La Serie C2-8000 di TV One - azienda statunitense del Gruppo Nortek, specializzata in
apparecchiature e tecnologie audio/video per il mondo broadcast e nota in particolare
per la sua tecnologia di conversione video CORIO - comprende una gamma completa
di processori in grado di eseguire uno switching seamless di elevata qualità, nonché la
conversione di formato universale up/down di un massimo di dodici ingressi video di
vario tipo, digitali e/o analogici.
Basate sull’evoluzione della tecnologia proprietaria sviluppata da tvone (CORIO 2),
le unità C2-8000 forniscono molteplici moduli d’ingresso per accogliere segnali nei
formati HDMI, DVI, Video Composito, YC, YUV, YPbPr o RGB, che possono essere
scalati e smistati tra loro, unitamente a due canali indipendenti per l’elaborazione.
Il sistema può disporre anche di moduli I/O 3G-SDI, oltre ad un modulo I/O audio.

È possibile impostare le uscite DVI-U (HDMI, DVI, CV, YC, YUV, YPbPr o RGB)
praticamente con ogni risoluzione PC o HDTV (o SDI, in presenza di modulo I/O
3G-SDI). Naturalmente sono supportati gli standard NTSC, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N e
SECAM.
Tra le caratteristiche di rilievo: il circuito Digital Flicker Elimination e l’elevata
frequenza di campionamento che permettono di mantenere la qualità e la chiarezza
dell’immagine; Pixel Level Motion Adaptive Diagonal Interpolation e Noise Reduction
per un de-interlacciamento di qualità dei segnali PAL, NTSC e 1080i; Pull-down 3:2
per una corretta estrazione dei contenuti a 24 fps da sorgenti NTSC e 1080i; zoom 10x
variabile per allargare qualsiasi area dello schermo PC andando a riempire l’intero
schermo video, con controlli per il posizionamento; ridimensionamento variabile fino
al 10% dell’immagine originale. Presente inoltre la funzione AutoSet, che permette di
dimensionare e posizionare automaticamente l’immagine da computer per adattarla
alle esatte dimensioni dello schermo video.
Alloggiate in singole unità rack con PSU interna opzionale per la ridondanza
dell’alimentazione, le unità C2-8000 permettono il controllo delle funzioni tramite
pannello frontale oppure da remoto via RS-232/422/485 o connessione IP.

The C2-8000 range of TV One, an American
company of the Nortek Group specialised in audio/
video appliances and technology for the broadcasting
world and known particularly for its CORIO video
conversion technology, includes a comprehensive range
of processors able to perform high quality seamless
switching and the conversion of up/down universal
format of a maximum of twelve video inputs of different
kinds, digital and/or analogue.
Based on the evolution of the proprietary technology
developed by tvone (CORIO 2), the C2-8000 units
provide multiple input modules to receive signals in
HDMI, DVI, Video Composite, YC, YUV, YPbPr or RGB
formats, which can be scaled and sorted between them,
together with two independent processing channels.
The system can also avail of 3G-SDI I/O modules in
addition to an I/O audio module.

It is possible to set the DVI-U (HDMI, DVI, CV, YC, YUV,
YPbPr o RGB) outputs with any PC or HDTV (or SDI,
in the presence of 3G-SDI I/O module) resolution.
Naturally, NTSC, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N and SECAM
standards are supported.
The important characteristics are: the Digital Flicker
Elimination circuit and the elevated sampling frequency
which maintains the quality and clarity of image;
Pixel Level Motion Adaptive Diagonal Interpolation and
Noise Reduction to de-interlace the quality of PAL, NTSC
and 1080i signals; Pull-down 3:2 for a correct extraction
of the contents at 24 fps from NTSC and 1080i sources;
10x variable zoom to widen any area of the PC screen
to fill the entire video screen, with positioning controls;
variable resizing of up to 10% of the original image.
It also presents the AutoSet function which
automatically sizes and positions the image from the
computer to adapt it to the exact dimensions of the
video screen.
Lodged in single rack units with optional internal PSU
for the redundancy of the power supply, the C2-8000
units control the functions by means of a front panel
or remotely via RS-232/422/485 or IP connection.
