evolution for 27 years, is setting the market trend in the professional and
industrial sector.
The manufacturing activity takes place in 2 factories covering an area of
40.000 m2 of which 7.500 m2 indoors.

BOILER CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES IN
COMPARISON
At the beginning of the 80’s the boilers were built in pressed
aluminum and formed by two moulded shells; the liquid seal and
the pressure were possible thanks to a NBR or silicone sealing
(see picture 1 2). Initially the heating element was immersed in
water and due to electrolytic corrosion problems the boiler was
compromised; subsequently the heating element has been die
cast (see picture 3 4).
In 1985 the age of the stainless steel boiler begins; the heating
element is directly welded onto the lower boiler shell (see picture
5 6 7 8 9) which then is welded with the upper boiler shell trough
MIG welding. The consequence of such a technology is that in
case of a failure of the heating element it is necessary to substitute the whole boiler.
All along the construction technology of professional heating
elements provides that the maximum supportable specific load
of the heating element’s heating tube must be between 6 W/cm²
-9 W/cm². It has been therefore necessary to increase the size
of this heating element (see picture 11) for its correct functioning. By consequence it has also been necessary to increase
the boiler sizes, causing longer heat-up times necessary for the
steam production (low efficiency boiler). Another nowadays popular and adopted technology for the production of large quantities of steam (from 4500W up to 7000W) provides a sum up of
small boilers (see picture 10) joined hydraulically and electrically
which occupy considerable volumes and the usage of more onerous components and processing types.
All’inizio degli anni ‘80 le caldaie erano costruite in alluminio pressofuso e formate da due gusci stampati; la tenuta idraulica e la pressione
erano possibili grazie ad una guarnizione in NBR o in silicone (vedi
foto 1 e 2).
Inizialmente la resistenza era immersa nell’acqua e, a causa di problemi elettrolitici, la caldaia era compromessa; successivamente la
resistenza venne pressofusa (vedi foto 3 e 4).Nel 1985 inizia l’era
della caldaia in acciaio inox; la resistenza è saldata direttamente sul
guscio inferiore della caldaia (vedi foto 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9), al quale viene
poi saldato il guscio superiore tramite saldatura MIG. Conseguenza
di tale tecnologia è che in caso di guasto alla resistenza è necessario
sostituire l’intera caldaia.
La tecnologia di costruzione delle resistenze professionali prevede
che il carico specifico massimo sopportabile del tubo di riscaldamento
dell’elemento riscaldante deve essere compreso tra 6W/cm² - 9W/
cm². Si è reso pertanto necessario aumentare le dimensioni della
resistenza stessa (vedi foto 11) affinché quest’ultima possa funzionare correttamente. Di conseguenza è necessario aumentare anche
le dimensioni della caldaia, causando un allungamento dei tempi di
riscaldamento necessari per la produzione di vapore (caldaia a basso
rendimento).
Altra tecnica oggigiorno diffusa e adottata per produrre vapore in
grandi quantità (da 4500W a 7000W) è quella che prevede la somma
di piccole caldaie (foto 10) unite idraulicamente ed elettricamente, che
occupano volumi considerevoli nonché l’utilizzo di componentistiche
e tipologie di lavorazione più onerose (sistema a basso rendimento).
COMPARAISON DES TECHNOLOGIES
DE CONSTRUCTION DES CHAUDIÈRES
Au début des années 80, les chaudières
des appareilles vapeur étaient composés
en aluminium pressé et formées de deux
coques assemblées ; l’étanchéité hydraulique et la pression étant possibles grâce
à un joint en NBR ou silicone. (voir figure
1, 2).
La première résistance était immergée dans
l’eau de la cuve et, à cause de problèmes
électrolytiques, la duré de la chaudière était
limitée. Ensuite est venue la résistance
sous pression, moulée (voir figure 3 4).
En 1985 vient l’époque de la chaudière en
Inox ; la résistance est directement soudée
sur la partie inférieure de la chaudière (voir
figure 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ) et la coque supérieure
est en suite soudée en MIG. Conséquence, si la résistance tombe en panne, il est
nécessaire de remplacer la cuve complète.
Depuis toujours, la technologie de construction des résistances prévoit que la charge
spécifique maximum admissible sur le tube
de chauffage est compris entre 6W/cm² et
9W cm². Il était donc indispensable d’ augmenter la taille des résistances pour obtenir un fonctionnement correcte (voir figure
11). Par conséquent il fallait augmenter les
dimensions des chaudières ce qui allongeait le temps de chauffe afin d’obtenir une
vapeur correcte (chaudière à bas rendement).
Une outre technologie, de nos jours diffusée
et adoptée pour obtenir vapeur en grandes
quantités (de 4500W à 7000W) est celle
qui prévoit l’assemblage des petites cuves
(voir figure 10) unies hydrauliquement et
électriquement, qui occupent des volumes
considérables ainsi que l’usage des components et typologies de travail plus onéreux.
KONSTRUKTIONSTECHNOLOGIEN
DER HEIZKESSEL IM VERGLEICH
Anfang der 80-er Jahre wurden die
Heizkessel der Dampfgeräte in gepresstem Aluminium gebaut und durch zwei
gegossene Schalen gebildet; die Flüssigkeitsabdichtung und Druck wurden
ermöglicht Dank einer NBR- oder Silikondichtung (siehe Foto 1 2). Ursprünglich war
das Heizelement in Wasser getaucht und,
auf Grund von Problemen mit elektrolytischer Korrosion, war der Heizkessel kompromittiert; daraufhin wurde das Heizelement druckgegossen (siehe Foto 3 4).
1985 beginnt die Ära des Edelstahlheizkessels; das Heizelement wird direkt auf den
unteren Kesselmantel geschweißt (siehe
Foto 5 6 7 8 9), der dann mit dem oberen
Kesselmantel durch ein MIG-Schweißen
verschweißt wird. Das Ergebnis einer
solchen Technologie ist, dass es im Falle
eines Ausfalls des Heizelements nötig ist
den komplette Kessel auszutauschen.
Schon immer sieht die Konstruktionstechnologie von professionellen Heizelementen vor, dass die maximale ertragbare
spezifische Belastung des Heizrohrs des
Heizelements zwischen 6 W/cm² - 9 W/
cm² liegen muss. Es ist daher notwendig
gewesen das Heizelement zu vergrößern
(siehe Foto 11), damit dieses richtig
funktionieren kann. Folglich ist es auch
notwendig gewesen den Heizkessel zu
vergrößern, wodurch längere Aufheizzeiten, notwendig für die Dampfproduktion,
verursacht wurden (Heizkessel mit geringer Leistung). Eine andere heutzutage
verbreitete und angenommene Technologie zur Produktion von großen Dampfmengen (von 4500W bis 7000W) sieht eine
Summierung von kleinen Heizkesseln (foto
10), hydraulisch und elektrisch vereint, die
großes Volumen einnehmen vor und die
Verwendung von aufwendigeren Komponenten und Verarbeitungstypologien.

