Company
profile
Knikerboker nasce dopo anni di esperienza nel campo della moda,
il cui obiettivo principale era la ricerca dell’eleganza e raffinatezza tipiche del Made in Italy.
E’ dal connubio tra queste due sfere che nasce Knikerboker, il cui concetto distintivo è
rappresentato dall’enfasi che l’azienda mette nei progetti delle sue collezioni, composte
non semplicemente da lampade ma da sculture luminose uniche, mescolando diverse
sfere della creatività: arte, moda e design.
Riflesso e rifrazione creano un’atmosfera di suggestione, caratterizzata da una intrinseca
eleganza, nella quale le ombre, i riflessi e i bagliori offrono soluzioni adatte ad ogni tipo
di arredamento.
Knikerboker was born after many years of experience in the field of fashion, whose
principal aim was the research for elegance and refinement typical of Made in Italy.
It is from the union between these two universes that Knikerboker borns, whose
distinctive concept is represented by the emphasis that the company puts on the
projects of its collections, made not only of lamps but also of unique lighting sculptures,
blending different spheres of creativity: art, fashion and design.
Reflection and refraction create atmospheres of suggestion, characterized by a
physical and intrinsic elegance, where shadows, glares and flares offer solutions suitable
to any kind of furnishing needs.
Ursprünglich der Modebranche entsprungen, steht die Fa.
Knikerboker heute für Leuchten, die von Eleganz und Raffinesse, typische Merkmale
in der Modewelt für Made in Italy, geprägt sind.
Die Verbindung der beiden Welten, aus denen die Fa. Knikerboker entstand,
hat dazu geführt, dass sich die Kollektionen nicht aus Leuchten zusammensetzen,
sondern aus einzigartigen Lichtskulpturen, in denen sich verschiedene Bereiche der
Kreativität: Kunst, Mode und Design mischen.
Durch ihre faszinierend elegante Optik und ihr unglaublich atmosphärisches Licht
kommen die Designobjekte in jeder Art von Einrichtung zur Geltung.

Alle Produkte werden ausschließlich handgefertigt, jedes Stück ist ein Unikat, ein
selbständiges Kunstwerk.
Die Kunsthandwerklichkeit ist der Schwerpunkt. Die im großen Umfang hergestellten

L’acciaio appare come un materiale statico e inutile finché viene plasmato e
ripiegato su se stesso creando al suo interno, come uno scrigno che si
schiude svelando il tesoro o un’ostrica con un luminoso segreto, una luce che
irradia l’ambiente circostante.
Steel looks like an useless and static material until it is shaped and folded
on itself creating inside, as a casket which burst revealing its treasure or an
oyster with a lighting secret, a light which radiates the surroundings.
Der Stahl scheint wie ein starres und nutzloses Material bis er in sich
zusammengelegt wird und Gestalt annimmt.
In seinem Inneren entsteht daraufhin ein Schmuckkästchen, das sich öffnet
um den Schatz zu zeigen oder eine Muschel mit einem leuchtenden
Geheimnis, ein Licht, das auf die Umgebung strahlt.

we see a small part: the sky that lights up with stars and sparks during the night
and gathers different shades of color.
Verschiedene Formen, Farben und Dimensionen, endloses Weltall, von dem wir
nur ein kleinen Teil sehen: den Himmel, der nachts von funkelnden Sternen
erleuchtet wird und nimmt so unterschiedliche Facetten an Farben auf.

A TEMPO PERSO
Con un’attenta lavorazione artigianale, solidi ma leggeri pezzi di alluminio, cambiano consistenza
trasformandosi in morbide onde che, come quelle marine, sembrano muoversi delicatamente
sulla riva al soffio del vento e si riempiono di luci e colori per poi ritirarsi su se stesse.
With a careful craftsmanship, solid but thin pieces of aluminium change consistency turning into
smooth waves that, like the marine ones, seem to softly move on the shore to the wind blow
and fill with lights and colors and then retreat on themselves.
Durch die sorgfältige Handarbeit ändern die festen aber gleichzeitig leichten Aluminiumstücke
ihre Festigkeit.
Sie werden zu weichen Wellen, die wie die Meereswellen aussehen.
Wenn der Wind über das Wasser weht, bewegen sie sich auf die Küste und fühlen sich mit Licht
und Farbe, um dann sich wiederzurückzuziehen.

Sculture a forma di satelliti costituite da acciaio battuto a mano, color ghiaccio, l’aspetto
totalmente monocromatico in foglia d’oro, argento e bianco brillano nella loro luce riflettente.
Una luce monolito che raggiunge l’apice della sua forma grazie alla manipolazione esperta e
insostituibile che firma e controfirma il marchio KNIKERBOKER.
Satellites-scultures shaped malleable hand-wrought steel, color-icy, the total look
monochromatic in gold leaf, silver and total white shine with its reflecting light.
A monolith light that reaches the apex of its shape thanks to the skilful irreplaceable craft
manipulation who sign and countersign the brand KNIKERBOKER.
Blattsilber oder Blattgold Satellitenskulpturen, die aus dem handgeklopften Blech entstehen,
spiegeln das eigene Licht wieder. Ein leuchtender Monolith, der den Gipfel eigener Form
erreicht, dank der geschickten und unersetzbaren Handfertigung, die signiert und mit dem
KNIKERBOKER Label versehen ist.

