Anche Varvel SpA, storica PMI socialmente responsabile di Crespellano (BO) tra le realtà
menzionate nel corso della Va Edizione del Premio Eubiosia ANT 2013. Un riconoscimento che
premia l’impegno profuso dall’azienda, ma che al tempo stesso rappresenta un ulteriore stimolo,
con la speranza che un tale esempio possa essere seguito da altre compagini produttive.
UN IMPEGNO DA CONDIVIDERE
Varvel SpA menzionata tra le aziende sostenitrici alla Va Edizione del Premio Eubiosia ANT 2013.
Un motivo di grande soddisfazione per l’impresa, da anni attiva nel sociale, con l’auspicio di
essere motivo ispiratore per altre realtà produttive, in nome della solidarietà.
Grande soddisfazione e tanta emozione, in Varvel SpA, menzionata lo scorso 22 novembre tra
le aziende e organizzazioni che nel 2013 hanno sostenuto la Fondazione ANT, Associazione
Nazionale Tumori. Nel corso della cerimonia, a Milano,
il Presidente ANT Raffaella Pannuti ha infatti premiato le
aziende e le organizzazioni scelte tra le 134 candidate alla
Va Edizione del Premio Eubiosia ANT, patrocinato
dalla Regione Lombardia, con la collaborazione di una
qualificata giuria di giornalisti.
Il riconoscimento, rivolto ad aziende, fondazioni
d’impresa e istituzioni distintesi per il loro impegno
nel sociale e che abbiano contribuito alla crescita dei
progetti di assistenza e prevenzione oncologica
della Fondazione ANT nel corso del 2013, è stato
anche l’occasione per annunciare il 21° Ospedale Domiciliare
Oncologico ANT che inaugura così l’attività della Fondazione anche in provincia di
Milano, a Paderno Dugnano. Si estendono così i gruppi di assistenza domiciliare già presenti
in 9 regioni italiane e composti da équipe multidisciplinari di medici, infermieri e psicologi che
lavorano per la Fondazione nata a Bologna nel 1978. Con i suoi 4.000 malati seguiti ogni giorno
a domicilio da 400 professionisti, ANT rappresenta la più ampia realtà non profit nel Paese
per l’assistenza socio-sanitaria gratuita ai sofferenti di tumore.
Il sostegno del mondo imprenditoriale è indispensabile per il mantenimento e lo sviluppo delle
attività della Fondazione nata per volere dell’oncologo Franco Pannuti. Proprio per sottolineare questo
strategico legame, da cinque anni ANT attribuisce il Premio Eubiosia alle realtà che contribuiscono
alla realizzazione del progetto di solidarietà che porta avanti. Quest’anno la cerimonia ha avuto
come tema “Non profit e imprese: forme virtuose di collaborazione in tempo di crisi”.
“Essere stati menzionati e aver concorso al premio è stato per noi un motivo di orgoglio - afferma
Francesco Berselli, Presidente di Varvel SpA - perché oltre alla soddisfazione di aver partecipato
all’evento e di aver contribuito a sostenere la Fondazione, ci ha permesso di diffondere la nostra
filosofia di azienda socialmente responsabile, come testimoniato dai numerosi interventi e
dall’annuale bilancio di sostenibilità, auspicando di poter essere seguiti da altre aziende che
condividano la nostra visione”.

sia a favore di ANT che di Medici Senza Frontiere e Unicef, versando a ognuna delle tre associazioni,

dell’impresa e i suoi risultati economici alla tutela di persone meno fortunate, con la viva speranza

Great satisfaction and lots of emotion, in Varvel SpA, mentioned on November 22 among
the companies and organizations that in 2013 supported the ANT Foundation, National
Cancer Association. During the ceremony in Milan, the ANT
President, Raffaella Pannuti, did reward the companies
and organizations selected from the 134 candidates for
5th Edition of the Eubiosia ANT Award, sponsored by
the Lombardy Region, in collaboration with a qualified
panel of journalists.
The award, aimed at enterprises, corporate foundations
and institutions distinguished for their commitment
to social activities and contributing the growth
of care and prevention cancer projects of ANT
Foundation in 2013, was also the occasion to
announce the opening of the 21st ANT Homecare Cancer
Hospital and of the Foundation's activities in Paderno Dugnano, province of Milan.
So, the home care groups were implemented, groups born in Bologna in 1978 and already
present in 9 Italian regions and composed of multidisciplinary teams of doctors, nurses and
psychologists working for the Foundation. With its 4,000 patients home cared every day and
followed by 400 professionals, ANT represents the largest non-profit organization in the
country, in free of charge social-health care for the cancer suffering.
The support of the business community is essential for the maintenance and development
of the activities of the Foundation born by the will of the oncologist Franco Pannuti. Just to
emphasize this strategic relationship, since five years ANT has been giving the Eubiosia
Award to the entities that contribute to the realization of the solidarity project that brings
along. This year's ceremony took as its theme “Non-profit and enterprise: virtuous forms of
cooperation in crisis times.”
