Production capacity/facilities
SIRMAX produces compounds of PP, ABS, PS, PC/ABS, PC, POM, PA, PPO, PBT, PMMA, PPA, PPS and
color masterbatches. Considering all the productive facilities, 41 twin-screw extruders (ICMA – COMAC COPERION) are available, with outputs from 30 to 4000 Kg/h. Production runs continuously in three shifts.
The production facilities and warehouses are in Cittadella, Tombolo, San Vito al Tagliamento (Italy), Kutno
(Poland), Jundiaì (Brazil), and Anderson (Indiana - USA). Commercial offices are in Cittadella (PD-Italy),
San Vito al Tagliamento (PN-Italy) and Lainate (MI-Italy). Sirmax also opened commercial offices in Spain,
France and Germany.

Other company facilities
SIRMAX Group has got seven equipped laboratories for quality control, research and development. These
laboratories can control rheological, mechanical, chemical and physical characteristics of polymers,
according to ASTM and/or ISO standards. The instruments are checked and calibrated with fixed frequency.
The quality control laboratories release a certificate of analysis for each lot delivered to the customer.
SIRMAX has own trucks for the deliveries in the surroundings, while it employs professional transporters
for out-of-the-region deliveries. SIRMAX has mechanical workshops with a warehouse for plant
maintenance and spare parts in every facility.
Quality and Environmental management Systems
In 2000 SIRMAX SPA got the first ISO 9001 certification of its Quality Management System with DNV.
The certificate (n° 05854) will expire in February 2018. Since 2003 SIRMAX SPA has adopted and certified
an Environmental Management System with DNV, which is now compliant to UNI EN ISO 14001 (n° 768).
The ISO/TS 16949 certificate has been obtained with DNV for Cittadella in 2010, for Tombolo in 2012, for
Kutno plant in 2013. The Brazilian plant was certified according ISO 9001 in 2014. Updated copies of these
certificates are available at www.sirmax.it.

Granted that SIRMAX operates with certified management systems, we consider unnecessary to remember
that any request regarding the availability of documents, procedures etc. is satisfied.
For each delivered lot SIRMAX can send a certificate of analysis or compliance, and for each product a
technical data sheet is available.
Upon agreement the customers can audit Sirmax facilities and employees.
Suppliers and Customers
SIRMAX suppliers are the main petrochemicals and thermoplastic producers, such as Basellyondell,
Borealis, Total, Carmel, TVK, BASF, Versalis. The most important customers are manufacturing companies
in the fields of household appliance, automotive, electrical, electronic and technical items.
Relationship with the Customer
Days between order and delivery: average 20, depending on the kind of product. For every customer Sirmax
can reserve a safety stock in its warehouses, depending on the quantity delivered and the frequency of the
orders. The product is delivered in 25 Kg bags, big bags, octabins or autosilos. Payment conditions are fixed
in the quotation.
Use of the data above
This document is published only for the use of our customers, who are authorized to use these data
exclusively for the “evaluation of suppliers” as prescribed in the standard UNI EN ISO 9001. The data are
yearly updated by the quality assurance manager, who authorizes the publishing of this document without
signature.
Other data not reported in this document are considered not necessary for the “evaluation of suppliers”, so no
further information will be added besides those here exposed.