LAS CALDERAS A COMPARACIÓN
Al principio de los años 80 las calderas
estaban construidas en aluminio fundido a
presión y formadas por dos cascos moldeados; la retención hidráulica y la presión,
eran posibles gracias a una guarnición en
NBR o siliconas (fotografías 1 y 2).
Inicialmente la resistencia estaba sumergida en el agua y debido a problemas
electrolíticos, la caldera estaba comprometida; sucesivamente la resistencia fue
fundida a presión (fotografías 3 y 4).
En 1985 comienza la era de las calderas
en acero inoxidable; la resistencia está
soldada directamente en el casco inferior
de la caldera misma (fotografías 5, 6, 7,
8 y 9) al cual se suelda después el casco superior mediante soldadura en MIG.
Consecuencia de esta tecnología, es que
en el caso de avería de la resistencia
se tiene que sustituir la caldera entera.
Desde siempre, la tecnología de construcción de las resistencias profesionales prevé que la carga específica máxima soportable del tubo de calentamiento de este
elemento calentador tiene que ser incluido entre 6W/cm² - 9W/cm². Se hizo entonces necesario aumentar los tamaños
de la resistencia misma (fotografía 11)
para que pueda funcionar correctamente.
En consequencia, es necesario aumentar
también los tamaños de la caldera, causando el alargamiento del tiempo de calentamiento necesario para la producción
de vapor (calderas con bajo rendimiento).
Otra técnica difusa y adoptada hoy día
para la producción de gran cantidad de
vapor (de 4500W a 7000W) es la que
prevé la suma de calderas (fotografía 10)
pequeñas unidas hidráulicamente y eléctricamente, que ocupan volumenes considerables y la utilización de componentes
y tipologías de elaboración mas costosas.