Ripiegata sinuosamente su se stessa quasi a formare un cilindro luminoso, con punte rivolte ai due poli.
Gli abbinamenti cromatici, quasi serici, uniscono tipologie di cromature inusuali ed innovative, dal nikel nero
al cromo, dall’oro all’argento, dal rame al bronzo, con l’aggiunta del “total white”, cromia essenziale ed
elegante.
Sinuosly curved on its own figure as lightful cylindric shapes, with both tips turned towards to the two poles.
Nearly silky chromatic couplings join together innovative and unusual chromazying, from black nikel to
chrome, from gold to silver, from copper to bronze, with a dash of “total white”, essential and smart color.

inizio ma non si riesce a trovare il termine, “confondendosi“ con l’ambiente in
cui è inserita e adattansosi ad esso.
Confusione is reinvented in an endless vortex, where material has a beginning
but an ending can’t be found, “confusing“ with the background where it’s
placed and adapting to it.
Die Confusione wurde in einem Wirbel “SENZAFINE“ neu erfunden .
Das Material hat einen Anfang, allerdings findet man das Ende nicht, denn
die Leuchte verwischt sich in der Umgebung, in der sie positioniert wird und
gleicht sie sich ihr an.

The aluminium raw substance is bent, twisted and molded in cubic shapes
which start from small sizes and reach massive sculptures, creating with light

per farne sculture luminose seguendo le forme più strane e complicate.
Da qui sono nati oggetti fino a 25 metri di lunghezza ed i progetti più curiosi che si

Linea concepita per conservare e alimentare attraverso la luce al mercurio le piante durante tutto
l’anno solare, grazie a lampade dai bassi consumi energetici e un’illuminazione in grado di stimolare il
processo di fotosintesi.
Line conceived to preserve and feed through mercury light the plants during the whole calendar year
thanks to lamps with low energy consumption and a lighting able to stimulate photosyntesis process.
Ausgedachte Linie, um die Erhaltung und Versorgung der Pflanzen während des ganzen Jahres durch
das Quecksilber-Licht zu gewährleisten. Der niedrige Stromverbrauch und die entsprechende
Beleuchtung sind in der Lage, den Fotosynthese-Prozess anzuregen.

Il controllo delle lampade durante le fasi della produzione ne garantisce la totale qualità.
I nostri prodotti sono contrassegnati e sottoposti all’applicazione delle normative CE ed appartengono alla Classe I, in IP 20.
Knikerboker garantisce i propri prodotti secondo le normative stabilite dalla comunità europea, dalla data di acquisto.
La garanzia dà diritto alla sostituzione, riparazione gratuita di tutte le parti soggette a vizi di fabbricazione, escludendo danni arrecati
da rotture di trasporto, riparazione da terzi, danni o manomissioni e da uso improprio.
La garanzia esclude le lampadine, i trasformatori e gli alimentatori.
E’ escluso altresi’ il prolungamento della garanzia successivamente ad una riparazione del prodotto.
Nessuna responsabilità è assunta per danni accidentali a persone e/o cose in seguito all’uso improprio dei prodotti.
Dimmerazione:
Tutti gli articoli dimmerabili devono essere utilizzati con dimmer compatibili con le caratteristiche tecniche specificate sulle
etichette degli alimentatori/trasformatori.
Avvertenza:

The product is marked and submit to the European prescriptive and belongs to IP 20 in I Class.
Knikerboker warrantees these lamps, through the CE prescriptive from the date of purchase.
The guarantee gives the due of substitution, free repair of all the parts defective from the manufacture.
The guarantee does not apply to light, bulbs, transformers and power supplies shipping damage, damage resulting from
alternations, unauthorized repairs of service, misuse or improper maintenance.
This guarantee shall not be extended, subsequent to repair beyond the warranty period.
No responsibility is assumed for any accidantal damages to people and/or things arising out of the use or inability to use this product.
Dimming:
All dimmable items must be used with dimmers with the technical features specified on the labels of the power supplies/transformers.
Warning:

rame, a secondo del peso e della dimensione.
Le stesse possono essere verniciate nei colori: ottone, rame, nero opaco e total white.

Special finishings “on request”
All “Wire Collections” and “Confusione” can be realized in brass or copper wire based on weight and size.
The collections can be painted in: brass, copper, matt black and total white.

Spezielle Ausführungen “auf Anfrage“
Unsere “Drahtgeflecht-Kollektionen” und “Confusione” können aus Messing oder Kupfer – Draht gefertigt
werden, unter Berücksichtigung von Gewicht und Größe.
Dieselben können auch in folgenden Farben lackiert werden: Messing, Kupfer, Schwarz matt und Total White.

Alle Knikerboker Leuchten werden aus hochwertigen Materialien erstellt und einer aufmerksamen Endkontrolle unterzogen.
Die Kontrolle während der Produktion gewährleistet die Gesamtqualität. Unsere Produkte sind CE zertifiziert und gehören
standardmäßig der Klasse I, IP 20 an.
Knikerboker haftet für die eigenen Produkte gemäß der EU- Regelungen ab dem Verkaufsdatum.
Produktionsmängel berechtigen im Rahmen der Garantie zum Austausch oder zur kostenlosen Reparatur der beschädigten Teile.
Transportschäden, Reparatur durch Dritte, unbefugte Eingriffe oder nicht ordnungsgemäße Verwendung sind von
der Garantie ausgenommen.
Von der Garantie sind Leuchtmittel, Transformatoren und Betriebsgeräte ausgeschlossen. Ebenso ist die Verlängerung der
Garantie nach einer erfolgten Reparatur ausgeschlossen.
Für Schäden an Personen und/oder Sachen durch unsachgemäße Verwendung der Produkte wird nicht gehaftet.
Dimmbarkeit:
Für alle dimmbaren Produkte müssen Dimmer genutzt werden, die kompatibel mit den technischen Eigenschaften der
Trafos oder Betriebsgeräten sind.
Entsprechende Hinweise befinden sich auf den Etiketten.
Hinweise:
Knikerboker behält sich vor, eigene Produkte ohne Vorankündigung jederzeit zu modifizieren oder zu verbessern.
