Up to now motors with forced ventilation
were available only with frame sizes from
100 to 315. From now on,
those will also be available
for size 90, the extension
of the range for this variant covers both flameproof
motors and flameproof
motors with brake.
I motori con ventilazione assistita, finora,
erano fornibili solo nelle altezze d’asse da
100 a 315. D’ora in avanti, invece,
la servo ventilazione sarà disponibile anche per i motori con taglia

AB-AC 160 FreeWheel
Flameproof motor coupled to a counterflange freewheel (or backstop) that, with a
mechanical impediment, allows only one
direction of rotation to the motor. Is used
in the realization of winches for the movement of the rescue shuttles.

this time we highlight the new IECEx Certificates issued for flameproof motors with
brake from size 180 to 250. The certificate
120005X is related to the DB Series (means
group IIB) while the 120002X certificate
refers to the DC Series (group IIC). Those
certificates are in addition to all other previously issued and available on the website of the International Electrotechnical
Commission, at: http://iecex.iec.ch

The most important European chemical exhibition
will take place next month of June from 18th to
22th. Cemp will attend also this year with its own
booth of 48 square meters. We will present the IE2
motors, the
new IECEx
certificates
and the new

services: performance
analysis and
load capacity
curve calculation.

Engineering, a new Cemp service
I nuovi servizi Cemp di Ingegneria
Amongst the most important news that we will introduce at the next Frankfurt fair, there are the new
Engineering services that Cemp announced a few
months ago to all of its customers. In order to well
size the best solution, already on the offer phase,
we can provide the performance analysis of the
motor-machine system during the starting phase,
and display the overlap of the motor starter curve
and the torque load capacity curve. On side a
typical motor torque
curve (CM) and a hypothetical load torque
curve superimposed
(CL) the torque (Ca)
available to accelerate
the motor up to speed is
given by the difference
between motor torque
and load torque (CM CL). Considering the
load inertia, our technical department can calculate
the starting time of the full set, even in cases of
star/delta starting or reduced voltage.
Tra le novità più importanti che presenteremo alla prossima fiera di Francoforte ci sono i nuovi
servizi di Engineering che Cemp, da qualche mese, propone a tutti i propri clienti, che al fine di
dimensionare la migliore soluzione, desiderino,
già in fase d'offerta, effettuare l’analisi del comportamento, del sistema macchina-motore all’avviamento, e visualizzare la sovrapposizione della
curva d'avviamento motore e della curva di coppia resistente di carico.
A lato un esempio, dove
CM è la curva del motore, CL la curva del carico e CA (differenza puntuale tra CM e CL) è la
coppia disponibile per
l’avviamento (o coppia
accelerante).
Considerando anche l'inerzia del carico, il nostro ufficio tecnico può
calcolare il tempo d'avviamento del set completo, anche nei casi di avviamento stella/triangolo o
di tensione ridotta.

La Elcom Ucraina è una fiera
molto conosciuta che ha avuto
luogo il 17-20 Aprile presso Expo
Plaza a Kiev. Questa manifestazione è il luogo di incontro dei