Our technology is based on 27 years of experience. It has developed
and improved paying attention to the user’s needs and the needs of
the distributors of our steam cleaning equipment which convey to us
day by day the most diversified applications of steam cleaning in the
professional, industrial as well as in the domestic sector.
A) THE BOILER, the heart of the steam generators, with
removable heating elements - PATENT
TECNOVAP’s boilers are made exclusively in stainless steel AISI 304
and welded with a special welding technique called TIG „Tungsten
Insert Gas” by specialized technicians and hence realized without
gaskets as a single “body” (image B-C-D) tested up to a pressure
of 70bar.
E) THE HEATING ELEMENT - PATENT
It is demonstrated that TECNOVAP’s heating elements have the
highest efficiency available on the market (28W/cm²) compared
with the standard ones (6W/cm²). The heating element itself has no
direct contact with the water but is fused in special alloy and has
therefore the maximum heat conduction. Example: with our 10,8kW
generator with a boiler with a capacity of 7 liters of water the time to
heat up steam to 10bar is only 6 minutes, while other systems need
to use boilers with a capacity of 15/18 liters of water. Furthermore,
our heating element has dilatation properties with rising temperature,
which means that scale formed on the heating element is eliminated
regularly. Our heating element are “self-cleaning” and they have a
longer lifetime as a consequence (image F-G-H).

Dampfes in der professionellen, industriellen Reinigung sowie in der Reinigung des
Haushaltsbereiches weiterleiten.
A) DER DAMPFKESSEL, das Herz der
Dampfgeneratoren, mit demontierbaren
Heizelementen - PATENT
TECNOVAP’s
Dampfkessel
werden
ausschließlich aus AISI 304 Edelstahl
hergestellt und mit einem speziellen
Schweißverfahren, TIG „Tungsten Insert
Gas“ genannt, von spezialisierten Technikern zusammengeschweißt. So ensteht
ein einziger Körper ohne Dichtungsringe
(fotos B-C-D), getestet mit bis zu 70bar
Druck.
E) DAS HEIZELEMENT - PATENT
Es ist bewiesen, daß TECNOVAP’s Heizelemente die beste auf dem Markt erhältliche Ergiebigkeit haben (28W/cm²) im Gegensatz zu den Standard-Heizelementen
(6W/cm²). Das Heizelement selbst ist
nicht im direkten Kontakt mit dem Wasser
sondern ummantelt mit einer Speziallegierung und hat somit eine maximale Hitzeleistung. Beispiel: bei unserem 10,8kW
Generator mit einem Dampfkessel mit
Fassungsvermögen von 7 Litern Wasser
dauert das Aufheizen des Dampfes auf
10bar nur 6 Minuten, während andere
Systemen Dampfkessel mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 15/18 Litern verwenden müssen. Eine andere Eigenschaft
unseres Heizelementes ist, dass es sich
mit ansteigender Temperatur ausdehnt,
was zur Folge hat, dass der auf dem
Heizelement gebildete Kalkbelag abfällt.
Wir können unser Heizelement also als
„selbstreinigend“ bezeichnen und es hat
dadurch auch eine längere Lebensdauer
(figure F-G-H).

giorno ci mettono a conoscenza delle più svariate applicazioni
della pulizia a vapore professionale, industriale e domestica.
A) LA CALDAIA, il cuore delle macchine, con resistenze
smontabili PATENT
Le caldaie TECNOVAP sono realizzate esclusivamente in
acciaio inox AISI 304 unite da una saldatura speciale, tecnica
chiamata TIG: “Tungsten Inert Gas”, da tecnici patentati. Nasce
di conseguenza un corpo unico senza guarnizioni di tenuta (foto
B-C-D) e testato fino ad una pressione di 70 bar.
E) L’ELEMENTO RISCALDANTE - PATENT
È dimostrato che le resistenze TECNOVAP hanno il più alto
rendimento presente oggi sul mercato (28W/cm²) a differenza di
quelle standard (6W/cm²). L’elemento riscaldante non è a contatto
diretto con l’acqua ma fuso in una lega speciale, avendo così la
massima conduzione di calore. Esempio: con il nostro generatore
da 10,8 kW con quantità di acqua nella caldaia di 7 litri, il tempo
per la produzione del vapore a 10 bar è di solo 6 minuti, mentre
altri sistemi devono utilizzare caldaie da 15/18 litri. Un’altra
proprietà è quella di dilatarsi con l’aumento della temperatura la
quale provoca il distacco del calcare dalla resistenza. Possiamo
dunque definire le nostre resistenze “autopulenti” ed hanno
quindi una durata di vita più lunga (foto F-G-H).

