Dealing with bookings and events enquiries Preparing event materials Liaising with venue to organise logistics Attend events to provide assistance Sending out any event correspondence to attendees Overseeing and supporting volunteers providing assistance with events Where: South west London, UK When: To be defined 2015/2016 3) Title: Outreach / marketing assistant Sector: Non profit Tasks and responsibilities: Organize, attend, and participate in special events and promotions advocating volunteering for local community Serve as spokesperson for the organization at some meetings, special and media events. Responsible for developing and implementing new creative ways for outreach, encouraging people to join volunteering. Planning Marketing and Publicity Social Media Updating the website using Wordpress Writing press releases Health and Safety checks Creating publicity materials Attending events and helping them run smoothly Updating databases Where: Cambridgeshire, UK When: To be defined 2015/2016 6) Title: Studio assistant Field: Arts Gallery Tasks and responsibilities: Handle phone enquiries and personal visits Plan and coordinate events and exhibits. Ensure that the gallery is clean and tidy Ensure visitors follow the rules. Responsible for keeping artwork safe while the gallery is open. Staff the front desk, greet visitors, answer questions and field sales inquiries. Promote current and upcoming exhibits Help with the physical installation of exhibits. Painting or repairing walls and pedestals, allocating display materials and removing artwork when an exhibit is over. Operate audio-visual equipment and keep gallery's website and social media up to date.
