VRM SpA verfährt umweltfreundlich, mit fortwährenden Kontrollen
der Produktion, deren Ziel es ist das Recycling der verwendeten
Materialien zu optimieren. Starke Verpflichtung zu erneuerbaren
Energien und Reduzierung der Energieverschwendung. Die
Werke sind alle mit Kühlung ausgestattet. Vor Kurzem wurde
auch in Anlagen zur Wasserdestillation investiert.

Robotised production lines with automatic loading, unloading
and palletisation, the latest generation of CNC machine
tools, horizontal/vertical multi pallet machining centres: 150
staff working over multiple shifts with more than 40 new
machining centres having varying technical and dimensional
characteristics to ensure very high production and qualitative
potential and exceptional levels of flexibility.