A) LA CHAUDIÈRE, le cœur des

Les chaudières Tecnovap sont réalisées
exclusivement en acier inox AISI304 et
unies par une soudure spéciale, technique
nommée TIG : « Tungsten Inert Gas »
effectuée par des techniciens spécialisés.
Elles viennent donc réalisées sans joints
comme un seul “corp” (figure B-C-D) et
testées à une pression allant jusqu’à 70 bar.
E) LA RÉSISTANCE, l’élément chauffant
- PATENT
Il est démontré que les résistances
Tecnovap ont le meilleur rendement
disponible aujourd’hui sur le marché (28W/
cm2) contrairement à ceux standard (6W/
cm2). L’élément chauffant n’est pas en
contact direct avec l’eau mais fondu dans
de matériaux spéciaux ayant ainsi la
maximale conductivité de chaleur. Par ex
: Avec notre générateur 10.8KW, équipé
d’une chaudière avec 7 litres de capacité
d’eau, le temps de production de vapeur
à 10 bar est de seulement 6 minutes, alors
que d’autres systèmes doivent utiliser
des chaudières avec 15 à 18 litres d’ eau
. Une autre propriété de notre résistance
est celle de se dilater avec la température
croissante, provocant ainsi le détachement
du calcaire formé sur celle-ci. Nous pouvons
donc définir nos résistances comme « auto
nettoyantes » et par conséquent elles ont
une plus longue durée de vie (figure F-G-H).

E) LA RESISTENCIA, el elemento de

Está demonstrado que las resistencias
TECNOVAP tienen
el
más
alto
rendimiento hoy presente en el mercado
(28W/cm2) a diferencia de las estandares
(6W/cm2). El elemento de calentamiento
mismo no está en contacto directo con
el agua pero fundido en una aleación
especial, obteniendo así la máxima
conducción de calor. Ejemplo: con
nuestro generador de 10,8kW con una
capacidad de agua en caldera de 7
litros, el tiempo para la producción de
vapor a 10 bar es de solo 6 minutos,
mientras que otros sistemas tienen que
utilizar calderas de 15/18 litros. Nuestra
resistencia también tiene la propiedad de
dilatarse con la temperatura en aumento,
provocando así el despegado de la cal
formada sobre esa misma. Podemos
entonces definir nuestras resistencias
como “autolimpiadoras” y tienen por eso

Kalkproblem betroffen sind.

The Water Filter System Tecnovap was tested by the University of Verona on the model “Aida
Live” and is also available on all models.
The obtained results lead to define the “Tecnovap System” an excellent aid in house keeping.
Thanks to the possible combination of water filter system, a Hepa filter (able to filter particles ≥
0,3 micron diameter), and a high temperature steam discharge, this machine presents itself as
a complete instrument for cleaning, particularly indicated for capturing and containing allergens.

The Steam Mop system was tested by the University of Verona (Departement of Medicine and
Public Health) on the model Carmen Plus Inox and is also available on all 6 bar professional
models. The obtained results lead to define the Steam Mop system an efficient method for
cleaning of floors and vertical surfaces; the mixed action of steam and disinfectant guarantees
the total reduction of the contaminating.

Esteticar is a steam generator with a wet/dry vac and the
injection of detergent, hot water and two available selectable
fragrances. It is equipped with a direct connection to the water
net, an antifreeze system and an automated mud drain of the
boiler. The switching on and the switching off are programmable. Esteticar is also provided to be operated in a self-service
mode and to be operated contemporaneously by two users.
Esteticar è un generatore di vapore con aspirapolvere/
aspiraliquidi e con iniezione di detergente, di acqua calda e
di una profumazione a scelta tra le due disponibili.
E’ dotato di attacco diretto alla rete idrica, sistema antigelo e
scarico automatico dei fanghi dalla caldaia. L’accensione e
lo spegnimento della caldaia sono programmabili. Esteticar
è predisposto per il funzionamento in modalità self-service
e per essere utilizzato contemporaneamente da due utenti.

Esteticar est un générateur de vapeur avec aspirateur d’

d’une aromatisation au choix entre les deux disponibles. Il est
doté d’une connexion directe au réseau hydrique, d’un système
antigel et de décharge automatique des déchets de la chaudière. L’allumage et l’arrêt de la chaudière peuvent être programmés. Esteticar prévoit le fonctionnement en modalité self
service et peut être utilisé en même temps par deux usagers.
